If the bride swap idea turns out to be Imlie's hare-brained idea then it means Imlie has developed a terrible habit of giving away her husbands to some other girl then later regretting it and scrambling to get them back. She did it with Aditya and Malini. She herself handed Aditya to Malini on their wedding day, even giving away her wedding chunri in the process. This time though if she really initiates the bride swap with BD then I'm jumping ship and going team Baby Doll. I'll hope Aryan finds out it's BD he is marrying and still completes the final rituals with her. Let Imlie experience the pain and the angst of realising later that she is in love with Aryan and she herself married him off to someone else.
