Trp drop has benefited us in all ways. Probably makers get a wake-up call, so we get better content in future and loads of BTS muft muft muft 💃💃

Anyway we already predicted Trp drop last week by itself so why this hullabaloo from intellectuals 🤔

I am very happy with this Trp Drop TBH because PH is taking this show as granted and lack of efforts are clearly visible.

🤞🤞🤞 for getting them their brains back and hoping for some better content in future.

I was so happy with the TRP drop today, as I wanted the channel to realise what their interference is costing to the show and to themselves. And infact, I feel that even FK and SK too were happy with the drops, as their almost silent & indifferent behaviour on SM in the last few days were all of a sudden broken today. I know IPL playoffs, that too starting from 7.30pm, did have an effect on the ratings. But, one can't be blind that 2shows of the same time slot (TMKOC & BL) improved their ratings. Imparting social messages and all is a good thing. But, viewers nowadays prefer to watch light-hearted and soothing shows, especially after a hectic day in real life. And this post Covid phase have more people wishing to watch something peaceful and relaxing. I hope next week onwards we will get to see makers being more serious about their own baby. And I would take the below UK ratings as a good sign about the upcoming days. Yesterday's Imlie episode having more UK viewers than Anupama is surely a positive response and as I checked for the previous Indian ratings whenever we had a similar UK response, the ratings did range from 2.3 - 2.8, which is making me hopeful.

My 2 cents 😆

1. Imlie didn't have any miscarriages. Joe bribed the Doctor to lie about Fake positive and infertility issues. She even asked for abortion pills for imlie from same Doc.

That's the fact according to the show.

2. When BD suggested and BM blurted out "Good News" Aru and imlie both got surprised and shared a confused look. Why because they were not expecting that. That means they did use some kind of protection which failed.

None of the methods are 100% accurate that is also a FACT.

I myself got pregnant with my son while being on BC pills 🤭

3. Why is only Aryan responsible for unplanned pregnancy 🤔 He didn't r*pe her. They both indulged in this with their consent and they were not even under influence of any drug or alcohol.

Another Fact.

4. Being a young mother isn't a puke worthy nor is a hurdle in mother's professional growth like some people trying to portray.

I personally know someone who got pregnant at 15 and gave birth to her daughter at 16. (It's not unusual for teens to get pregnant in US)

Her family disowned her for a while and she moved in with her Baby daddy who by the way was a high schooler too.

It didn't work out at that time and her family took her back. Both started to focus on their studies and stayed in touch but not in relationship.

With the support of her family she finished her college and working at her dream job right now.

Now she married to her baby daddy both doing great professionally and personally. Recently bought their own home and had another baby. I am so happy for them for having their own HEA 🥰🥰

End of the story is You need a supporting family in order to progress even after having babies. Imlie has a solid support system in form of Her husband and Sunpita. Meethi and Dadda toh hain hi❤️

Neelu ji thanks for general awareness post... The obsession of self proclaimed non watchers with trp, though not shocking, is extremely tedious.

Also, the promo was offputting . Many people thought that Aryan will MU Imlie and left. They actually need to release that prem disha promo . It has potential to attract audience. Moreover, they also should have released confession promo.

OK, I am going to try and get past the GM/FK fan wars and provide a neutral perspective. Though I am a Gashmeer fan, I am very well aware of the fact that he quit the show voluntarily, and now has moved on to other things. He himself seems to have made it quite obvious that he doesn't want to be associated with the show or the medium from his interviews, so I think harping on how the TRP was when we he was there etc., IMO, is quite moot.

Now, even when GM was part of the show, the TRP saw ups and downs. Especially when the plot got repetitive with the same old churning of Aditya being blind to Malini and Anu's crimes and Imlie just constantly crying. Then there was a slight rise in the TRP right around the second wedding or Aditya and Malini, probably in the hopes that Malini's crimes would be exposed. And then the show managed to hold a somewhat steady TRP then. I do really think it was the presence of a story and the presence of a strong and a smart antagonist that helped move things along quite nicely. The ratio of good people to bad people was balanced, in that more people were good than bad. As insignificant as the Tripathis were, they were still around to add to the drama, move the story along nicely and then of course, showing Imlie as a strong character who was trying to set things in her life right on her own (with Aryan's help, of course).

