The Divorce Papers

The week ended on a high, after completing 300 episodes and making us laugh, cry, see red n get agitated.. E301 was loads better, I am glad to say. For those who watched yday and were like what am I seeing or who is the lead.. it is Adilie and we had almost 10 minutes of their convo. I almost fell off my sofa.. I could not believe my eyes.. second time this week we got a long convo of theirs.

I will try to recap the epi.. M comes to the kitchen while Imlie is heating up the milk for the nighttime and sheds fake tears.. I am reformed, all for the baby, give me another chance, yada yada.... rinse repeat of her lines. Imlie says at first she does not believe her as she does not want to be stabbed in the back by her dd again.

Cute teasing by Nishu, Rupi n Sundar the 3 musketeers. They are adorbs.. and tease Imlie for her SR.. Now, none of the elders were shown or involved. Means the garba ended, kamra ki GP done and all went to the rooms to retire. Would have loved to see some continuity here as the shift to Imlie-M scene in the kitchen was too abrupt. Some family scenes may have been there that most likely ended up on the editing floor. Btw I saw the BTS of the dandiya and am appalled at the amount of scenes that were snipped off.. 😈 Makers ke peet me zor zor se Koni.

Ok coming to Adilie - you have to see it as it was brilliant. Both ST and GM were brilliant. Started off awkwardly, nervousness creeping in but then it moved to a comfort space, then talk to arguements and intense exchange of words.

Imlie brings haldi doodh and drinks it in one go ending up with a moustache and ADi keeps a rose behind his ear.. parallel to PD3 when Imlie did the same.. it was so lovely to see them laugh.. freely. saying that her saath is his greatest gift..

I am not going into much detail other than that Adi put Imlie at ease saying he will not touch her without her approval and that he prefers the left side but can sleep on the right side.. aawww... BBSB.. then he made space for her clothes books n all... got rid of the old things.. I would have said..burn the room n get a makeover. lol...

convo shifts to M and then they truly say what is in each other's mind. Imlie tries to say that M has not changed but Adi is stuck at today.. see she has changed. I fought against the world & family for you and can't you trust me for once.. raised his voice but calmed down.. seeing her.. Imlie said they can never progress and Adi tries to say sorry like he always did with M. I could see the parallel of the first ever arguement of Adini when she went by car to college n Adi was mad at M. stark contrasts in the way Adi dealt with both.

Imlie is trying to avoid Adi getting hurt as she knows that he will be hurt greatly and until he goes through that pain of betrayal and trust factor is back the way it was between them, she would not share the room or bed with him. Off she goes leaving her place despite winning the family's approval.

Some Anu-M ka scenes that I legit FF'ed... and coming to Nani.. hugs to her. She is right about M that she cannot change so much in a day.. whose mom is bad.. and her dad betrayed both Meethi/Imlie.. so how can she be good.. Meethi is gullible and this explains how easy it was for Dev to take advantage of her sweet nature. Imlie comes and says she does not trust M an inch. Hoping that nani n she teams up with the trio of Nish, Rupi n Sundar to expose M.

The ultimate gift and what we were salivating for.. Aditya Kumar Tripathi has not forgotten about the divorce. Asked for the D in front of the family saying Imlie n he cannot move forward until the divorce is finalized, to set his wife at peace, as Adini is just a paper formality not a real shaadi, they are JUST friends.

precap - Again Dd ka drama with Imlie who reveals her true intent by using the baby to get back Adityaaaaa.

Happy camper as we got solid Adilie scene. Great end to the week and ending on a high note after hitting the 300 milestone.

Gosh, what a great episode this was! Made up for the dragging elements of #300, for sure.

I just want to start with how adorable Adi and Imlie were today. These goofs are just... 😳 Imlie got teased by the T-gang but it was Adi who was more nervous than her. 🤣 The message he thought the room - I mean bageecha was sending 😆, combined with Imlie walking in with a glass ka doodh 😆, made him babble like a child. 🤣 Their awkward and skittish conversation was definitely the scene of the day for me. Special mention for the bit where Adi burst out laughing with a rose behind his ear. 😳😳 Angels were singing somewhere in that moment. Not an exaggeration.

