I felt for Malini today, when she spoke with Aparna. It was heavy and convincing. I hope she succeeds in getting Aditya back 😂. Although I don't think any woman should be subjected to that man.

But this way Imlie can finally start to accept her new reality and we can continue having some fun palat moments.

First of all - costume valo ko mera petition mil gaya - Aryan in a tshirt… 😍

Second, it was mostly a filler episode with some good moments. I’ll be honest I skipped some of the family stuff. It was getting so boring. Tonight I didn’t have the patience (and I was trying to zoom through cause I was between making stuff for dinner).

I appreciate that Imlie keeps thinking sings are pointing back to Aditya but it’s all pointing to her new life - with Aryan. I love how he really sees her. He might be starting to have feelings for her but mostly for him it is like you said Charishma - he’s going to be that friend who’s going to help her move on from the toxic relationship that keeps wanting to pull her back. She doesn’t see how bad it was because she has no example to set it against. I loved that in his thoughts, he talked about how her life was ahead of her. He just wants the best for her, he wants her to not be in pain, he wants to see her success and happiness.

I’m also going to throw this out there, in Aryan’s early episodes there was a scene with Adi’s mom was praying that someone who would cherish Imlie like she deserves would come into her life - I know what she was aiming to do, but what she’s unknowingly done is brought Aryan into her life - because he’s that man. Her prayer was overplayed with scenes of Aryan - there’s some positivity for you to think on if you’re still feeling unsure after today.

The palat scene was my favourite.

Okay, family stuff calls. See you all soon!

I agree with this. It would be odd for Imlie to totally be over Aditya. She’s young, she entered a relationship unwillingly (even if it was to save Adi- that’s called humanity), stuck by it bc it saved her mother’s honor, and she was so young that she kept to the advice of nurturing that marriage because she didn’t know better.

For a whole year of her life, she lived as a married woman, she became attached to everything that came along with Adi … family, love and Adi, himself, eventually. That trajectory reinforced the conditioning of “efforts are rewarded” or “no pain no gain.” Finally having the carrot that was dangled in front of her deluded Imlie into thinking that her hard work towards this marriage was worth it. She’s bound to think all it takes is effort to attain that sense of balance again. Imlie lived in this delusion despite all the warning signs that the 50-50 effort btwn AdiLie was becoming highly skewed and she was shouldering it 80-20 (or whatever percentage. What I’m getting at is that she tirelessly put in effort). She worked on her marriage, until she starting pushing Adi to be more accountable and finally she just broke.

All day, she experiences trial by fire and taunts — the amount of armor she needs to wear just to survive her day allows me to believe that when she’s alone in a corner, sitting in the dark by the glow of a faint light … finally in a safe place… she can become the young, scared, hurt broken 19 year old girl that she is. She’s not even an adult. So I’m not too concerned that she feels remorse and regret while wishing the realities of things were different.

I think it was good that Aryan was present to hear her ruminations because he doesn’t need to guess about whatever Imlie is feeling now or in the future. He can make an inference that she’ll be emotionally unavailable for quite some time. She’s good at hiding and he’s good at calling it straight - this frankness will only benefit both of them. Plus, it allows us to see that Aryan is only aware of Imlie’s relationship with Aditya as it is now, he has no clue about when the times were good.
Thus, we as the audience, know where Aru’s challenges in further emotionally connecting with Imlie will come from. I have a feeling she’ll snap at him for assuming to know all about her romantic life at some point and divulge the moments that kept her pushing her broken wagon of a relationship. From here, he has the opportunity to better understand the reservations towards intimacy and relationships pre-marriage Imlie had; and how those feeling evolved and warped over time. AryLie will then have the chance to embark on a story of their own making and consent.

precap: ugh, annoyed. Sort of wish Aryan will use his coat instead bc this type of screenplay feels like it’s done to intentionally incite fan feelings and detract away from Imlie’s story. I can see it as “oh Imlie allowed Aru to touch her like that” 🤪

Well said... I hoped for such sensitive analysis.

Red- Imlie ko thappad nahi maarna chahiye afterall he is her boss. They are not lovers jo abhi imlie se sorry bulwana scene cute lagega. Jisko jo sochna hai soche mainly BS, Imlie ko apni character prove karne ke liye thappad nahi maarna chahiye.

Green- I truly hope ki yeh scene ho. Kaafi dinon se Imlie reh rahi hai Aryan k saath unke ghar par. Personal batein bhi share karti hai somehow ek trust toh hai Imlie ko ki Aryan acha insaan hai. Gusse mein question kare toh chalega but thappad maarna bina soche samjhe is unacceptable for me.

yes tou are right.. that intercutting of Aparna praying and Aryan entering Imlie's life was no coincidence it was intentional to make this impact on viewres thar aryan is the perso who is the answet of Aparnas prayers...

and its not just there.. there were few more such intercutting happened... and i love them how well they were done.

I'd rather she pushes him hard instead of slapping. Next moment realises/feels the issue with her dress and understanding dawns. She then looks at him and sees her fear mirrored in his eyes. And they have a silent conversation with their eyes. Then he again holds her and walks her away.

Coat pehnana would be the most logical thing, but pehli baar ke coat ka drama hi abhi khatam nahi hua toh phir se kya. 🤣

Honestly, how the precap plays out on Monday depends on what they're aiming for from that scene.

If they want to weaken Adi's resolve about the marriage, they will show a full-blown confrontation right there between AryLie.

However, if they want to strengthen Adi's weakening resolve about the marriage with Malini, we'll see one of AryLie's silent understanding wala moments (like the romantic pose episode) and AryLie will walk out without any explanation and that is going to be fuel for Adi to malign her further even though he knows exactly why Aryan may have done what he did. And anyone and everyone who wants can add fuel to the fire.

I'm leaning towards the second option. In fact, I'd love it if the second one happens and then they still bicker after it in private with Imlie saying he could have helped her in a less conspicuous way. 😆
