This is the moment Imlie also knew that she f*cked up. Looking at Aryan, she knew that not only Aru didn't expect this from her but that she needn't bear pain in the name of love.

Another thing she realised, methinks, is that Aru wouldn't rescind his love/concern as a punishment for whenever she disappoints him. That there's actually no judgement on his part.

Yes, absolutely. If the reveal had happened in a scene where Aditya was begging and grovelling for forgiveness with professions of love, there could have been a possibility that Imlie would consider him after the big reveal. Here he continues to prove what a jerk he is with his words and actions and next moment the truth of the divorce papers is out. So, what? She will jump back to him pretending their current conversation and mudslinging didn’t happen and they will both be happy?

Right now, I won't be surprised if she takes a page out of Aryan's book of sassily savage and thanks Malini for being the cause of her freedom from this good-for-only-obituary-section journalist. 🤣

I really do hope the reason for the reveal is for her to move on knowing full well what transpired. I hope it strengthens her resolve. He gave up SO easily on them.

I do also hope that the storytelling impetus for this is to have fewer doubts with Imlie moving on.

I think Aditya was responsible for today's shitshow. Like Charishma said, she was triggered by his willful triggering. He's the one jo tharki jijaon ki tarah brought up "Ab Aryan se itna pyaar yada yada".

I think she very well realised today ki Aditya ko ghanta farak nahi padta. Woh mazze me Biriyani kha raha tha whilst his wife was taunting her to eat more chillies.

Watching and rewatching it again I can see this dynamic - first part you mentioned. The second part, I love how you put it - everything is always conditional, here it isn’t. It was so subtle and so small, but a great opportunity to show this completely different way of being for her.

This would be so in character and absolutely in keeping with their propensity to mislead with the precaps, especially in situations like this. And Aditya is in no place to actually hear Imlie, but when has he ever been.

If it does go this way it actually gives me more hope that maybe, finally, this is the last nail in the coffin for Imlie. Like let it go.

I absolutely love how Aryan has become a reference point for her. I love how her eyes did not search for Aditya here. The racked focus went from Aru-Imlie-Aru-Imlie-Aru-Adi-Aru.

Green- Har din toh realise karti hai par karti kuch nahi expect badi badi batein and vows😡. Yeh ladki bhi pendulum dimaag wali ban gayi hai apne jeejaji ki tarah.