The adilie argument was another big highlight. This is the first time Imlie has opened up to Adi so candidly since he deleted the video, and I am glad they left nothing unsaid. Open, no-holds-barred communication, the very cornerstone of their relationship, made a promising return today, and this episode would have been a resounding success from that perspective alone. 👍🏼 I know everyone has been frustrated with Adi still being dumb enough to give Malini the benefit of the doubt, myself included, but I liked how this conversation confirmed what we had been saying all along - Adi is desperately trying to give the Malini he once knew and liked a second chance. He even told Imlie to focus only on the change in her today - this just goes on to show how he knows Malini is not who he thinks she is, but for the sake of whatever she appeared to be and whatever they shared in those seven years , he wants to continue living in denial and asks Imlie to focus only on their marriage. As long as she knows he's hers, she shouldn't worry about Malini at all. It's flawed thinking, but he put it out there for her to hear so that's good.

I'm actually glad Imlie heard him burst out but did not react aggressively - she just got up and decided to leave. It was equally good that she stood up for what she believed in. Imlie is right - they are at an impasse and until they can come to a consensus about Malini, they won't be able to move forward in their marriage. Adi, to his credit, also took it in good stride. 👍🏼 He's determined to win her trust in the ways that he knows he can. Hence, the DIVORCE. 🥳🥳 This man always goes from 0 to 100, but oh well. 😆 This has been a long time coming, and I am so glad it was not Imlie who pushed Adi to take the divorce. He himself woke up from the slumber he's been in and decided it was high time they formalized it. The writers seem to have woven the plot in such a way that Malini won't be able to back out of signing the papers without giving up her pretenses at this point. Hoping the finalization of this divorce is how we start the coming week. 🥳

Not even going to get into the precap. It seems Malini has dropped the act in front of Imlie & this time, Imlie's fully geared up to expose her. I will not take her words seriously until we actually see some solid planning on Imlie's end. Please, please, let's end this character's miserable track now. 😳😒

Even though the episode started with Malini's fake niceness which she was trying hard to keep up as Imlie forced her to accept that she did bohot galtiya it was peaceful overall

It is always about main kya chaahti hoon GET LOST! Nobody cares dd why don't you underistand??

and shuru hogayi Maine ye kiya woh kiya, ek chance to deserve karti hoon na please ooo iss bachhe keliye ooo bhai andar ke ravan ko maardiya mujhpe viswaas karoo bheek dedoooo

and the three musketeers Nishu, Rupi and Sundar - ye log bhi IF mode mein aake analysis karne lage the iske baad usko ye samajh agaya, agar ye hoga to hum ye karenge bhagadende ek second mein and Rupi di said it - rasta bhatakgayi coz of her mom - so this track is all about M's own kiyaa dhaara to show that she's truly evil and not a good person who was influenced their bad mother. No WW for Malini now! Aur kaala karo khudko aur apni ma ko bhi please

And Sundar wants rest for Imlies kone so that uske peet ko bhi aaraam mile

But Imlie doesn't want to spoil their manns in which laddoos were phootoing for now but yeah baad mein you'll know

lol and they started teasing her that was so cute. imlie bhi sharmaagayi.

Ab aayi hai asli scene... in Adi's bageecha and he was worried ki Imlie ko aisa na lege ki ye uskoo....

So he decided to fix the bageecha and started throwing away the petals that are on his bed

and those petals fell on imlie.. matlab kuch bhi. kaun phekta hai aisa upar hawa mein? but that was cute though

and on hearing Imlie call him, nervousiyaagaye hai babusahib and aisa hilgaya as if there was an earthquake

and said GLASS KA DOODH lekar kyun khadi ho and again he said PHOOL BHI HAMARA GULAB BHI HAMARA

and they laughed so cutely and he started to pocho her billi jaisan mooch with her dupatta only lol and phir thoda awkward hone laga but he told her that uski saath is the biggest gift for him and here comes my favorite dialogue, bear with me - "jab tak tum nahi chahogi, hum iss bistar par ek bhi silvat nahi padne denge" that was so nibbaish and so sweet at the same time only because Adi said it, yaar they handle such scenes so well

sighhh, and he wants to give her something - hawa nahi jagah

He cleared his room of all the junk and discussed how they will live in the room awww finally! And the most important and lovely convo sofe pe.. that was so beautifully executed.. full-on hubby wife feels. And the picture that was in the guest room was removed from there and found its rightful place

Babusahib wants to write nayi kahaani with biwi and wants nobody in this kahaani.. what about the babay babusahib? And phir se shuru kardiya bhuljao jaap.. puraani baatien bhulaakar maaf kardo please lol in your dreams babusahib, you think it is that easy?

and wants to jeetpao her bharosa without breaking a sweat but imlie ne seedha malini ki baat chedli.. and this guy started losing it isko baat karna hi nahi hai.. par aisa nahi chalega babusahib you have to face the reality. Andu shuru kiya "lekin aaj" comfortably forgetting all that has happened earlier and expecting imlie to forget too blah blah.. and he said COMPETITION! woaaah dude watch your words! again blah blah and finally admitted that some of her actions khatkoed him but I'll ignore them cuz I don't like facing uncomfortable truths. Isko abhi bhi lagta hai ki she's an achhi insaan and is ummedoing that she'll become an achhi maa.

