Exactly! It dragged on and on. But we watched cause every day there were Arylie moments to look forward to. But near the end when there were fewer of those moments and most of us started getting bored because the story wasn’t even moving.

Since the wedding it’s been a cycle of the same old. So it’s nice they’re finally trying to get back on track to move things along. Probably sped along by the fact that they don’t have GM for much longer and they need to wrap up whatever they need while he’s still here.

I do think the smart thing would be if he was to disappear and then reappear with a new face. Everyone can act like it was always him. It’ll be too jarring to have him be played by one actor today and another tomorrow (even though I know this happens often. In American soaps you’d have an actor change and some guy would just do a voiceover saying “the role of x is now being played by y”).

Also I've noticed a few things about Imlie recently. Whenever Aru does/says something for her, the way she looks at him is like she's trying to find something in his eyes, like why he's doing what he's doing & when Aryan senses that he steps back leaving her all puzzled. Be it the chilly eating scene or when she asked him to say something to cheer her up & even today when she said "tum gussa kahe karat ho?"

And I feel everytime Aryan sees some hope/expectation in her eyes he just builds those walls around him again. I don't think it's bcoz he feels that she still loves Adi. Today she made it pretty clear that her going to T house isn't out of love but out of concern for his family & safety. So why is Aryan not taking that extra step?? Mujhe lagta hai it's bcoz he's scared that he's way too broken/sad from inside that he won't be able to love her as much. I don't think it's about Adi anymore it's more about his self doubt probably.

Aryan needs a reality check as much as Imlie at this point. I really want her to call him out on blurring those professional & personal boundaries as per his convenience but when she asks for something he very cleverly draws those boundaries again. Ab na zyada ho rha h iska.

Omg. I love this. Aryan doesn’t know if he can love her like she deserves, doesn’t know if he has it in him to give so he doesn’t want her to have any expectations around him cause the last thing he would want is for him to be the cause of any of her pain.

Stepping back isn't about her... It's about him. And it's not like he was looking for a romantic relationship with her from the start and kept himself in check only because of her past.

It's more like she unknowingly started cracking those walls so it's uncomfortable for him to allow something that's not completely as per his wish... He's a total control freak mostly because he hates not being in control because of past incidents.

Also imlie calling him out would give a new turn to this unsaid relationship because then few more cards will be open... Maybe a 2-way friendship??? We never know Inka kuchh karane se pehle shadi na kara de makers 😒
