yes that focus changing was beautiful its called racking focus to guide viewers eyes to the changing dynamic/emotion in that scene.. and it impacts viewers very much.

i always loved it.. the scene i described last time with the song abhi mujh me kahi baaki thodi si hai jindagi had same rack focus from Imlie to Aru.

Also on watching that scene for like the xth, I'm struck by how much solace Imlie seems to be taking emotionally as well as physically in drinking the water Aryan poured and gave her. It felt intimate again.

I don't know if I would have been able to handle ice-cream or anything more than water 😆

To date, her guidance has been given by someone who is even more stupid and impulsive than her. The opposite person has only encouraged her stupidities instead of controlling it, has given her the job of adulting when she is a teen and has never shown her what healthy love and marriage looks like as he himself doesn't know, then what can you expect of Imlie.

Bachchi bachchi bolke sar pe chadake rakha hai. Woh tamasha banati hai apna aur dusro ka bhi, and no one in that circus reprimanded her or directed her and left her to fend for herself. I mean guide ko bhi to dekho, kaisa raha hai uska. Satyakaam was her guide, so all she understood was that violence was the way. jab ki being a father figure he should have known better. With Aditya, she realized the value of pen over violence, but a man who thrives on idiosyncracies taught her that bakaiti is the way of life, but did not teach her where to draw the line.

Imlie is like raw volatile nature, and to keep that in check that it does not destroy her, ab jaake aisa aadmi aaya hai uske life me. When Shakti goes off-balance, Shiv steps in to tame her. Shiv ko hum as Shakti ka husband dekhte hai, but sabse pehle Shiv was Shakti's mentor/guru, who taught her to wield in the power of mother nature. Someone who loved her unconditionally, and inspite of being a supreme being always let Shakti lead and he stayed behind. Only when Shakti became volatile, did Shiv step in. Aryan is like Shiv to Imlie's Prakriti/Shakti. Imlie ke guides bahut bekaar hai, inspite of her being this raw uncut diamond. Meethi, Satyakam, Aditya, they have all been a little bit Bol Bachchan, Aryan acts on being the mentor, he is not all talks. So, Imlie will learn with time.

Was it just me or did Imlie linger on Aryan waay more then usual. I just felt her eyes searching for something within Aryan. I can't put a finger on it but to me it was the recognition that the Tripathis and the Tripathi household have only given her mirchi, bitterness, and pain in her life. And for once someone within this house put a stop to it and it wasn't even her ex-husband/love. Instead her ex-love ate biryani with extreme flare while she burned in the entire pain that was the T-house experience and her solace came from someone she had never looked for solace in.

I feel like usually Jaaniya plays for Aryan but this time it played for Imlie too...

Yeah, I'm not holding out much expectation for Imlie to react any differently than she is at this point. It's too soon and she's too young and inexperienced.

It's challenging not to react when situations are triggering. The situations she's encountering aren't random, and are actually orchestrated by people out to get her. And in the case of Aditya, by someone she still loves. So yes, she will react badly.

What I love about Aryan's presence is his calm, zero-judgment in the moment approach towards her. It's exactly the energy she needs to counteract the "bad vibes" others throw her way. In this way she is able to mirror back his energy and regain her sense of self that others hijack when they attack her the way that they do. Aryan knows how to hold space for her, which I just love. His time is money for sure and this is how he chooses to spend his time.

yes that was very much there.... i too observed her eyes on him longer than she usually keeps her eyes at one place..

but as i said i slept after watching episode.. ill hv to watch the episode again to make sense of the emotions going on between the 2..

it was such a beautiful close up.. Imlie holding mirchi.. Aru is holding her hand with his right hand... he grabs mirchi feom his left hand.. and we are back to different shot and see Aru Flicking that Mirchi away in hi usual Swag and Tashan....

it visually beautiful shot as i loved that ❤ closeup with backlight... but it has symbolism too as Aru can snatch all the bitterness Imlie has in her life and can flock them out of her life..

note.. dont take symbolism seriously but do appreciate how beautiful it was shot.

Yeah I kind of felt that too. But I’ve only watched it once so far, haven’t seen it again so not sure if it was just me imagining things.

I’m looking forward to when they have the female version of the song. Looking forward to what the lyrics will be.

Madhubala used to make great use of their theme, the lyrics even changed depending on the story sometimes, it was so beautiful and it’s going to forever be my favourite couple theme within a show.
