When Malini raped Adi, she went to the courts for him and she ended up losing the case and her scholarship because Adi himself destroyed the evidence.
and regarding the family. The family has proved time and again that they are mere mute spectators and they will speak up only against Imlie and never against Malini.
This is the same family who had witnessed Imlie going behind Malini with medicine and she kept saying I will have it later and in front of Adi, she accused that Imlie didn’t remind her. The family had remained silent and none of them spoke up, it was Imlie who herself cleared up that she already gave the medicine.
When Malini accuses Imlie they all attack Imlie and when Imlie says anything against Malini, they all remain silent.
Imlie spoke up in front of everyone that Malini has suddenly moments when Adi and Imlie plan something and they never did anything to help Imlie in that matter.
They all said Imlie would never shoot Malini but after Imlie left, they were pretty much begging Malini to stay on. They were secretly doing things for Imlie as if Malini is Adi’s wife and Imlie is some illicit relation that they are scared to show Malini that they are concerned for Imlie. Every time Rupi defends Imlie and speaks up against Malini, she is asked to shut up by the elders.
what help is Imlie going to get from them?
The family knows that Imlie was wronged by them, Adi and Malini and they are still not doing anything for Imlie other than some random things and making ladoos (yeah, eating laddoo and wearing sweater solves all of Imlie’s problems)and giving random thaana to Adi. They don’t even defend Imlie when Malini paints her as a gold digger, they can see Malini is trying to instigate Adi against Imlie and they just remain silent.
After what AC did, they all are being overly polite to her when she comes to their home and screams and acts so entitled.
Sorry if my reply sounded rude, I am not trying to be rude to you, it just that the T family just makes me rant. Sunder has stood up for Imlie more than the T family.