Threshold point aagaya.. started blasting his volcano on Imlie ki M ki zid se kuch nahi hoga and agar zid kiya bhi hai toh ab chodchuki hai... seriously man?? everything is so easy for you huh I wanted to punch him here. lol thanks to imlie chop kardiya reminding him of inglis medam

Yelo isne bhi kaha tha ki influence hogayi ma se - again I feel that the makers want to close this possibility of justification by the end of this track so good for us, no ww happening IMO

And he said puraani baatein kyun karrahi ho cuz they make sense n I dont want any sense I just want you. ab ki baat karo cuz she's changed now.

Imlie rightly asks why you are not able to trust me for ek pal and this entitled bandha assumes and asks why she's not able to trust him.. ummmm lemme guess dude, could it be because you slept with another woman? (in his mind)

And the next scene, I LOOOOVED it! The way Imlie started crying and his instant regret and saying sorry and Imlie shaking her head that was so beautiful

Ye bandha iski baat samajhna hi nahi chahta and he thinks Imlie galat samajhrahi hai wah

Imlie ne jawaab dediya ki jab tak you go through the same pain, hum donon ki vichaar naahi milpayiye... and leaves. Oh Adi ka suhaagraat dreams got shattered

FIIIINALLY he wants to DO SOMETHING to jeeto her viswaas and the first of those is giving a chance for M to prove her innocence wah - khair chodo we want divorce toh we are satisfied.

And AC was about to goodbyeify her daughter but M ne rokliya

and usne khud kaha ki I'm not so stupid that I'll be influenced by anyone do minute baat karke, I'm evil on my own. and I'll never forgive Imlie.. again no signs of WW

And khud admit karli ki aaj uska sabse bada EPIC FAILURE when maa ne accept karke kamra pravesh karvaya and uski "change of plan" bataya lol which was effective only for a day.. baaki she dug her own grave lol

NANI FTW!!!! aurat ka mann hai kauno KHARBOOJA naahi joun ek din ma rang badal le... WOW nani please stay and send away the helpless and unhelpful Meethi to PD.

AGAAAAIN emphasis on AC bighaadoing Malini "bitiya" so I'm convinced now that this track will only have M's own plans so that nobody can give a benefit of the doubt to her regarding this flip. Good move by makers I'd say. but jaldi karo please - not like 100 epis for AC and 100 for MC noooooooooo!

We got the answer for any possibility of WW - Dhoka devewale ke ghar mein kono sant paida naahi hoyisakat hai.. Nani and hum sab ki dar ek hi hai... thanks Nani for voicing it out.

And what was Aparna's reaction on seeing the divorce papers? Oh mother did you forget that you've accepted your asli bahu???

Finally Adi put her on the spot instead of just chedoing the divorce baat.. good job man! Sign bhi kardiya isne lol she HAS TO now. I hope they don't stop it by making Nishant ya someone faint bas jaldi karvado bhai divorce!

Does nobody notice the tears in M's eyes? Not even Adi who is directly looking at her?

Didiya ke chehre pe baje nau do gyarah divorce ko sign karne ki request sunke and phatak se imlu ko dhamkaayi hoon ki bs ko jodke rakhne ke liye wo ab bacche ko use karegi. Episode begins with didiya trying to put on a goody goody act with imlu by offering fake tamarind accompanied with an obviously fake declaration of wanting to normalize things between them. Imlu does not buy it one bit saying she already has all the support she has ever needed and in a disgusted tone asks didiya what peet ke peeche waar she is planning this time👏. Didi goes on spewing bakwaas that iss navratra me maine apne andhar ke raavan ko maar diya hai🤢.

Rupi is asking whether nishu and sundar think didiya is really on the redemption road after talking to her dad. Nishu responds saying he thinks malini understands what they can do if she tries to harm the fam after seeing what happened with pranav. Sundar intervenes hilariously asking that nishu and rupi tell the Pugli to stop marooing peet pe kohni 🤣. Then all 3 tease imlu about impending suhaag raat with adi by pointing to haldi doodh and room ki decoration which gets our jhalli all shy and excited due to nervousness😳❤️😆. Sundar adds mirchi saying doodh ki jaroorath tho tumhe hai😆🤗. All three tease imlu saying goodnight 🤗.