But now, the story has gotten extremely cyclic. Narmada's characterization is not consistent. One day she is jubiliant about the prospect of getting a grandchild, the next day she is going and saying extremely mean things to Imlie and the day after, she is planning a god bharaai. Sundar seems like he has a job only because his wife is also in the serial, and they wanted to somehow cash in on the fact that they are a real life couple also!

Malini and Anu, as villainous as they were, they were classy. Malini especially, she was splendid in her role as the antagonist, and the build up of her villainy was very well executed, that everyone was looking forward to the day when her crimes would be out in the open. We must credit Gash here also for the acting he delivered, where in he was blindly trusting Malini and there was something for the audience to look forward to, to see how he would deliver when Malini's crimes come out in the open. Contrast that with the current antagonists. The plots they supposedly hatch are so childish and stupid. It is a wonder how Aryan doesn't see through them and throws them out of his house. There is absolutely zero build up, it is like in today's episode she hatches some nonsensical scheme like adding poison to food, or cutting off a tree branch, and predictably, Aryan goes and either hugs Imlie out of danger or catchers a falling Imlie with plenty of hugging and physical intimacy thrown in, for added effect. No wonder the audience are bored! I only read the written updates, and even that I find boring.

Fahmaan and Sumbul are good actors and they deserve a better plot. Yes, they have good chemistry, but overdoing the physical touches, the nok-jhok, the barrage of idiotic schemes from these supposed villains are really not doing any justice to the actors.

I wish they hadn't rushed with this nonsense pregnancy and flip flopping of whether she really is pregnant or not. Or with Aryan's infertility reports, I wish they would have at least kept it a mystery from the audience, so that we along with everyone else would also have been wondering how Imlie did get pregnant and will have some interest in continuing to follow the show, and revealed later on to be a scheme from a less obvious vamp. Or instead of just randomly having Aryan promote Imlie (sure, no conflict of interest there!!!), show some drama of a professional rivalry between the two, provide scope for Aryan to show 2 different faces of his, one as a ruthless boss who holds no bars even if it is for his wife who is is his employee, and the other as a loving husband, and show how the 2 navigate through these 2 different relationships. Endless possibilities, but alas..... they chooe an endless loop of poojas, celebrations, idiotic scheming and Imlie getting pregnant every 2 days!!

Rant over. I am too involved for someone who doesn't even watch this damn show!

So agree… the PH is taking the show for granted. So many people are just rolling eyes and FF the show these days… no budgets too … FL is wearing the same sarees/blouses on repeat twice a week. No location but poor hall which is make shift into kitchen, dining, living room as per convenience. They need to get serious or are going to loose more audience. I was myself a fan but stopped watching and surviving on clips for now… waiting for a better track to go back!!
Having said that, I do believe SK and FK have immense potential and can do wonders with a good plot.

Old GM fans are happy coz they know the plot is terrible otherwise Arylie can anyday beat the chemistry of their old couple. Let the good tracks come and see the difference.

Also for the eyebrow lift of ML, countless girls are crazy for that scar and lift of his… isn’t that the purpose? Isn’t he there to attract more fandom along with his acting skills.

I liked GM once but the way he has ridiculed the show and the platform/show after his exit, I have lost all respect. He has become arrogant and the way he talks bad about the medium, I kinda think he had some conditions which PH didn’t agree too and he left with half heart. If he was a real sport, he wouldn’t have bad mouthed a business which is still running… NOT COOL. Lot of people didn’t know him before Imlie, he gained popularity and the 1500 comments per pic in IG as he says we’re coz of Imlie, he shouldn’t forget that. Arrogant people always get lost in crowd… there are lot of stories as examples.
