I also joined the show for Arylie. I actually watched the original show Ishti Kutum with family while growing up. Tbh when I learned of Imlie I knew it was gonna be bad with love triangle. But never really realized how bad Malini’s character was going to be, because on the original her character was realistic and grey. Not evil. Who’s life motto is to ruin someone’s life for making a man leave her. Like there is nothing more important than a man for a educated well established woman. The independent girl who was supposed to fight for herself, the strong independent girl who is a topper and a dreamer became the crying doormat and abla nari, who has nothing better to do other than create babies or cry for trust. The self assured, feminist, smart, rich, educated mentor, became the idiotic good for nothing misunderstanding egotistical husband. Who has nothing better to do but cry for his dead kid and his wife leaving.

At this point I want Imlie to leave everything behind and just have her kid. Where she can live in peace without the Rathore’s and Malini. Maybe then she will have some kind of peace.


Itv hasn’t changed a bit in the last 10 years. They are going backward with their stories and dramas. The dramas I used to watch 10-12 years ago had better stories than the craps they are showing nowadays everywhere. Imlie would be the last show I will watch until there will be something new without toxicity, abuse, love triangles, Sautan, 2 sister fighting for a man, saas bahu drama, cheating and many other tropes.

These days they do most possible horrible things in name of twist.. I am surprised that in current track.. Aryan never never has been shown .. not for a second thinking that Imlie is his responsibility.. 1. Because of their age difference

2. They r husband wife

3. He forced married her.. which was toxic only but as reason behind it was shown to be his wish to protect her, we accepted it.

Actually we can't blame production houses really.. it's they show what people watch..

People r attracted to toxicity and so shows with highest toxicity level and worst content are most hit.. sad truth..

By the ways .. to distract myself from ongoing disaster in imlie.. I started watching " Apna Time Bhi Ayega" .. as I wanted to watch more of FK.... It's helping me.. just a suggestion.. Imlie has become intolerable.. even though I love the actors😍
