I know she's broken from her previous/current relationship and it may take time to accept Aryan as a romantic interest any time soon, but his honest support for her in her professional journey will help speed it up a tad bit. Especially the whole contrast with Aditya. Where she expected support from Adi in her professional endeavors, cheers on her small victories and celebrations on her big ones, she's only got pain instead of it all. He was the man she loved, who she was married to, who was supposed to fuel her dreams. Aryan on the other hand is no one to her. First he was a stranger, then he became her boss and helped her with the house situation but it ended there. There was no personal connection or any obligation arising out of it. Yet, he cheered her first success and celebrated the second by rewarding her. And when she tried to belittle herself in the process of defending Adi, Aryan ensured he was loud and clear that she got what she did purely on merit. Period. Whereas, Adi had painfully crushed the happiness out of her victories by his harsh words. That was a painful scene to watch where she was trying to console him after his demotion announcement and he was insistent on reading it wrongly, intentionally.
Bold 2 - I like the sound of it.
