Shyam from IPKKND was a really well written villain. I hated him so much. How he literally used to act like such a nice sweet guy in front of Raizada's and Gupta's and how everyone had trusted him. Always helping anyone who needed help.

I remember from cast to all were really down at that time. It was one of the well written show, a lot to analyse.

I think Imilie's creative knows how the industry works so they are kind of used to it. Seems a lot is going behind the curtain here as well. Also I don't think the writers do a lot of research when bringing issues as well we the audience hype for small things too. (Sorry to say this, it includes me too, I sometimes feel we hype in one episode alone before seeing how it pans out). Writers have accomplished so much that we are too attached to the characters.

Physiological issues are hard , complex and sometimes disturbing for itv audience, especially the slot in Imilie is in. Although I think actors have it in them to perform well,. Not sure if writers have so much liberty to touch it in real sense

bepannah remains one of my favourite shows that I actually rewatched parts of it. there are very few dramas where I did that. however, towards the end, it lost a lot of steam and I wasn't surprised at all that it got cancelled. am glad they wrapped it up as a complete story though.

as for imlie, I feel they sometimes know what they are doing and a lot of times they don't. they tease us with stuff and then drop the ball. so I don't think the writers do much research at all -- let alone read the national newspaper. if they did, some of the arcs would't be that absurd. but we just have to keep it as entertainment.

as for fans, I think it can be both a plus and a negative when we get hyped and see things that may or may not be there. one, it makes writers accountable to not write stupid stuff and keep the current mood in mind. secondly, it can lead to lots of healthy discussion. I personally feel that I have grown as a person because of various posts over the years that forced me to think on different angles, issues and perspectives. since we all have different life experiences, we would be challenged when we read a view which is so far from ours.

at the same time, I will also admit that there are times I get lost on fan notes myself. 😂 this happens with more brainy english shows -- sometimes I have no idea what on earth fan reviews are trying to say and what theories they are cooking. my brain doesn't go that far. 😆

Faloodaji.... you are expecting the impossible. The CVs, which also include women in their team, didn't bother to give their titular character, who has gone through so much physically & emotionally in a day, a proper breakdown. And you are expecting them to write a complex villain track for Malini? 🤣 will be my response. Sorry... that's how disappointed & furious I am today. 😠

I am not sure what I say is right in this platform, just like getting married isn't happily ever after, having a baby changes your life upside down overnight. It's an amazing feeling yet the hardest job on earth. One of the greetings I got after my eldest birth read as "welcome to the world of sleepless nights".I couldn't understand when an old lady in the hospital once said sleep as much as you can before the delivery. Few weeks before delivery, I couldn't sleep after delivery I was craving for 15 mins of sleep if anyone can look after the baby. I was on my own and my husband is rarely at home due to work commitments. Every child is different, mine wakes up every 2 hours at night, feeding, nappy change and put child to sleep, second hour ticks again. I rarely got to sleep. My child is a light sleeper,, he would wake up to the sound of putting keys into the keyhole. It's hard, because I struggled with infertility for so long I took it with open arms. But it's not how we were told. But I have to say, first initial months I was so nervous to touch my own child but I had to because there wasn't anyone else to. I was nervous because all the time I've been through fertility issues, I comforted telling myself maybe god didn't bless me because somewhere I won't be able to take care of the baby.

Then all the days on A&E with them with cold and flu through nights was exhausting, days when they struggle to breath, it's all are a toll on a new mother. This is one part of my story.

In today's world, a lot of couples are away from their families. There's no help and some men don't understand and some can't due to work/other issues. Expectations from a mother is a lot, especially in Asian families. All sorts of pressure from finance to physical help are issues. And mostl people who don't have either a network of friends or any other support do end up taking drastic steps in postnatal depression. There are stories of a lot of Asian families end up killing the children as well as themselves. Issue is its a stigma to be depressed in our society, we don't talk openly. We need to educate these issues. It is real.

Some go into depression after miscarriage too. It depends on person to person. Loosing your child and unable to protect is another side of mental trauma. It questions your capabilities to look after another life.

Wr to Malini, I really felt she was depressed in the abortion episode. I simply think she's depressed with how she imagined her life to be different from her parents and how it panned out. Combined with her trauma since childhood. I feel Malini is worse effected by the extra marital affair than Imilie is. Imilie had a strong support system in the form of Amma and dadda, she was the apple of their eye, she had positive influence. Where Malini had Dev and Anu, who were constantly fighting, the negative influence. Insecurity steamed from their itself. She's seen the worse within the home. With all that, she grew up to be mature, good hearted lady. Her mother's constant warning came true in the form of Imilie, she would have questioned her goodness. Imilie is Malini's perspective is the root cause of her parent's broken marriage. In today's episode she is saying all that Imilie has snatched from her.

In the abortion episode, she herself acknowledged that she doesn't have any love to give to the baby. In today's episode, Myuris expressions were very complex and layered. there was guilt, sadness, love and hate and resentment. I wonder if it points towards if she recent herself for what she became in the love for akt, she openly said that she couldn't say welcome to the baby and how the baby would have called her., Howuch she wanted babies. There's love, guilt, resentment, sadness, hateful all for Ghudiya. Another thing is, she didn't leave the baby in an orphanage, I wonder if she wanted to cut all ties with the baby in guilt? Guilt of using her and not being a good mother? She just abandoned the baby, once the baby is gone, she wouldn't have any connections. I wonder if the hatred is towards herself which is coming out in vegence for Imilie and Ghudiya. I feel deep inside Malini knows what she's doing but unable to control herself, not because she's not calm nor impulsive but because of her mental state.

