E301 was loads better, I am glad to say. For those who watched yday and were like what am I seeing or who is the lead.. it is Adilie and we had almost 10 minutes of their convo. I almost fell off my sofa.. I could not believe my eyes.. second time this week we got a long convo of theirs.
I will try to recap the epi.. M comes to the kitchen while Imlie is heating up the milk for the nighttime and sheds fake tears.. I am reformed, all for the baby, give me another chance, yada yada.... rinse repeat of her lines. Imlie says at first she does not believe her as she does not want to be stabbed in the back by her dd again.
Cute teasing by Nishu, Rupi n Sundar the 3 musketeers. They are adorbs.. and tease Imlie for her SR.. Now, none of the elders were shown or involved. Means the garba ended, kamra ki GP done and all went to the rooms to retire. Would have loved to see some continuity here as the shift to Imlie-M scene in the kitchen was too abrupt. Some family scenes may have been there that most likely ended up on the editing floor. Btw I saw the BTS of the dandiya and am appalled at the amount of scenes that were snipped off.. 😈 Makers ke peet me zor zor se Koni.
Ok coming to Adilie - you have to see it as it was brilliant. Both ST and GM were brilliant. Started off awkwardly, nervousness creeping in but then it moved to a comfort space, then talk to arguements and intense exchange of words.
Imlie brings haldi doodh and drinks it in one go ending up with a moustache and ADi keeps a rose behind his ear.. parallel to PD3 when Imlie did the same.. it was so lovely to see them laugh.. freely. saying that her saath is his greatest gift..

I am not going into much detail other than that Adi put Imlie at ease saying he will not touch her without her approval and that he prefers the left side but can sleep on the right side.. aawww... BBSB.. then he made space for her clothes books n all... got rid of the old things.. I would have said..burn the room n get a makeover. lol...
convo shifts to M and then they truly say what is in each other's mind. Imlie tries to say that M has not changed but Adi is stuck at today.. see she has changed. I fought against the world & family for you and can't you trust me for once.. raised his voice but calmed down.. seeing her.. Imlie said they can never progress and Adi tries to say sorry like he always did with M. I could see the parallel of the first ever arguement of Adini when she went by car to college n Adi was mad at M. stark contrasts in the way Adi dealt with both.
Imlie is trying to avoid Adi getting hurt as she knows that he will be hurt greatly and until he goes through that pain of betrayal and trust factor is back the way it was between them, she would not share the room or bed with him. Off she goes leaving her place despite winning the family's approval.
Some Anu-M ka scenes that I legit FF'ed... and coming to Nani.. hugs to her. She is right about M that she cannot change so much in a day.. whose mom is bad.. and her dad betrayed both Meethi/Imlie.. so how can she be good.. Meethi is gullible and this explains how easy it was for Dev to take advantage of her sweet nature. Imlie comes and says she does not trust M an inch. Hoping that nani n she teams up with the trio of Nish, Rupi n Sundar to expose M.
The ultimate gift and what we were salivating for.. Aditya Kumar Tripathi has not forgotten about the divorce. Asked for the D in front of the family saying Imlie n he cannot move forward until the divorce is finalized, to set his wife at peace, as Adini is just a paper formality not a real shaadi, they are JUST friends.
precap - Again Dd ka drama with Imlie who reveals her true intent by using the baby to get back Adityaaaaa.
Happy camper as we got solid Adilie scene. Great end to the week and ending on a high note after hitting the 300 milestone.

Oh, thank you for reminding me the first adini argument. Lol Adi fought over what? Nobody knows. and he didn't even want to talk to her. He voiced out his regret over marrying her indirectly😆He never truly cared for his "wife". Only Imlie's poem calmed him and I now get a feeling that he knew somewhere that Imlie wrote it but instantly dismissed it. With Imlie, he is quick to apologise and eager to fix it but with Malini, he was always trying to run away from her.🤣 truly such a contrast!
I'm totally with you on burning the room. All I remember is the morning after janmashtami and the night M called Prakash to clear her doubts. The room needs a makeover.
