Chap 28

One afternoon while in library she got a call from an unknown number. She picked it up , “Madam aap Imlie hai?”

“Ji”

“Madam aapke husband ka accident hogaya hai” she froze . Her worst nightmare came true.

She ran to the hospital mentioned by the guy who called her. Police was there as well. It was hit and run case. Imlie stood there, while doctor worked on him. She died thousands death. Suddenly she remembered his words, Aakash. He had threaten , kahi usne hi toh.. oh my god oh my god ye kya hogaya because of me, Aru is hurt i should have taken care of that guy. Aru please be okay she talked to herself. She stayed outside on the bench whole night. He was fine but doctor said she cannot go inside until tomorrow. So she stayed there not blinking an eye worry on her face. Next morning, she went inside she sat there hold his hand. “I am sorry Aru i can never forgivr myself. I will make everything alright. Am going to kill that ba****. Just be okay “ she cried keeping her forhead on his palm.

“Hi baby”he said softly as he gained consciousness. Imlie looked up and caress his head, “Are you in pain? I am sorry”

“Why are you sorry? And stop ye rona dhona am ok it was just an accident”

“No it wasnt”

“Matlab”

“Kuch nai please jald thik hona hai ab rest karo am going home to make you some home cooked food” she kissed him and left.

Chacha had gone to village, so Imlie had to go and make food. She didnt want him eating hospital food. While she was in kitchen, she heard something in living room, she went to peek and he was there. She went in got the knife,

“You! I am going to kill you” before she could attack he grabbed her and twisted her hand and turned her around. “Tch Tch havnt learned your lesson. Told you, bichara Aryan” he whispers in her ear. She struggled to get free but he was too strong. “Chodo mujhe” and he pushed her , she fell near the knife. She almost cut her hand. She cried sitting there feeling helpless. She got up still crying and continued her cooking. She will have to tell Aryan this cannot go on, his life is at risk. But first she needs to take care of him the. She will tell him all the truth.

Imlie didnt go college for week even though Aryan insisted, she was by his side continously. She was pampering him but Aryan noticed there is worry other than him on her face. Her weight has drastically reduced. He needs to do something before this fine piece of his fall sick.

Once Imlie was satisfied about his health, she told him everything. He was shocked that she been hiding this for long, “Imlie?? Really i thought we will share everything. You been hiding? Woh tumhe kuch karleta to? Have you thought about me?” Anger rising in his voice.

“Thats why i did not tell you. I didnt want you to worry” she looked down in guilt.

“Imlie whoever that guy is he is dangerous, we are going to police. And if he is the one behind accident then..” he looked at her disappointed

“I am sorry i thought it was empty threat “ she was guilt ridden. Nothing can save her from herself .

“Imlie” feeling bad for scolding her “Imlie, you hve to tell me eveything . We are one. Pagal tumhe kuch ho jata to. All the possibilities right now going on my head if you had continued to hide” she kept her head on his chest feeling defeated.

“Chalo we will take care of this” she nodded and followed his cue.

Next day, they went to police and filed an FIR. The authorities said they will go and get the guy from college. She gave them the description beside first name she didnt know anything about him. Imlie felt little relieved . Aryan wasnt as mad as she thought he would be.

Thank god he is not angry on her and i just hope they get that man akash as soon as possible

A hurt Aryan 😭. Really curious as to who this person is and why is he after Imlie and Aryan! But I'm really glad she spoke to Aryan and they are going to take action against this person.

Chap 29.

That evening cops came and told them that there is no guy as Aakash in college. They had showed the sketch around but nobody recognized him. After they left, “Shayad wo college ka ho hi na Aru, he just comes there as student to bother me?”

“Hmm ho sakta hai. For now all i know you doing classes from home and not going there until they find himl” he said sternly.

“Aur ha kahi bhi jana ho not without asking me got it?” He ordered

“What? Are you making prisoner here now? What am i going to do here all day beside studies and tum mujhe na hi bolne wale ho kahi bhi jane ko bolungi plus you wont be home half day. “

“Ek baar boldia na Imlie? I dont want argument” He stood there with his hand folded across his chest.

“No! Am not a child Aru. Mein jaungi and i dont have to ask you each everytime!”

“Imlie i dont want any discussion on this and if dare go against on this matter mujhse bura koi nai hoga” he yelled at her. Tears threatned to spill.

“You are being overprotective Aru. Its suffocating! Kyu nai jaa sakti! Ab tak kuch nai hua infact you should work from home he attacked you not me!” She yellled back at him.

“Exactly my point! He attacked me but i dont want him to attack you now!! And itni fikar thi meri you could have told me about him in first place ! “

Imlie stood there deeply hurt at his statement.

