Chap 26

It started two weeks ago, a student who was not even in her class started bothering her. He must be one or two younger than her , he had boyish look but his features were way too familiar. He looked like on of the tripathis.

He had got caught hold of her when she was reading chapter around a small pond that was near back of the college. She used to come here often more than the library she found peace here and she could do her studies and assignment here. Suddenly she found someone sitting next to her. She squirmed and looked on the side “Hi My name is Aakash” extending his hand but something about his eyes told Imlie to not extend her hand.

When she didnt respond, “I see. Seems apko dosti karna pasand nai hai. I been watching you..” he said.

“Excuse me?” A little shocked at his statement

“Khair just wanted to say “ he came near her she backed her head still in daze and confused at the scene infront of her. “Ke aap bohut khoobsurat hai” and with that he went.

She was breathing hard, still in shock. Once she gathered herself , so many thoughts ran in her mind. Who was he? Why the hell is he watching me? How come i didnt attack him back? Maybe too shock of sudden behavior of this stranger? His looks are familiar… That was her first meeting him.

In next two weeks, he would pass by her and wink with that evil smirk, she wanted to give piece of her mind when they are alone. She didnt want to make scene. She was too frustrated and that day she had fight with Aryan for silly reason - his clothes around the room. Poor Aryan she scratched him, it must have hurt him bad. But they had made up. He had been busy and she too and little time they get she didnt want to tell him about this encounter. Anyways he talked to her only once other than he would pass by her either winking, or smile. Next time, he is going to get it from her.

Misunderstanding and lack of communication is a recipe for disaster! Hope they decide to talk about their fight as things don't take a dangerous turn with this new character!

Chap 27

Imlie was different person at home and at college a different person. Finally one day, that Aakash guy caught her again near the pond same place but different time. “I am going to hurt your husband” he whispered in her ears. She panicked and got up to slap him but he was nowhere around. He was too quick to run away she thought. She texted Aryan casually, Hi Aru I miss you.

He replied with a kiss and that relieved her. She went to work that evening. He was sitting there eating pizza. Nobody else was present except her co worker. She decided to confront him.

“Look Mr.I had enough with your nonsense. You been following me and now threatned me about my husband. Dont even dare! “ she grabbed his collar. He just laughed like manic unfazed by her. “ darr gai?” He whispered

She slapped him, “who are you?! Did Aaditya send you?? huh?? You have their features.. tell me!!” She slapped him again but he just laughed. Some bystanders looked at her amazment on their face. She didnt care right now he dared threatned her about Aryan she wasnt going to let him go. “Wait am going to call police” with that she went inside to grab her phone. By the time she came out he was gone. That ought to do it. She was suprised, her conworker didnt come out from back office. “Hey Aamna, yeh banda” she came out and looked at Imlie as if she is crazy.

“Kya hua Imlie why are you hyper? And what banda?? Yaha koi customer nai aaya ek ghante se” she said shrugging. “You are tired Imlie college work, home you have too much going on my advice quit this job and focus on ur studies”

Imlie just listened to her and fall back against the wall. Damn! Then how did he get here then and that pizza? He got from outside his tactics arent going to work. She needs to do something.

Aryan started noticing a little change in Imlie behavior, she has started to become more anxious, more aggressive sometimes he decided he need to talk to her plus the less time they are spending together might be another reason.

He went home early told kaka to make different type of chaat . Imlie came home by 10 her face was dull and lost. He went to her, cupped her cheeks “Imlie” she didnt respond. “Imlie”

“Oh ha Aru, sorry so tired was thinking about my exam next week” Aru didnt press further . “Go freshen up , then we will have dinner.

She nodded and left. After 15 minutes, they sat down on table and ate. Aru was constantly looking at her, he touched her hand she looked up with a smile. “Aru I miss you . “ she said blushing. “Yea right! You hardly have time by the time you come you are exhausted. Please quit your work and just focus on studies.” He was very concerned. “I know Aru”

“Look at you Imlie you are not the same, your face is dull, i always see you anxious I am hell worried Imlie. And am pretty sure your food habits are out of window” raising his eyebrows. Imlie looked down feeling guilty. “I was thinking to quit too Aru. I want to spend time with you.”

“Is there anything else bothering you?” He asked

“No”

“Are you sure Imlie, because knowing you , you are one strong individual and this kind of pressure cannot put you down . Please tell me Imlie dont hide definitely something is going on” he pushed his chair next to her and traced her cheeks with his finger.

“No your getting worried for no reason. There is nothing i cannot handle you know that if it was serious I would have told you” she kissed him and continued eating.

Aryan couldnt argue further and for now he has to trust what she says. Atleast she is agreeing to quit her job and hope that can bring some change.
