On serious notes, I agree that Malini can only interrupt Adi-Imlie's togetherness. But to dismiss that interruption as inconsequential is not wise.

This interruption is creating a lot of deep pain for them and this interruption has brought a child (atleast for now) in their life. I don't think all that can be dismissed just like that.

MS, sindoor, rituals are not base of their relation but they have some value. If these things had zero value then they wouldn't be so excited for it.

There gestures had zero value when Adi was in relation with Malini, but with Imlie he really cherishes these things and wants to enjoy them in their truest form (like he said in ring finding ceremony) so Malini did dent KC , it was a small thing so they recovered.

But Malini will leave very deep wounds in this phase and it will need a lot of healing..
