It is general rule in ITV, especially hindi shows that the show starts with an aspiring self reliant FL, who meets ML, most probably opposite in character with a toxic family. Pre marriage FL definitely have a career goal. They create such a situation that FL and ML gets tied up in marriage, mostly a forced one and FL ends up being a super woman saving the world, and in the process her career goals take a back seat. In most shows career will be restricted to only dialogues. Be it business woman Anupama, doctor Sai Joshi or Journalist Imlie or Home delivery Banni or any other.

Definitely there will be a third angle in the story. They will restrict to family politics and vamp trying to destroy FL-ML relation.

After 50-100 episodes of marriage they will prove that FL-ML is like Shiv Parvati jodi (with no open communication in most cases), made for each other. They conveniently forget under what circumstances they were forced to marry and the love what you find between them is obligation out of wedlock. Not real love. IN ARYAN SINGH RATHORE'S WORDS "SUCH A JOKE"

But we audience will buy their BS merely because of either the fire chemistry between actors like in AryLie or TRP people like to watch toxic family roasting FL.

I wonder when there will be an end to this similar pattern in ITV or if there will be any changes in near future

The wasted potential of Arpita is another pain point for me, but completely consistent with Guls trope of having a male lead that financially supports his sister and is fully dependent on him. Such regressive thinking, a good brother should be ensuring that his sister is financially independent and has her own life so that she is able to make her own life decisions, based on her choices and priorities. Why they couldn't have shown arpita working after the leap is beyond me! Maybe initially she was still in trauma etc but arylie helping Arpita rebuild her life would have been great to see, but no in ITV land the only way to rebuild your life as a woman is you get married so you can be dependent on another man in your life. Arpita presumably is cash rich, unless Aryan is inheriting all the family fortune, which again is not very progressive, and her having a career would have been consistent with Aryan coaching imlie about the importance of work as a coping mechanism.

I agree that the show is on wound up mode now, but I don't think it's going to happen this week as previously feared, it might have been extended a few weeks and in that case they can still show imlie progressing her career.

Unless they are going to show just a montage of old episodes in rwsp this Sunday in the name of romance, they must be shooting for that too this week, so how are they going to shoot the climax too seeing they don't have any bank episodes.

Its quite amazing just how badly this has been managed by the pH and SP.
