I would also recommend Keun Ruk Salub Chata (super acting from all four leads with a touch of supernatural) as well as Ra Raerng Fai (absolute clash of strong wills)

As for Aditya, I really hope the creatives figure it out. Otherwise, Aryan's revenge plan will just be kaput and a huge arc for him will not be there. 🤞🏽

Not sure why they hotch-potched up the story line but yes the shaadi seems very out of syllabus as you put it. The show is a classic example of opportunity wasted. They could have shown Imlie moving on in life, working towards her college education, focusing on her career and nice slow burn but fiery romance track with Aryan. I mean when they fight all i see is chemistry. But nope, shaadi. Lord knows which generation they are focusing the story at because only 50+ somethings have such regressive thought processes.

I feel that that the adini shaadi was more of a build up for arylie.. if u notice they got haldi mehandi danger everything hinting their marriage in the future.. and their own wedding they made it more of a subdued one as they are in hate mode now.. I feel sometime in future may be if arpita sunder marry and if arylie equation has changed by then we might get the real marriage stuff between them.. for the fact that this is a half hearted marriage dance etc would look out of place..

But again u could be right... at some point makers dint know how to introduce this marriage esp after gashmeer also left the show and now we have a new lead to take over and ppl r liking the new pair too and want to watch more of them so the story had to move to them.. with mansavi quitting I feel the character will also exit and may be the show will move to rathore family and rest might bid a bye.. or they get a replacement for aditya and give him a negative shade to balance arylie story.. gul shows are known for handling their leads well so I hope they dont mess this pair..

I completely agree with you. There's a certain dissonance in the writing and just with the character arcs and plot points which put all the events happening per rasam in a loop as opposed to a plot progression. There's a lack of forethought with the way they went in to rush in a forced wedding.

And the fact that Aditya is invisible - due to whom the wedding was happening in the first place - feels like a solid missed opportunity of cultivating him into a grey shaded character and an antagonist.

We are definitely seeing them putting a promo ahead of time, gauging audience reaction and feedback and seeing how to churn things?

Ugh I can't imagine the pressure on the writers when they have to change the course of things due to external pressure. Staying true to the characters does the main trick!

I too feel like, though the marriage was already in their cards, the way they have executed it is not how they had planned it. Going by the instaposts of the actress who play the character of BM, she had shot scenes with sarees we haven't seen in the show - atleast of 2 color shades. And also with the way they have rushed the other functions, especially the Sangeet ceremony without a dance (😲 as per ITV standards) shows, the marriage track was preponed for some reason.