If future story of Malini to continue, it could deal with her guilt of loosing Gudiya which eventually in her mind due to Imilie?

Because it's very complex and itv, I am not sure how creative will touch this topic.

If Malini is shown to be depressed, I would understand her current character. She's I'll and she needs treatment, perhaps Imilie could support her to redemption.

thanks for the tag @mango.falooda ji❤️

First of all thanks for putting up such a wonderful post @Haraniji, our forum is such a wonderful platform we have all kinds of fans here🤗 all varieties are present😆 be it mothers, wives, sisters, singles😎thus this generates such in depth POVs that makes u analyze the characters from a whole diff viewpoint.

Now, I loved ur entire post but the bold part won me over completely. I have been thinking about this repeatedly post watching the episode why are they using Gudiya as Cheeni bcz that's dangerous for Arylie as the most hurtful comment these 2 idiots are going to play in their minds everytime they think of their separation is:

You gave more preference to your Gudiya over my cheeku bcz she is the daughter of AKT- For Imlie

Gudiya was in danger as your protection got broken, she wasn't safe with u bcz u started seeing her as AKT's daughter for Aryan

Now, if they had removed Gudiya and would have brought in just a random child then there would have been no way to actually solve this conflict that has been developed between Arylie, it would have been more like brushing this conflict under the rug bcz u had to reunite the lead pair, so they would have just shown that these 2 reconcile later and forgive each other for the nonsense they uttered not actually solving the conflict. On top of that Malini is not just a villain for them she was one of the leads (mano ya na mano😉), they cannot just dump her down without doing justice to her character so what would be the best way to show this? It would be her reconciliation with her daughter and then redemption, that actually makes me happy bcz we all have seen how much Malini has suffered.

@bold: I would honestly love the plot if they go this way and try redemption for Malini, now people will say she is irredeemable but i think that would have been the case if AKT was still in the picture but without him her reuniting with her daughter and starting a new life would be a new start for her. Also, they have purposely kept AKT out of the arc & I think they wouldn't bring him back for Malini bcz he was the sole reason behind the start of destruction in Malini's life.

Now, how will they approach the solution to this conflict between Arylie with Gudiya in picture makes me confused. Like I have no idea how it will be solved agar aap log kuch guess kar paa rahe ho toh batana🤪

wasra -- I have no idea why the CVs are stirring the pot. if they have to bring back the ghost of AKT in the form of gudiya, then they should be prepared to actually address the complex role that imlie played in the destruction of aditya and malini's marriage. imlie can claim innocence but it doesn't seem as clear cut (this is only my impression based on when imlie was obsessing over the tripathis). but then it would mean asking tough questions and are the writers prepared to do that? if they were, then your post makes a lot of sense. it would actually be interesting to watch. however, they want to skirt around everything in order to make imlie mahaan. they have been unwilling to even have her really discuss her previous marriage or any of her baggage. all I can reasonably expect is that aryan will turn really grey and malini will be villain....

Don't know yaar haven't thought that deep, as I said i have been racking my brain since the morning if they make Imlie raise gudiya does it not prove Aryan's accusation right? Bcz at the end of the day gudiya will remain AKT's child for Aryan, the moment he said Tumhari Gudiya, Mera Cheeku it became crystal clear, she is not the same little miss for him anymore, then how come Imlie became Mahaan? Isn't that proving that Aryan was accusing her for the right thing? But then people say they will never make Imlie wrong

Rather then thinking so much we will have to keep patience as to what they have thought bcz at this point it is really beyond comprehension😕

it is precisely because of the questions that it raises, it becomes a bit icky for some of us. if CVs intended for it to happen, then great. otherwise, it is hard to tell.

the gudiya story makes it seem like imlie is choosing aditya over aryan. that means for us arylie fans, it is a bit of a slap because it seems that per universe, imlie will always choose aditya in some form. 🤦 I do feel annoyed that now, we have the ghost of aditya in the form of gudiya. but they will explain all that away like imlie is some mahaan social service minded personality. who on earth raises their exes' child especially when the tripathis are still alive somewhere out there? 🤦 🤦 🤦

@ bold: This is exactly what I posted.

I understand gudiya was abandoned, so.Imlie couldn't leave her there. But the fact doesn't change that for 5 years Imlie did raise gudiya. How will aryan's insecuirites end. He has seen the obsession that Imlie has shown towards gudiya. I know aryan crossed the line when he brought Akt in between but he wasn't fully.wrong.Though MC was a mistake but Imlie's impulsiveness, her obsession did play a part no. If they would have handled it maturely like aryan suggested this could have been avoided

Aryan tried everything to erase Imlie's insecurities but how would he feel when he will see that in these 5 years when he has been stuck at same place, Imlie was raising gudiya.

The big fact will always remain gudiya took precedence over Aryan..

The best would have been if they would have made cheeni a random kid. It that case, Aryan would have realised where he went wrong.

And also after listening to Imlie's dialogues and the way they did aryan dirty today. It will be he who will be endup accepting all the blame for separation when it Imlie's obession that started everything.

They will just go usual route of bonding cheeni and aryan, He will realise he went wrong and apollogise.
