Malini and Adi backstory had changed over the months…at first it was they had an attraction/crush at first sight with Adi messing up his bike so he could get a lift from Malini… then when he fell in love with Imlie, it was changed to Malini filling the void of Nishant and they being best friends then started dating and then deciding to marry and Adi thinking that friendship to be love.

There when he expects a hug from Aparna she went to imlie … and most of family members surrounds imlie to bid Tata bye bye ,
