Oh I agree, the promo had a lot of symbolism and foreshadowing. Problem is that the minute Malini put her hand on her stomach and spoke about khadaan ka chirag, every other symbolism just flew out of the window, and only rage & confusion was left. After the entire promo I feel that everyone including me just echoed Imlie's "Baccha?" face and confusion.😆

It is almost like they want to keep us guessing and on our toes to ensure that we cannot predict what will happen next. But out of all this one thing will be constant - Adi and Imlie love and attachment for each other. No matter what DD tried to do, she could not even touch the core of their relationship. Even when DD did what she did, Imlie could not come to terms that Adi could do something like that even being inebriated. That shows that for Imlie, Adi will always be the other part of her soul. No matter what happens, punishing him for her is like punishing herself. Adi toh is someone we know cannot survive without Imlie. Even when he was mad at her, he cannot see her in pain. So in a way, DD brought out all these emotions and just cemented their relationship even further.

With this final act, she will have driven the last nail in the coffin of her relationship with both Adi & IMlie to lose the 2 people who were the most genuine people who cared for her well being. She does not know it but that will be her biggest punishment - not being able to face them and be with them after all this ends.

This has been so beautifully put Aps. I cannot agree with you more than the very fact that there love will conquer in the end. The very fact that the makers are willing to test this resolve through Maline shows that Imlie has a lot more test to work through before she is deemed the right partner for Aditya by the family. The angle on the earlier that I of social acceptance was easy for those people did not care in the end and that was proven through the challenge of the competition.

I think we said it than that they were never going to get people to see there perspective but they shall move on and find there next fix. This particular track has taken a turn we’re both Aditya moral values and love is being tested. He is going to have to walk through fire before being able to see the reward. Imlie will help him as always but I still feel he will burn an few bridges before she forgives him. She has told him already she is secure in the relationship and was with Maline being in it form the start as we have seen so many times.

It has always been Maline whom has not been able to own the truth she has been told and has not been able to break away from Aditya herself. The need to be his perfect partner doesn’t just stem from her home life but seems more down to whom she is really as a person. Her actions have taken her down a path were it’s all about her needs and not what a marriage requires.

She will see this strengthen in imlie relationship while hers will burn to the ground. One can play with fire but in the end the root of the matter is solved when the soil lays it down. Imlie is that balm which shall rise from the ashes of her own demons and fight till she has shown that the land she worships is the rightful path afterall.

Control is not taken but is given when both parties want to be in a relationship. This is a test of want v need and we all know whom will win in the end.

Juvvi9, do not go by what I say..I hardly watch ITV! I am gobsmacked by all this...but just laughing it away.. I have been told and read that this sells, so ok. Baki my positivity just streams from the fact that this is ITV, good will always win over evil and if I know even a little bit, in iTV, allz well that endz well! It does not matter to the makers how they reach that point...negative or positive publicity- both work in their favor. Looks like they will always go with the tried and tested formula. Oh well, for me it has come down to just watch AdiLie come to a culmination...when I start a show or a book, I have to finish it...if I dont like something, I skip, browse through but do reach the end...😊

It really helps to rant here though..😉
