Imlie's monologue piqued my interest.

The look in her eyes as she watches him throughout the ceremony. I don't know how to describe it with anything other than hope. Kya tum phir se humari mann ki baat samajte ho? She's admitting that the doors to her heart aren't fully closed to him. She just wants him to be honest. She wants them to be Aryan&Imlie but for the right reasons.
This entire situation has them on warring sides. She's fighting against him and regardless of how he sees it, he's fighting against her free will. Imlie's accepted his hatred for Aditya because she knows it's rooted in trauma but it's his methods that put her on edge. The lies, the trapping, the scheming. It turns him into someone far viler than he is.
I saw a post on Twitter about the 31st March episode where it showed that this was the first time Imlie wrapped her arms around him while he carried her. I wanted to see the significance in that but I couldn't because well, she quite literally landed in his grasp so holding onto him could've been an automatic response. But today, when he carried her to complete the pheras, she did it again. She held onto him and closed her eyes, letting her fate decide what happens next. But was she really giving up? No. In the earlier monologue, she said she was still fighting and I think this is part of it. She's fighting to see if the man she trusts is still in there. She was giving him a chance to be the man she knows he is. Before she was fighting with him but here, she's fighting for them.

The stark difference between these two Imlies. One's leaving him because she's heartbroken, believing that the man she deemed her partner in crime was using her, was a facade. She hated leaving him, leaving the Rathores. The other Imlie is leaving the mandap with solace and relief. She's leaving with her AKB back and a second wind has hit her world. The inner conflict she's been bearing these last few days is over!
Earlier, every time the marriage was about to end, we saw Imlie grin with excitement, it was such an obvious expression. But here, her reaction was much more subtle. It was as if a realization was going on in her head. When Aryan finally turned around, he saw all of Imlie's jewellery and wedding glam on the floor and while that might've hurt him, it was her truth because Imlie isn't someone who likes to be decked up. Especially here when all that glamour symbolized the pressures that would've forced her to marry him or the hearts this marriage was toying with. I think it would've reassured him that he's finally making the right call.
Likewise, Aryan's conscience and his decision to set her free show he's fighting for them too. He asked her if she was hurting too much or can stand alone. When she said yes, he trusted her to choose her own path and make the decision that was best for her. While that seems selfless, it isn't entirely, cause what's best for her makes him the happiest too.
Look at the attire his conscience is in. It's the attire Aryan wore when Arvind was alive, when Aryan was his most liberated and loving self. This is the Aryan he's been hiding under his stone eyes, glamour, and anger. This is the Aryan that Imlie's presence invited back and this is the Aryan he let her see fully today, in his eyes.
The war is over. They're on the side same, marriage or no marriage, they're back to being their true selves, not clouded by emotions or fears or trauma.
