Imo, Malini's character is doing a great job as a plot device. In this whole reboot thing, she was and is actually needed bcz she knows Imlie's insecurities well..

The main reason of them being stuck at 1.9-2.1 is solely Arylie being made into parents especially at a time when we.didn't even get to see them as lovers. Many audiences left at at time. And now with the reboot , the execution and writing of episodes have improved and they are again slowly gaining momentum.

I personally feel they need to realse a Arylie centric tashan promo to bring back the audience. And they need to focus on Arylie as individuals and not as parents..

Keva is doing a wonderful job but if audience couldn't accept their cheeku . How will they accept them parenting someone else's kid. Now that in a week or 2 they have established the cheeni-Arylie bond in effort to make audience connect with cheeni, they need to tone done her scenes and bring focus back to Arylie. Cheeni will be a plot device bcz they had intent to make them parents, MC wouldn't have happened.

Past week we mostly got fillers, Arylie hit-miss. Its a good thing that where every show fell in star, we maintained its trps.

And tbh, trp audience watches anything and everything . They are not connected to characters like online audience. If not then shows like ghum who is toxic and cringe and bhagyas promoting bigmay won't be getting trps. They just need a well balanced epsiode with leads tashan, nok jhok , a balance between emotional and light hearted moments..

The only problem I have is them showing Imlie dirt poor.

there have been lots of shows where the female lead adopted a child but in many of them, the child is an orphan or parentage unknown. if the parentage was known at some point, it would be the male lead's child and they would get married for the sake of the child -- that kind of track. but here, we have this weird situation where she is raising the child of her ex-husband but the child is not biologically hers and both her ex and his wife are alive and so are his parents and relatives. it is more uncomfortably twisted to be interesting. rather falls into the area of strange. so I can see why TRP would fall and viewers would have tuned out.

also unless you are a fan who will keep watching nonetheless, a bacha track inserted into a show generaly slows it down and there is a lack of suspense that raises TRP.

no idea if true but it could be possible due to summer holidays (in the north) and people traveling to their hometowns. so busy hanging out with relatives and guests and not necessarily watching TV

I don't think they plan to keep cheeni. If that would have been their intent, she would have been their biological kid. They will phase her out later . And she is actually been used as a plot device till now.making aryan realise how Imlie lived for 5 years and adding some light moments to balance angst.

They might run malini-cheeni parellel track later. But plz I never want to see custody drama here.

Well said!Absolutely agree.I really hate it that a show like Bhagya Lakshmi is at par with us.Now that Imlie has got it's slot leadership back, I hope it does not lose it again ever.

am not sure how the hindi version is but I can see how dramas like that can be a hit. it is stupid but kind of addictive. the stuff that you can watch in the background while having dinner and there is an element of "will she finally grow a spine?" "will she finallly realize the truth" -- and they stretch those out for 100s of episodes.

Bold2 - Me neither. My wish would be to bring AKT back and then we can have Imlie helping him get closer to Cheeni. Aryan feels left out and we can get a lot of angst from that. But in the end, when AKT asks her to leave with him and Cheeni, she has no hesitation about choosing Aryan. As much as she loves Cheeni, she can never choose anyone over Aryan. With both AKTs leaving abruptly, I feel like I didn't get her definitely choosing Aryan. I know without any dobut that she loves only Aryan but it would still be satisfying to watch her choose Aryan even when AKT has Cheeni. Yeah, this will never happen but doesn't hurt to dream.☺️

And it makes the whole Cheeni situation even more painful because their own baby died because of a situation in which Cheeni involuntarily was involved. It's difficult for me to accept her presence in Cheeni's life. While I am no TRP auntie, I can imagine how the TRP aunties are feeling about this.
