I originally posted these questions in DT but then thought it will be more informative for all if I just make this a separate topic.

calling doctors in the house -- (just trying to understand possible story going forward)

Q1. can you explain what are the complications with donating blood while pregnant? as in what would imlie face if she chooses to go forward with such foolishness?

Q2. I have this really vague memory of a news report from years ago where the parents conceived a second child to save the first one. however, because the first child was so serious, they didn't wait for the second child to be born and rather used some proceedure to draw out stuff???? I don't know if I am remembering the details correctly but is that possible? -- am wondering if imlie will do something like that in a risky operation thinking it will be perfectly fine as she is superwoman but then end up miscarrying?

Q3. what other risks do you see imlie doing as a pregnant woman which you would be agahst if she wasn't fictional? (just asking for general knowledge)

also, I can understand how narmada and others are going to interpret imilie's obsession with gudiya as related to aditya and the tripathis. there are bound to be comments that she is still not over her first marriage.

there are lots of babies in orphanages -- is she bringing all of them home? there are lots of parents who don't raise their children well -- is she planning to join child protection services to help form framework to help the country's children? there are lots of NGOs that help with children who are sexually abused and giving birth to those children -- why not help those abandoned children? there are religious institutions that have a cradle scheme where people can put a baby in the cradle and walk away with no questions asked; the institution will then raise the child -- why not help out with those institutions so that those children can benefit?

my point is that why obsess over this one baby when there are tons of other babies in the world? 🤷 the optics looks bad for imlie. 🙄

thanks for the detailed explanation shravani ❤️ -- that helps and gives us an idea of what to expect in terms of storyline.

as you said, the drama is low on medical logic but they will conveniently throw in stuff when needed. imlie is on another mahaan trip. no reason or logic can stop her!

Narrative is quite clear i think. Arylie found an abandoned baby and got attached to her. They wanted to adopt her because of attachment, they weren't looking to adopt but it's totally fine to decide that if you feel connected, that was when the parentage of baby was revealed and imlie is elated to find that she shares a relationship with her but also sad because Malini won't allow her near gudiya anymore.

Later imlie finds gudiya is not loved by her mother because of Imlie. If imlie was never in picture, Malini would have loved her daughter. That is what triggers imlie's saviour syndrome for gudiya because she feels responsible.

Malini knows how imlie will react to what situation and imlie knows what extent malini can go to hurt her. It's an open chess game.

Aryan also knows to what extent this fight can go, and he will try to stop imlie which will slowly increase their emotional distances and pitch them against eo.

Tagging for medical questions.

P.S -- shravani, please feel free to add any other medical illogic stuff; easier to remember such general medical knowledge when we can roast about it. 😆

kekeke.. I love how you lay it down 😆.... but I will say it only makes sense from imlie's perspective, that too barely. from the perspective of others, it will look just bad. we can wait for narmada, blue aunty and others to blow their top. it will be entertaining!

Thanks for the tag! Let me break this down

Q1: According to the internet, or rathe red cross "Pregnant women are not eligible to donate blood. The body needs the blood and its iron to support the fetus. Donating blood during pregnancy may increase the risk of complications such as anemia and compromise fetal health." Women are typically required to wait 6-8 weeks post delivery to give blood.

Q2: There have been cases like that. I don't know about an instance where someone has drawn out anything. But someone being brought into this world with the sole reason of donating their organs is not new. When genetic compatibility fails between family and strangers. Some desperate parents have another baby for the reason of saving another family member. In most cases a child of theirs. I don't think Imlie will do that, but a lot of normal procedures such as blood donation can also lead her to miscarry so that is more likely.

Q3: I am aghast at every thing she is doing currently. She is being her own enemy and fail to understand why she is so adamant on being the reason of her own misery. But frankly anything she does for gudiya is so so wildly stupid. She tried to take gudiya away from her own mother! and found that completely okay

- If Narmada and others make comments, in this case it is justified. Imlie brought this upon herself.

imlie is proving what narmada said when she turned negative for a while -- that imlie is incapable of being a dedicated/sincere wife to aryan and a member of the rathore family. imlie does not realize how her actions are going to translate to other people because she does not put herself in others shoes. she is rather self-centered that way and thinks she is always right.

it is difficult to understand such mahanta from this character arc -- can see it in terms of story for separation but are we supposed to cheer for this chick? makes you want to clap for malini on how smart that villain lady is. she barely had to lift a finger to unravel imlie.

Coming to ur 2nd qs, yes there exists such cases but it's very rare.

Its called savior sibling. baby conceived mostly to treat other child suffering with fatal disorder some anemia i guess didn't remember exactly. For which only treatment is stemcell transplantation or organ donation involving bone marrow. So it happens
