BTW I think my take on Adi's sorry scene has been misunderstood. I am not always able to express my thought as deeply as many in this forum do still I hope people are more respectful towards others' opinions instead of jumping the guns and start judging and make fun. Its not related to people in this thread.

Anyways, what I meant to say was that his way (just the way and nothing else) of saying sorry was same. I was not talking about what triggered that sorry or person he was saying sorry to or what he did after that sorry or his genuineness in saying it.

And it pinched because it took mind back to all the fakeness and forcefulness that was there in earlier sorrys to a certain fake person.

Hey Aarti - I get you and completely understand where you are coming from.

One thing I can always guarantee to you - this was, is and will always be a safe space to voice any opinions, even if others may not agree.

For example, my take on the "sorry" you mentioned was slightly different, because ironically I rewatched some of the earlier episodes for a different reason and saw a parallel that I wanted to mention.

Like you said, Adi's sorry to someone else always felt like it was forced out of him for doing something he actually had no regrets for doing. Be it when he had to apologize for misunderstanding DD's intentions during their first fight or berating her in her mother's house for taking Imlie there. His sorry was always done when someone else pointed out (ironically in both times it was Imlie) that his outburst at Malini was misdirected (when actually it was not, but we understood that much later).

In contrast, everytime he apologized to Imlie, it was always spontaneous and heartfelt, because he has always needed to introspect and understand where he was going wrong for which Imlie and him are at crossroads. The first time it happened was in PD3, where he was forced to understand just how much his words had hurt Imlie. Then also he was in denial about his feelings for Imlie and today he is in denial about Malini's feelings for him. Then also Imlie had to give him a very harsh punishment of walking away from him so that he could realize how much she means to him, and today also she had to leave her place in his room for him to understand that he needed to something big to atleast initiate his efforts to win back Imlie's trust in him again, which was divorcing his "kaagzi rishta" and ending that chapter he started out of his own ego.

Imlie breaking down in front of him hurts him like nothing else. Like he said, her taunts prick him, so seeing her in tears just tear his heart like nothing else. His outburst while in character, was something he realized has hurt the person he loves & adores and that made him react the way he did - there was no calculation or need for him to think why he was sorry, it was completely spontaneous from his end. That shows me the difference between his reaction and apologies between how it was while he was in another relationship, vis-a-vis how it is with Imlie. Imlie never needed to ask, or make him feel bad for his opinions - her response was just that as long as they were at an impasse with respect to their views on a patricular topic that has a major impact on their future as a married couple, then they need to take the time to sort through their thoughts so that they could come to a decision that both can be on board with. This samajhdari is what prompted Adi to do something that has been on the back burner for so long - to show Imlie that he also can take the required steps to reach the middle point they are looking for.

Do let me know what you think on this and like I always say - keep the opinions and discussions moving, as every opinion is a new way at looking at the show that we all are connected with.

Still better than her staying at the T house and listening in to everyone's conversation.

Also you forget - for Adi it is - if out of sight, out of mind for anything not related to Imlie.

That move of hers while will make it look like he is bending to her every ask, it will be done completely only out of obligation and nothing else.

Also achcha hai - till then Imlie can also find the truth about her pregnancy.

BTW, my googly - next week Malini will find out that she is not pregnant and that it was an abnormal growth in her uterus and there is no baby - that will be the truth that Imlie will use to expose Malini in front of Adi.

And Sundar wants rest for Imlies kone so that uske peet ko bhi aaraam mile

But Imlie doesn't want to spoil their manns in which laddoos were phootoing for now but yeah baad mein you'll know

lol and they started teasing her that was so cute. imlie bhi sharmaagayi.

Ab aayi hai asli scene... in Adi's bageecha and he was worried ki Imlie ko aisa na lege ki ye uskoo....

So he decided to fix the bageecha and started throwing away the petals that are on his bed

and those petals fell on imlie.. matlab kuch bhi. kaun phekta hai aisa upar hawa mein? but that was cute though

and on hearing Imlie call him, nervousiyaagaye hai babusahib and aisa hilgaya as if there was an earthquake

and said GLASS KA DOODH lekar kyun khadi ho and again he said PHOOL BHI HAMARA GULAB BHI HAMARA

and they laughed so cutely and he started to pocho her billi jaisan mooch with her dupatta only lol and phir thoda awkward hone laga but he told her that uski saath is the biggest gift for him and here comes my favorite dialogue, bear with me - "jab tak tum nahi chahogi, hum iss bistar par ek bhi silvat nahi padne denge" that was so nibbaish and so sweet at the same time only because Adi said it, yaar they handle such scenes so well

sighhh, and he wants to give her something - hawa nahi jagah

He cleared his room of all the junk and discussed how they will live in the room awww finally! And the most important and lovely convo sofe pe.. that was so beautifully executed.. full-on hubby wife feels. And the picture that was in the guest room was removed from there and found its rightful place

