I felt somewhat like our Aru is back. In the past couple of episode when he was giving teesri baat udhaars, some of them were not clear even to me. The best part about his teesri baats is the fact that Audience can immediately guess what he has left unsaid. Iss forced marriage ke first kuch episodes me some of the teesri baats even I could not decipher what he left unsaid to I was Ok if Imlie was cluless as well. But Holi and after that he has again been pretty clear.
Holi: ye shaadi, ye challenge aur tumhaara ---- he meant dil.
Megendi: Tumhaari aasmaan, Tumhaari zameen, tumhaare --- dil.
Shaadi: Tumhe saath, Haq ----- pyaar.
Today: maa smile, didi daant, tumhaare --- Aansu.
With this I have a theory. I think the reason Aru is doing doing gol gol baatein with Imlie and not expressing what he is actually feeling is because he is scared. Imlie has not given any indication that she is over AKT. In fact, her concern for her ex in last episode even made me question is she really over him? Aru fears that if he confesses, she will reject and say she still loves her ex and that would break him. He is being selfish here. He thinks if this marriage happens for real, he will give her everything that her ex could not give her and more and hopefully then she will fall in love with him. The way he is going at it is wrong but that nightmare in the hospital has him in a chokehold. Aru will not confess anything to her soon and Imlie is not smart enough to figure it out on her own. This MU will be dragged after wedding and we will keep seeing Imlie being a rebel and Aru trying to do stuff to make her realise. As much as we want to see a cold Aru, I don't think it is coming any time soon.

imlie hasn’t even looked at him decently for days now, he’d bear all that, but what truly broke him in the end is she wouldn’t talk to him, hasn’t said a word to him in thirty seven hours, even if to fight.
There are two different things haunting them here. They’re both hovering over the truth , but in different ways. I do not think Aryan knows how far gone he is, poor boy doesn’t even think he has a chance if she had a choice. He’s still stuck in that dream from the hospital, and has only been trying to prevent it in terribly wrong ways, with no sense, without even retrospecting why is the possibility of Imlie departing so hurtful, that he’d choose ways so unlike him, only to hold on? What are you hoping for, here?
And Imlie! Imlie’s only been wanting to hear one reason, any reason other than the revenge. but what is it you really want to hear? I mean, she’s been asking him all this while to tell her why he’s doing this if not for revenge, when there’s only one right answer.
