The problem is many fans of Aryan got into watching episodes and have not seen the story from start.... so they have seen Aditya as a selfish guy..

no fault of theirs.. but this episode 8 shows the problem where Imlie herself prolonged the mess.. Same mess she is doing now with her marriage with Aryan... maybe this is how show moves on and on..

Makers always have a reasoning towards this track also .. So if in future also they come with any reasoning for current change in track I will not be surprised

No that story... Rishi kapoor never likes Radhika for her looks.. Here Aditya fallen for Imlie right from 2nd or 3rd episode after forced marriage... no color biases here... Imlie was treated with respect by both Aditya and Aryan.. this is one single positive continuity throughout.. yes woh suspicion, doubt woh sab chalta rahega... episode kaise aage badhege...

infact Aditya literally left the show when he was shown to be talking nasty about Imlie and now also Aditya has exited..

so literally all men respected and loved Imlie..

this is the best part of this whole show...

It is all about understanding the soreness and sweetness of Imlie with a statutory warning 'too much consumption of Imlie is dangerous for health and mind'

Aditya being rude to Imlie had no bearing on her ability to defy her marriage and return to PD. Aditya even offered her many opportunities when he offered to return her to PD himself. He tried to give her money too but she refused. She was the one who chose to accept him as a husband despite everything.

How do you define agency? I suppose agency for you is blackmailing a girl into marriage after buying her off with a financial debt you know she will never be able to repay. Agency is offering a girl (whose selfless tendencies you are very well aware of) the ‘deal’ to marry you or see her ex husband being framed in a case by you. Agency is doing 6 pheras on her behalf and giving her the ‘choice’ to complete the final one under duress. Is that what looks like agency to you?😊

Btw since you were kind enough to bring in bigamy again, I’ll say something I’ve been meaning to for a long time.

Bigamy means the act of marrying someone while being married to another person, yes? Assuming that marriage is a contract that unites the lives of two people physically, emotionally, socially and legally, Aditya never fulfilled that contract with Imlie while he was married to Malini. Therefore, he was never a bigamist in practice when he could have very easily taken the two sisters for a ride.
