So no, her name is no longer Imlie, it is Imlie-ASR, and a hero who’s 3/4 of name belongs to someone else is not really a hero in anyone’s book.😆
So no, I don’t think Imlie is the hero, anymore.😆 Her character has been wholly destroyed beyond repair at this point. And since ASR, as you say, isn’t much of a hero himself, and you’ve also got weak villains, the entire show has no game.😆 All to elevate one character who prematurely took away all the kudos of a hero and for supposedly ‘saving’ Imlie while being a spectacular failure at fulfilling the responsibilities of one. So much so that the fans are passing the hero’s mantle back to Imlie after showering him with the praises and cursing her for not appreciating his ‘hero-giri’ enough.🤣
imlie is the hero and continues to be the hero of the show. if you understand literature, then you will understand my reference -- hero refers to the central character around which the plot revolves. it does not mean heroic in any form. infact they can be as stupid and brainless -- it does not matter really. so imlie being the hero was something that gashmeer himself recognized in this interview: (since he is a good actor, he understands very well)