Babusahib wants to write nayi kahaani with biwi and wants nobody in this kahaani.. what about the babay babusahib? And phir se shuru kardiya bhuljao jaap.. puraani baatien bhulaakar maaf kardo please lol in your dreams babusahib, you think it is that easy?

and wants to jeetpao her bharosa without breaking a sweat but imlie ne seedha malini ki baat chedli.. and this guy started losing it isko baat karna hi nahi hai.. par aisa nahi chalega babusahib you have to face the reality. Andu shuru kiya "lekin aaj" comfortably forgetting all that has happened earlier and expecting imlie to forget too blah blah.. and he said COMPETITION! woaaah dude watch your words! again blah blah and finally admitted that some of her actions khatkoed him but I'll ignore them cuz I don't like facing uncomfortable truths. Isko abhi bhi lagta hai ki she's an achhi insaan and is ummedoing that she'll become an achhi maa.

Yelo isne bhi kaha tha ki influence hogayi ma se - again I feel that the makers want to close this possibility of justification by the end of this track so good for us, no ww happening IMO

Imlie rightly asks why you are not able to trust me for ek pal and this entitled bandha assumes and asks why she's not able to trust him.. ummmm lemme guess dude, could it be because you slept with another woman? (in his mind)

And the next scene, I LOOOOVED it! The way Imlie started crying and his instant regret and saying sorry and Imlie shaking her head that was so beautiful

Ye bandha iski baat samajhna hi nahi chahta and he thinks Imlie galat samajhrahi hai wah

Imlie ne jawaab dediya ki jab tak you go through the same pain, hum donon ki vichaar naahi milpayiye... and leaves. Oh Adi ka suhaagraat dreams got shattered

FIIIINALLY he wants to DO SOMETHING to jeeto her viswaas and the first of those is giving a chance for M to prove her innocence wah - khair chodo we want divorce toh we are satisfied.

And AC was about to goodbyeify her daughter but M ne rokliya

and usne khud kaha ki I'm not so stupid that I'll be influenced by anyone do minute baat karke, I'm evil on my own. and I'll never forgive Imlie.. again no signs of WW

And khud admit karli ki aaj uska sabse bada EPIC FAILURE when maa ne accept karke kamra pravesh karvaya and uski "change of plan" bataya lol which was effective only for a day.. baaki she dug her own grave lol

AGAAAAIN emphasis on AC bighaadoing Malini "bitiya" so I'm convinced now that this track will only have M's own plans so that nobody can give a benefit of the doubt to her regarding this flip. Good move by makers I'd say. but jaldi karo please - not like 100 epis for AC and 100 for MC noooooooooo!

And again cringe scene of Meethi n Dev bringing pakwaan again from "MAIKA" which is C-house. Firstly, Imlie's maika is PD. Secondly, why are they letting their samdhan stay as a servant with 5K salary in some other house? Don't you remember how she was being treated? Imlie ko bhi kya hogaya?

And what was Aparna's reaction on seeing the divorce papers? Oh mother did you forget that you've accepted your asli bahu???

Finally Adi put her on the spot instead of just chedoing the divorce baat.. good job man! Sign bhi kardiya isne lol she HAS TO now. I hope they don't stop it by making Nishant ya someone faint bas jaldi karvado bhai divorce!

Does nobody notice the tears in M's eyes? Not even Adi who is directly looking at her?

And finally the ghisi piti precap which had "mere kareeb layega" 3 times. She said babusab again

Chodo, Imlie is on mission expose again but this time with a lot of lessons learned so that she can do it right this time.

Review was superb as always, but loved your last summary gif - that was so on point.

The entire episode felt like nehle pe dehla, especially after the shitfest we got yesterday.

Hence I say - do not judge the episode on the precap - especially Imlie's episodes - they have the worst precaps ever.😆

It only few scenes or dialogues, where people have different perception and this difference is necessary to have an interesting and healthy discussion otherwise its like reading same thing again and again.

I totally agree with you on all your points vis-a-vis the reason behind apologies in two cases.

As I understood it , Adi's fury was what he truly felt and he was sorry not because he understood what he did wrong. He was sorry because he had hurt Imlie and Imlie knows that his sorry is meaningless without him properly understanding the situation thats why she is not stepping down from her stand.

But I am extremely extremely happy, like everyone else across forum and other social platforms, that Imlie's stand woke him up and how.

It is so in line with GM's interview saying that Adi takes action only when he is forced to do so otherwise he is happy to maintain the status-quo. Now Imlie's stand is forcing him.

I agree with you on the purpose behind his apology - it was because he was upset at hurting her, not because he felt what he said was wrong.

that was clearly evident the next day, as he said that signing the divorce papers will allow Malini to also prove that her change is genuine.

The last time also his apology was first driven because he hurt Imlie's feelings and then he realized that he should not have insisted to her to get married to someone else, because he himself has feelings for her which he was not willing to acknowledge till much later.

Which was exactly why I mentioned that Imlie's tears always trigger the protective instict in him where he genuinely feels horrible for hurting her, while in his previous relationship the sorry was only to placate the other party without any feelings of remorse.
