I wonder - will Aparna ji say Adi is hurting more than Imlie post-wedding? Regardless of the MUs ... he walked into this one (Even Radha-ji was fine with no AdiNi marriage 😲🤪)

Yeah, there is no sugar-coating Aditya after this. He is walking into this eyes wide open.

Like I know they have to destroy Aditya to make AryLie happen, but haven't they done that already? It's got to be more.

They created a different and understandable villain out of Malini and they are now doing same with Aditya. I just hope that after the wedding I don't see as much of it. Just stay away. Let us have more fun back and forth that Imlie and Aryan do so well.

The universe conspires to keep Imlie away. Yet she fights against it and wins, only to be subjected to whatever it is we will see today.

Probably. I’m hoping it’ll serve to show her how much better off she is without him.

I’m holding off judgement right now because I really want to see with the follow up with Aryan/Rathore’s will be like. I’m afraid though that nothing much will happen behind what’s written in the description.

Right?! Regardless. The man’s pain is of his own making but he’ll never see it that way, nor will his family. They’ll still go on about how if only a 19 year old had shown up in time, their closer to 40 year old so wouldn’t be in so much pain 🙄.

I’m thinking post wedding Aditya is going to be in more of a downward spiral. At some point dude is going to have to reckon with the mess that he’s created.

I’m really hoping for a break as well. Since it sounds like he’s on a break/reduced filming schedule due to his other projects, I’m hopeful that we’ll get the opportunity to have some more proper Arylie content again. They’re simply amazing to watch when given the time and space - which they haven’t been this week.

Somehow, I don't want to see Adi becoming a villain. I'm okay with him being a sad vessel of a human for some time. It does fit with his personality of being emotional, self-righteous, petulant BUT it's hard knockdown for those who enjoyed Adi & love Gashmeer. Him becoming a villain would be an unfair distraction to the potential and joy that is Aryan & Imlie.

Thus, as I enjoy Aryan, and think Imlie's future has him in it - where does that leave Adi (& Gash's purpose in the show)? It might be better if he has some type of redemption track where he breaks away from Malini while becoming a good father and finding purpose with his work? Essentially, he could find someone or something that brings him peace and allows him to show growth from the flaws of his past.

Sadly, even if Malini starts a true journey of redemption (since let's face it, these characters just fit a purpose) - I feel that sentiment of "forgive but do not forget." She has created too much hurt. In this way, it would be nice if her character is portrayed as one scorned but able to progress in her own life, alone. There's no way she'll go to jail or pay the price of selling her usools and soul. AC, as much as I want her to be set straight, may never.

That was a tangent, but yes, I want some more light-hearted epis. This wedding, this torment for Rathores, Imlie, and Adi has stretched out for way too long. I actually don't think I remember a solid streak of 2-3 epis (other than the first few epis) where there was no drama or tension. Once Imlie got stuck in that hut with Adi - it was the start of problems. (bg note: for all those who joined during Aryan ... Imlie had forbade Adi from travelling further than they should as this temple was far and the day was half-way through. He insisted, she had her bicycle because his motorcycle was not working & they get caught in a storm coming back. It's dark and she says to keep pushing no matter what, that she'll cycle all the way, but he declines saying they should shelter. He ignored her anxiety, fear and self-awareness of where "staying out the night" would get them. She was protecting herself - and I'm there with her - rather have gotten injured on the mountain side instead of putting her virtue through the wringer)

We have to be careful with Adi's age - I think rules say we can't mention it or have to avoid implied "ageism"😆

Ah, good to know. It isn’t about ageism though. I was just implying that he’s older than her, he’s a mature adult who should know better. But yet everyone, including himself, keeps trying to pawn off all of his woes and troubles into other people, very specifically Imlie, who is still quite younger and in a phase of life where she’s still maturing and growing - if that makes sense…

I totally knew where you're coming from. 🤗

I just had a post of mine edited an AT or 2 ago because I was vague about who I was referring to when mentioning that Adi should be held accountable.😆 After that, I read the rules and I guess before we became active a lot of random issues came up.

It's absolutely unfair that Imlie is held more responsible for the AdiLie relationship by the Ts which made Aryan remembering Imlie counting all the times she should've treated herself better hit that much harder

I agree. They’re going a tad far with making Adi unlikable. I think there is a fine balance that can be struck in these cases, yet ITV doesn’t always seem to want to do that.

Adi needs to have his own story, independent of Imlie for a whole, and that’s okay. Why not? He needs to figure his own stuff out before he can be any sort of a husband/son/friend/father.

With Malini, I don’t know how they come back from some of her actions. That was going too far, full stop. Unless they redact.

And I completely agree, I’m so ready for there to be some light heartedness. Why does it always need to be so draining and negative. But my issue with the current track is that they have been dragging it out for days, there’s a limit for how long one should drag out such drama before it starts draining/boring the audience.

So looking forward to being back at the R house and in the BT offices.
