Imlie needs to increase the time spent on it because it's RCH is way higher than the competition. That means way more people are tuning in but it's clear they watch the Arylie scenes and change the channel when everybody's favorite duo is not onscreen. This is solely on the writers - they need to develop the side characters and compelling parallel tracks.

Replying to@new_tvfan since I cannot tag.I completely agree with your post.There are many shows which have light-hearted episodes amidst the drama.The episodes of our show are emotionally taxing.Imlie should literally not to made to beg in front of everyone.Trp audience hate it if the FL is Bechari to this level. Remember the week in which Malini called Meethi characterless and made Imlie apologize while folding her hands. I am sure they hated it. That week we got a TRP of 1.9 and were on 10th position.Ghkkpm is a very toxic show but one of the reasons it gets higher TRP than us is that the FL is very savage.She always gives befitting reply to the vamp.Yeh baat alag hain ki the ML is useless.Here Malini and Anu constantly keep winning in their schemes which is a major put off for many.

All the rants aside.The TRP this week is good as all Star plus shows TRP has decreased. But Imlie's one is stable.I think the hit and miss of Arylie had kept viewers hooked to the TV screens.

Bold1 - That's why I wish the writers would give Arpita and Sundar more to do. Give Meethi more to do. Where is Satyakam? They are all good actors with an energetic, likable presence onscreen. Why not give them something fun or at least dramatic to do?

Bold 2 - And she was a bechari for the wrong reasons! I hated when Imli debased herself and Meethi by apologizing to Malini. That whole "apan Gudiya" track was a fail. No wonder Imlie lost the slot. And the writers don't seem to have learnt any lesson. Anu and Malini keep walking all over the Rathore family. It's so annoying to watch. Who can blame the audience for changing channels.

Arylie is definitely a hit with the audience. Its the rest of the characters that's flopping. More people are tuning in for Imlie than the competitor shows but they only keep watching for Arylie and then change channels. That's the problem.

TRPs prove that Malini's entry never gave the push which the show needed. Arylie separated for a lame reason which could have been solved overnight. Malini's entry has been received negatively by the audience. This show did better with Jyoti as a villain than Malini. This shows a lot about how audience received Malini back. Also the reason for Arylie separation is so lame that people find it hard to connect with. But now that the makers have stepped onto this road. They need to make the show more palatable. They need to bring Imlie and cheeni to RM. They need to bring back Arylie together. They also need to make the show more positive. Drama should be integrated with positivity. They should not rush with the tracks yet progress with the story smoothly.

I am not hopeful much. I believe that the show will be there for a short while after which then can take a gen leap.

However another think I noticed is most of the shows have dropped this week except for a few because of the cricket matches. I think the same will follow this week as well.
