Maybe because I binged 200 eps in about a week while knowing how it will work out, I maybe biased but I feel like I did get to see her side. She did feel something for him right from the beginning but her preoccupation with babusaheb and Tripathis had been blinding her to her own feelings.
It's just we are so used to seeing FLs grovel in front of their MLs in every show for even a scrap of affection, we don't know what to do when a ML doesn't force the FL to do that. She never grovelled because Aryan would never put her in that position. But doing the tandav for him, going nuts trying to find blood for him are all proof that she does in fact love him.
But the best evidence for me is after the "forced" wedding, she is angry with him but still wants to find the actual truth of Arvind's death to free Aryan from his pain and anger. And even Aditya could see that - hence he threw his fit and burned what she had been looking for. And then she still grovelled in front of Aditya to get the proof. She hated having to do that but she still did after thinking of Aryan's pain.
Then of course her grovelling in front of Harry, begging him to kill her instead of separating her from Aryan even though she has another life inside of her.
The problem is, in my opinion, is that she has him on this weird pedestal. That scene at the beauty contest with Madhav stuck with him. Madhav is fretting that he won't be able to recognize Aryan and Imlie replies that Aryan isn't the type of get lost in a crowd, the crowd always follows him. Now that's one hell of a compliment.
And then calling him a freaking star! A star is absolutely invulnerable, far above us. The idea that any human can even cause him any harm is laughable, ludicrous. And she thinks of him like that. While that's one hell of a compliment, it is also making her take him for granted. She is thinking that none of her actions can hurt him. But she is wrong. He is hurting watching her suffer and she might break him soon.
YMMV
