Let's not forget the workplace harassment. Then he let's him get off in exchange for a fake marriage with Imlie? WTF is this? I honestly don't think he ever meant anything more than professional ruin of Aditya by his badla.

He, in fact, gave fair chances to AKT as a boss too. I think shit went down when Arpita and he nearly died again due to AKT and he had the nightmare.

The supress your pain and work hard approach is really shitty and does not work. He's basically reacting out of four years of supressed trauma. Honestly, he's using badla as a strawman to get Imlie to do what he wants, this bast-rd. 🤬

But then again, his illusion of choice notwithstanding, this girl could have chosen herself over that incestous family at least thrice, why won't she? Ugh.

Both are such idiots.

I can't stop laughing at the fact that Aditya is so easy to be jailed 🤣Aryan quite literally has the road paved to ruin Aditya's future without even involving himself in the first place.

A convo between Blue and Aryan

Aryan: I will put negligence on AKT

Blue: YOU DON'T HAVE TO INVENT A CHARGE, HE IS ALREADY LIABLE FOR BIGAMY/LIBEL/MOB INCITEMENT

Aryan: ... oh

The End

A convo between Blue and Imlie

Imlie: That family has stood for me! Which family happily gives away their bahu? They treated me more than their bahu.

Blue: Why would you expect resistance from them?

Imlie: Because I was married to their son.

Blue: So you expect resistance despite being divorced? Your loyalty should still stay with Aditya? That's not beti like. That's bahu like.

Imlie: ...

Blue: Ever wonder why they decided to finally not let you be at Aditya's beck and call once you ended up married with Aryan?

Imlie: ...

Blue: You have never chosen yourself first Imlie. Don't expect the world would do that if you can't do it for yourself.

*mic drop*

*Aryan wondering who's mentoring Imlie better than him*

*Blue's own theme song plays and she whips out a sunglass out of thin air*

Well your analysis is to the point, i agree with all your points, but in some places I beg to differ, you said that asr and Khushi find salutation of the problem together but I don’t remember anything except kidnapping track and Shyam truth revealing track Arnav and Khushi work together, like in Sheetal track Arnav don’t inform Khushi single thing till the last moment, but for Aryan he knows imlie is young and impulsive but let her do the things she want if that not hammered her well-being like in mirchi bazaar when imlie wants to rescue all the girls he let her do that he and in panna pari episode also he let her help them in their hygiene related issues helped her because he acknowledged imlie is 19 years old which Arnav never does for Khushi. And second point is where you Arnav want Khushi to be practically independent but I don’t see him encouraging Khushi in that matter but he does make fun of Khushi’s dabba business after Sheetal track in Diwali episode yes he makes her owner of dabba business but at same say her she can’t do anything things of her own that the reason she went to mrs india contest but other side Aryan encourage imlie to do something for her career, in current track which is crap but he is challenging imlie to do something and stop the marriage.

But thanks for the good analysis it was just amazing that both the character are same but different at the same times.

The point of this discussion was comparison. Not to rate who's better :)

Hello, thanks for liking the analysis and thank you for commenting!

My point was to highlight both the characters and their flaws and strengths. These are just about different characters :)

We haven't seen many points in Arnav and Khushi's relationship where they have to deal with something together - they often are at differences with each other. However moments that require two people to work together; Akash and Payal's marriage, throwing Shyam out, kidnapping - they work together regardless of differences.

Arnav always sees Khushi as his equal, the age gap and therefore her sheltered viewpoint is not something he considers. He tries understanding Khushi but often her views are a direct contraction to who he is as a person so he can't understand much. As I said, Arnav requires other people's rationale to match his to understand somethings whereas Aryan realises people have a different way of viewing the world. Aryan is more mature. I think it has to do with the fact that he had a pretty decent childhood.

Aryan and Imlie are always, undoubtedly, solving things together because most of the times Aryan's goal is to help Imlie and his goals have never come against Imlie's life path until now - the wedding track.

And Aryan is a feminist (until now) but Arnav isn't - he's a liberal. He wants to financially secure Khushi in the event of his death. Aryan just wants Imlie to prosper regardless. I think that's what fascinated me about Aryan is he's incredibly empathetic and can want someone to do good in life.

And by the end of IPK I don't consider a lot of things canon because I don't know if they got a separate set of writers or something but Arnav and Khushi's characters were majorly butchered Khushi wanting to burst firecrackers, Arnav disrespecting Khushi out of the blue... *character growth down the drain*

You understand bad writing where characters are doing something inconsistent only to bring in a plot point.

Which is what's happening in Imlie. Aryan is being written out of character so they can introduce the forced marriage track. The issue that's happening with Aryan though right now is he's gotten a bit too much into the savior complex and he's taking away Imlie's agency that strips the part of his character where he's a feminist. I sincerely hope they make things better cause I really love his personality.
