What is love without trust, respect, and self worth?

I have watched Imlie on and off. This question always comes to my mind. What is love without trust, respect, and self worth? I guess, it's just a word with no meaning.

Malini has forgotten her morals, self worth, self respect, for her love/obsession for Aditya.

Imlie forgets her self respect, self worth, and respect for others, when it comes to Aditya or his family. In the beginning of the show, Aditya disrespected her, humiliated her, and what not, yet she fell in love with him. Aditya's family has also done the same numerous time, yet she can't stop caring for them.

I know yaar it’s frustrating to see Imlie run back to Tripathi - he is married and ughhhh 😡😡😡

I feel bad for Aryan - he is falling for Imlie - the emotional brain washed fool

This is exactly what I have been saying. Love was a mere word thrown around, not backed by ANYTHING. There was no worth behind the word ‘love’. Pretty awful honestly.

But aruji toh imlie ko sabse achchese samajhti hai. Imlie bs se hi pyaar karti hai voh jaanta hai. Par dil pe kisi ka zore nahi chalta.

I think Imlie has always been love starved. She’s craved a large extended family that would give her the relationships and titles she never had. Yes she had meethi but still as an unmarried mother with an illegitimate child, with a grandmother that dispises her and sees Imlie as an extension of a “paap” she never got to belong to one place.

so she bent over backwards for the tripathi’s, and soaked up ever bit of affection she could, even as the help. That affection reserved for the help turned into poison and she still drank it in.

the irony of it all is that aru’s family has given her unconditional love, they’ve never seen her as lesser or the help. Narmada envisions her beloved son with Imlie, whereas Arpana couldn’t fathom her son with Imlie.

the contrast is so clear, Imlie just can’t see it yet.

I watched show from starting to adi-malini marriage and started again after aryan entry.

I am afraid... show writers...will not let aryan-imli end together... as itv never lets FL move on even any kind of abusive first love/spouse was... she goes back to him at the end!!!

I really really wish....writers end imli-aryan together... I meant... I want imli choses aryan over tripathis and trash aditya....

(sorry fans... he wants to stay with malini , enjoys her status.... and also want imli to stay away from aryan( or any other).. wants imli around him too (as a kept ?????) 😡

I understand that ITV wants a certain type of female lead behavior but its TOXIC and needs to change. Women are not doormats, ki jab chahe nikal diya and jab chahe accept kar liya. Agar is show me they get Imlie and Adi back together then what is the point of making female centric shows, the show could have been Jhoolta Pendulum Patrakar.