Next aawath hoon suhaag raat ki ek badi cute si ice breaking exercise by these two🤗. Bs in his room cribbing cutely about bageecha decor and is worried that imlu might think ki adi uspe ...🤣. He decides to tone down the bageecha ness of the decorations thaaki imlu scariyaayi naa jaaye🤣. Imlu enters just as babusahib is busy brushing away rose petals which land on her and pukaroes him all flustered.Bs bhi fultoo flustered like his biwi asks her doodh kyun leke aayi ho after which imlu hurriedly drinks the entire haldi doodh fatafat🤣. Imlu asks him ki wo gulab ke phool ke saath kya kar rahe hai to which he responds ye phool bhi humaara aur gulab bhi humaara hai and keeps the rose in his ear 🤣. Bas ice ijj broken aur dil kholke humaar pyaare adilie hasath hoon💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕. Adi wipes away imlu ki billi waali mooch from drinking doodh and tells her that humaare liye tumhara saath hi humaara sabse bada gift hai❤❤❤❤. He assures her that he will not do anything against her will until she herself consents to moving forward❤️❤️. He moves on to lovingly and proudly show how he has prepared for her move in to their room🤗. Uski almaari me imlu ke clothes ke liye jagah when she innocently asks hawa 🤣. Another special almaari fully khaali kees for his jhallis jaroorath ki cheezen, a shelf for her books and also tells her he can switch sides on the bisthar even though unhe left side me sone ki aadath hai😆.

Phir we also get a serious not so goofy emotional second part of their convo where he talks about having removed all poorani cheezen and says in their nayi kahani un dono ke alawa kis aur ki jagah nahi. He requests her to forget all purani baathen and forgive him. He wants to win over her bharosa to which imlu responds she trusts him over herself with everything but malini didi. Adi ko didi ke baare me baath hi nahi karni but begins by telling imlu if she really distrusts didi after what she did today. He spews ostrichwaala bakwaas about jis insaan humari competition me ho uss insaan ko hum galath hi samajhthe hain. Adi ki gadhepan ki hadh hai 😡 but the good part is they continue to communicate. Despite things about didi jo adi ko khatki since he has known her for over 7 long years he does not think she is a buri insaan and says pregnancy ke baad didi se muh nahi mod sakthe. Imlu responds saying i am not telling you to muh modo from the pregnancy but cannot get over the fact that didiya will be mandraaoing in their lives along with baccha. Warns him that didiya is obsessed with getting him back to which an irritated adi responds unki zid karne se hum unke nahi ho jaathe aur zid thi tho ab nahi hai and that ek maa buri nahi ho sakthi because uske mann me mamtha ke alawa kisi aur cheez ki jagah nahi hai. Imlu responds saying mrs.c is a mom too and asks if she is a good person. Adi says mrs.c and malini are different to which imlu says didi was different but is full farebi like her mom now. Imlu gets all exasperated with bs saying pregnancy ke baad didi badal jaayegi and says didi does not care about baby because she does not take meds on time asks him if he remembers jhoothi pooja jise rakh ke smoke inhale kiya. Things get really heated with adilie asking each other kyun wo ek dusre pe bharosa nahi kar rahe. Gadhe bs ko thappad maarne ko chaha jab wo bole ki wo puri duniya se imlu ke liye ladh gaye pure parivaar ke khilaaf khade huwe phir bhi imlu uspe bharosa kyun nahi kar sakthi😡. Isko tho 😡. He keeps going on and an upset teary eyed imlu fed up with didi jaap like us viewers just gets up and walks away after which laat saab aathe hain line pe😆. Sorry bolke he walks behind imlu trying to stop her. She sunaaoes him that she has break his vishwaas on didiya and he has to undergo this dard for them to be on the same page and for their trust to rebuild👏. She refuses to move into their room until their puraana and pura waala trust is restored 👏. Kudos to st and gm for keeping us engrossed throughout the sequence. Superb superb superb. These two are magic together ⭐️.

We hear adis monologue where he thinking he will not let imlie chodo her haq despite acceptance from the fam. He promises to do everything to jeetho her bharosa.

Back in the guest room didiya ki award winning obsession waali kaand planning ki baath chalthi hai with didi saying wo acchi banke family aur adi se imlu ko isolate karegi🤢. Back in the living room nn suspects that didi ka mann overnight nahi badal saktha and is trying to convince meethi that imlu meethi should not get entrapped by her tricks again. Meethi vehemently denies that didi has not changed saying she probably did change after her convo with dev and that she is gonna be a mom something on the lines of a mom cannot be cruel. Nn says both dev and mrs.c ne dhoka dees and aise ghar me santh paida nahi hothi. Meethi responds saying maa baap ka dosh bacchon ko nahi dethe. Imlu shares nn ke concerns and tells meethi she does have ratho bhar ka bharosa on didiya kyunki ooo ke upar bs ko paaye ka bhoot sawaar hai aur ye obsession aasani se nahi uthregi. She says didi is faking acchai and will definitely find what she is planning under the acchai ka mirror.