“So you think kahi na kahi i am responsible for your attack? Because i was too scared to tell you? Because i worried too much about you?”

“Jo samaj na hai samjo Imlie but you are not going anywhere !” Before leaving the scene he kicked the table near by . Imlie sat down on floor not knowing what to do anymore.

She wants to nab that guy herself but now Aru is being too stubborn. And somehwere he is right if i had told him earlier, maybe he wouldnt be attacked.

At night , she went to their bedroom and got her pillow and blanket and went to guest room and Aryan didnt stop her. In middle of night, she heard something, she got up and saw a shadow.

She went and he was here again watching her , she screamed and ran to bedroom , Aryan was already waken up by her scream. “He is here “ he got up quickly but when they came in room nobody was there.

“He was here” she whispered.

“ you are tired Imlie go back to sleep” and Aru went back leaving Imlie alone.

What is going on with her? She stayed up all night, she realized something about herself. All that inicdents with Aakash most of the time he comes when she is alone the only time somebody must have seen is the cafe incident. Cctv! Why she didnt thought of it before, she will go tomorrow and get the footage it will be evidence as well. But Aryan? Not going to tell him or ask him for permission to leave the house.

Next morning, both avoided each other and went on their business. Aryan left for the office, and Imlie quickly changed and decided to pay visit at her pizza place.

I knew it there is no person... It's just her imagination bcoz of all domestic violence she had suffer her mental health... Is there a real person or she is suffering from mental illiness

Chap 30

It took convincing for manager to show her the CCTV but she finally did it. He left her alone in office as she went through all videos finally she found the date and it shook her to the core when she played it. There was nobody there, she was

Acting up in the cafe and talking and fighting aa if sombody is there same when she went outside now she understood why people were looking at her amazed.

She started sweatinf, she was loss of words she called the manager thanked and left from there

Embarassed. Imlie ! Ye kya ho raha hai matlab.. no.. matlab cops ka kehna nobody like that person… She grabbed her hair in frustration, she went to her college near the pond hoping he shows up and prove her wrong.

After half hour, he showed up..”Kyu chok rahi ho? Mera intezaar bhi karti ho aur darr chehre pe Tch tch” he came closer

“How come CCTV.. accident” she wasnt making sense anymore.

“Jo hai hi nai wo cctv mein ayega kaise”

“Matlab?”

“Matalb apne dimag se pucho” He traced a finger on her cheeks and she pushed it away.

He laughed and went away walking. She went after him pushing him on ground, she started punching him , for hurting her Aru, her hands were bleeding why wasnt he retaliating? But she kept going. Suddenly somebody grabbed her from behind, “Madam rukye madam!” She came out of her trance and looked at the watchman.

“Ye aap zamin ko bar bar kyu maar rahi ho?” Shocked at her behavior watching looked at her little scared.

She looked down and he wasnt there her kunckles were bleeding bruised.

“Kya madam jaye yaha se chalye” he gestured her to go away. She walked back to the road. She was in shock and dazed. Her head is pounding, she sobs she muffles her scream.

She needs to go to the doctor.

That evening, Aryan was waiting for her pissed at her leaving the place. She didnt care she didnt hear a word of his scolding. “Imlie i am talking to you “ he shook her shoulder.

“Why dont you ever listen?!Imlie!!” He shook her again.

Without replying, she pushed him really hard, he staggered behind appalled at her actions.

“LEAVE ME ALONE OR I MIGHT HARM YOU!!” And she left locking herself in room.

Aryan kept knocking at door worried at her outbursts. He kept calling her softly , “Baby am sorry, are you ok?? Open karo please look at you look at us what is going on? Please open i promise i wont shout” he pleaded but Imlie sat on bed shutting the voices. She had gone to doctor and they did some tests, she will have to go tomorrow until then she wants to be left alone.

That night she kept thinking, her body was shivering as if in fear. Fear of Aakash , fear of losing the only person she loves the most. Her hallucinations yes she know she is hallucinating what is reality? What is not? She woke up to get water and found Aru near door sleeping.

She immediately hugged him waking him up.

“Baby, am sorry but never do that i could have break the door but i somehow i knew you needed space” he said in one go groggily.

“Sssh” she caressed his face she grabbed his hand and took him to their bedroom. They slept cuddling each other no more words needed. Imlie looked at him while he slept. Things she can do for him, she smiled.

Poor imlie she is suffering from mental illiness and finally she got to know about that... Feeling bad for aaru also kuch bhi nhi kar paa rha hai apne imlie ke liye.. Once he get to know what actually happened he will do something to overcome from this otherwise he will lose her day by day... Right
