Butchered or not???

Well hello ladies 🤗

I am back after a very busy week. And after reading reviews about how Aryan's character has been butchered, I decided to add my two cents as well😜

So last week I was showing my friend the bhed counting episode. She had no idea what this show is about so I gave her an overview. Her review about Aryan was very interesting.

She said, "although this dude is really handsome but he has this classic saruu look. And if you hadn't already told me how much he likes his girl, the stoic face he carries would never let me suspect it. How would this poor girl will understand"🤣🤣🤣

And I realized, as a viewer, how my view is biased. Because I have seen his point of view, his journey of falling in love and his denial as well. So for us who are following this journey, he may seem as love sick, smitten etc. But a neutral viewer may perceive different. And that is exactly what has kept the wow factor of this character intact.

When we think he's changed. He really isn't. He's the same Aryan I saw before him falling for imlie. And the way he hides his emotions except the few slips in between where his facade slips involuntarily and unconsciously due to the intensity of his love, That's what Aryan is.

If you ask me, did I hate his words today? Ofcourse I did. As much as I hated imlie's words during wedding track. But here I'm relieved. Because the Aryan Singh Rathore I have come to love has a nasty habit of messing with his words. But he also knows when he's wrong, accepts and rectifies his mistake with utmost sincerity which I have no hope from Imlie.

So if you ask me if he's butchered. I'll say absolutely not!

You see. These slips, impulsive acts which we deem out of character actually make him as real as possible. He's a human with his own set of weaknesses. And with these, we have him not the mahaanta ki moorti like imlie. And I love that about him. It leaves room for his character's growth and makes him more endearing.

Lastly, we need this track because we can't have a 50-50 partnership everytime. There has be some conflict, some angst for their relationship to grow. And personally I prefer that catalyst to be themselves against their own insecurities rather than a pesky villain like BM.

not butchered.. it isn't that serious what he said.. it's very normal between couples.. he was already peeded off at imlie rooting Sundar for arpi.. if not he always listened to her.. only that writers are keeping him dumb by not making him suspect Uday, that is the only butchering of his character.. n viewers r expecting him to back imlie everytime.. he has no reason to believe arpi isn't happy as there was no pressure on her to agree for the marriage.. I wish imlie too tries to see things from his pov n understand his state of mind.. if imlie is put in such situation she too would've shouted at aryan even worse to stay away..

Aryan will apologize but imlie also need to understand where her relation with aryan stands, how long can imlie expect to have rights as his wife with no idea of progressing their relation..

Actually the butchering is that he isnt suspecting uday.

Otherwise i am fine with him taunting imlie ,that girl taunted him left and write. She is getting it back.

Agreed..I expected him to suspect and do good background check of Uday. It's arrange marriage how can he blindly trust BM.

I can actually understand why he doesn't trust Imlie and asks her to stay away from his family. How they got married we all know and how obsessed is Imlie for T family is not hidden to him either. T family has just gone but they never showed that she realised T family was not her family...

Imlie never accepted this marriage whole heartedly than how can this become her family..I am 💯 with Aryan here, it's time for Imlie to prove she is actually family.. something she has done only for T family...

Even i feel Aryan's character is not butcherd coz he is doing what he understood by Imlie's behaviour... She is the one who always want to stay away from him... Just yesterday she said that she cares for Arpi and kaki maa... But stopped midway when Aru came... She is stuck at a point where she can't just accept Aryan as her Husband... She is stuck where her amma told rather ordered her to Marry Aryan.. and she just can't accept Him... And for this these words are much needed co she can't think of her as HIS family... He even said today that agar tumhari shadii tumhari marzi k khilaf hui ha to is ka matlab ye nhi k sab k sath aisa ho... Aryan has an idea that Imlie and amma had a problem during wedding because of him ..

Now Imlie has to prove that She is also his family...

Excited me .. if cvz handle this track to make them ( read Imlie) realize the Importance of each other in this husband wife relation...

Lol nice 1 dear. If you ask me butchered or not I will say a big NO. He is the most always in the character in this serial. Now why I said this?

1. He actually never considered Imlie as his family. He might marry her or having new feelings like love but he didn't admit it at any cost. For him nothing much changed. Imlie first had a single room in his house but now she shares his room with a platonic relationship. She cared for his family before as well. Remember he didn't trust that she couldn't help his sister from pyrophobia not because he doesn't trust her character but at the end of the day she was an outsider. And even today he believes in it to some extent, you can't suddenly accept someone aa family just because you are married to that person. Her identity for him is still a girl living with them like before, she indeed cares for them but not to the extent she can exercise her opinions as an intimate family member can. It is only reserved to the members born in that family or the elders. His stop meddling with my family was justified because still now he hadn't accepted the change in their relationship, Imlie's relationship with this family is from him so without having any relationship with him Imlie can never claim this family as hers. That's why we never saw Imlie calling Narmada mom or Neela bari maa because even she wants to consider Aryan just as a friend or a best friend but nothing more.

2. Even not checking Uday guy's background is also his character only. Now you may ask me why did I say this? It's coz it's pretty evident that Aryan never cross checks. When Anu called him in the Hotel with Imlie and the whole track that lead to Adilie divorce was the result of him not cross checking a random call from an anonymous in names of business. He never crosschecked whether Aditya was the sole reason for his jiju's death. Also he never crosschecked which neighbor sent police to their house thinking that a thief(Aditya) has came in. This guy can make plans full proof but wouldn't realize he could end up being a chess piece in someone else's plan.

A person who didn't doubt an anonymous who never came for business or never let Imlie ponder how they were there in that same hotel after malini said she sent the divorce paper(it was obvious that she got those papers before as a plan) would never think that a tacky over-the-top relative whom he saw from childhood would pull such a stunt. For him his bari maa is weird but not a villain yet.

3. What would have been real butchering?

If Aryan had turned sweet post marriage out of blue and starts believing everything Imlie says just coz she had the Rathore surname like them. Now he is fully in character straight in and straight out questioning, judging, not accepting, not believing her and even not opening his doors for Imlie.

Calling a few to ask to share opinions on my thoughts🤗

It's just that he has hurt her where it hurts her the most

Acceptance has been her problem since she was born then the whole tripathi fiasco

Ofcourse Armitage di her marriage is too sensitive topic for him and he is retaliating

But for once I want aryan to apologize profusely