Next morning dev does khatirdaari of samdhis before leaving and meethi hands over karwa chauth shagun. Anu is upset hearing this and didi does her fake drama as if to calm her down saying imlu ki nayi shuruwaath kr liye best wishes dene chahiye. Apu lovingly informs imlu about all the kc prep , sargi etc when adi comes over and hits a home run🥳. Adi lovingly announces that imlu has already saved his life several times and for the lambi umar of their pavithra rishta besides wanting to earn imlus bharosa further announces that he has prepared divorce papers signed them and requests didi to sign them as well . He lagaaoes a waat on malini that inka kagazi rishtha khatam hona jaroori hain taaki adilie ka rishta mukammal ho🤣.

Precap me farebi didi threatens to use the baby to tie adi to herself over their puraana rishtha. Meaning she has signed the papers to fool the fam into believing her accahi ka dhong. Imlu promises to not leave her keemthi cheez in the hands of a farebi dacait and that she will.expose didiya come what may.

Excited for next week... woohooo🥳

To a hopeful start to 400th..

Still trying to process all that happened today. Got to se ethe Imlie and Sundar ka banter, the teasing by the trio.. kamdey.... as the trio decorated the room like a garden... Adi trying to clear the roses.. glass ka doodh.. as both are nervous at first...seeing them laugh out dil khol ke.. was so wonderful to see.. we were yearning to see them like this for ages.. heartfelt moments and laughter..

Parallel of the bargat ka ped ke chudail.. darr laagat hai.. Imlie was just like that scene, feeling garmi-sardi... Adi trying his best to put her at ease.

Taking her to the almirah to show that she has space to put her things.. and Imlie asked him what is that.. hawa... gosh she is not able to process all that.. feeling emo sickness.. and the resident evil ka words.. hanging over her head.. how can she be at peace.. poor thing.

Adi is still seeing her good side or what he has seen the last few yrs.. he has to get over his brahm that she is inherently good whereas the opposite is true, she is the most selfish n insecure person who has an unhealthy obsession for Adityaaaa. Imlie raised a valid point that along with the baby M is also entwined in their lives forever.. Adi countered by saying that a woman can be bad but never a mother. Ah well.. arguements or discussion points aplenty for everyone in this convo.. that can be the fodder.

The whole thing gave me such good vibes of the earlier days, that convo of Adini and their first arguement. here I can see Adi make amends at the outset.. again discussion points aplenty.

How Adi again told in front of the family that he owes his life to Imlie and he wants to put her mind at rest by finalizing the divorce. He was ready and during their first Karwa Chauth, for the long life of their marriage, he wants to gift her. SO M will make some drama again during the KC.

Like I always say- take this show one episode at a time! And today's episode has to be the most epic one yet! Did I say that for 299 too...oh well epic number 2...AKT ain't no khamba anymore- And I loved that!

I want to throw something at the makers for showing such a lame precap! They really need to improve their marketing skills in all ways possible. I am still reeling in the fact that AKT had so many dialogues, emotions today. Mutlab Suraj is out of whatever cloud it was hiding behind.

Loved that entire banter between these two duffers! Oh their smiles, such resplendent personalities!

The very essence of their relationship is they talk- and that is what they did today. Ranging from assuring her that nothing without her consent to how their relationship cannot move forward until Malini has relevance.

If Imlie was right in her place, AKT was not wrong either. He accepted that she has been behaving odd, but he has not seen any red flags yet! If Imlie is determined, AKT's love is relentless too. AKT really has never cared about Malini to the extent where it would start affecting his relationship with Imlie. But then yes he still does not know the truth. His dialogue of "unki zidd hai iska mutlab hum unke nahi ho jaayenge" hit hard! Because it is the truth. But no relationship really moves forward on the basis of just convincing words...and never on insecurities. And then voila- the next BIG milestone- AKT directly brought signed divorce papers...going into the mode of baat khatam, rishta khatam!

IMO, Malini will sign the papers! At this point like Imlie said- madness has taken over!

I could only LOL at how in literally two episodes Malini goody goody se fir moody moody pe aa gayi...Le Mal..not one day you could keep your farce!

So looks like karwa chauth might be the moving in day! The air in the cupboard and the shelfs...will get their rightful owner!
