Agreed. I dint like them one bit. Just get rid of those necklaces. Those fake eyelashes were more bearable than this.

Saree bhi was dull and it made her look older. (In today's episode) Even if they don't bring back PD waale sarees (which were so good!!) colour toh thode better waale le sakte hain.

Makers are trying to show all aspects which will confuse everyone.. Imlie bhi sahi hai.. DD bhi sahi hai.. They want to sail on two boats and imagine not to drown...

What the makers are not getting is that you cannot have it all ways in a narrative....you have to choose one narrative as your focal point for storytelling in order to anchor it/ground it.....or it will feel like khichdi....and wohi ho raha hai ab cuz they are trying to have it all ways.

It's even more insane that after showing Didi doing the many disgusting, manipulative, cheap things she's done, they STILL think they can sell the "Didi sahi hai" angle😕😆......Maybe at some earlier point in the story they could have shown both Imlie and Malini right in their own ways....but they've proven Malini to be a shallow bitchy woman since way back....toh ab is sabse kya dikhaana chahte hain?

It was so bizarre ki kal Didi ne Imlie ko bola main toh ghar se chali gayi thi phir bhi T family never accepted you.....lol and I was like what? When exactly did Didi leave? She literally popped over into the house EVERY OTHER DAY.....but she is allowed to spout her twisted bakwaas without any fact-checking. This is why this story is sinking.

Adi-Imlie always had their own little world that was special and pure....but now Didi ki bakwaas has been allowed to cloud everything sadly. Oh well.

Not sure if this gimmicks filled week will result in any point by the end of it, but next week tak I guess they may show someone from the Ts flipping or maybe Aparna accepting Imlie.

NDE doesn't seem likely now toh I guess yehi sab random gimmicks/rasams ke beech hi ho jaayega kisika flip.

Waise bhi the Ts seem to have mellowed enough ki Imlie ko aarti karne de rahe hain, uski Naani ko bhi set kar liya hai ghar mein.....bas muh banaaye ghoom rahe hain but baaki they are in grudging acceptance mode now.

The rate at which this is going, they may very well again show Aparna asking Malini to leave kyunki yahaan use bas "apmaan" mil raha hai😆.....same way she asked Malini to leave when Adi had left to go search for Imlie....aise kar lenge Didi ki so called "izzat" ko cover up and she can remain bechaari even while leaving....mehhh

Expose toh kisi ka kuch nahin hota dikh raha since Imlie apne ITV bahu mode mein busy hai aur Didi ka kuch tackle karne mein ise interest nahin.....bas baith ke Didi ki har agli chaal ka wait karegi before giving token responses and ofcourse ending each sentence with Didi ka tyaag or Didi ki zidd🥱.

Belatedly realizing that the Adi who's biggest motivation at one point used to be Imlie ki padhaai and career is now standing around like a statue watching her do bahu parade in front of his family in heavy sari/jewelery😆

What was wrong with the PD saree look that they decided she needed these chamkeeli sarees? Not that she looks bad, it’s just that there’s a disconnect that I cannot put my finger on. Maybe she’s feeling too much like everyone else? And looks older? Bas khatam kar de yeh chandni chandni khelna 🥱

The NN Malini scene was funny. Everything else I have no clue what’s happening. What is with forcing rituals down everyone’s throats 🤷🏻‍♀️ Ab milenge 🍭 🍭 bas

The disconnect is happening cuz it was never about her looking good or bad.....it was about what made her Imlie - the fact that she was never dependent on cosmetic enhancements to look a certain way......when you go into that zone, it won't feel like Imlie.....so that's what's happening now *shrugs*

Anyways for most people this sari/gehne stuff works cuz that is what most people watch ITV shows for....ki kisne kya kapde pehene hain. 🤔

The very thing that made Imlie stand out has been taken away from her😆.....the Adi who claimed to love her because she is sabse alag now wants to see her looking like everyone else😆. She's looking like a childish clone of Malini.....that's the worst part.

Lollipops bhi lame hi chal rahe hain ab cuz the chemistry has gotten so sidetracked/diluted now ki yeh log platonic se bhi kuch aur hi mariyal zone mein chale gaye hain😆.....Adi is content with talking to her like she's some kid playing dress up😆

Welcome to the new imlie jahaan sab ka sabb bas fakeness hi hai aur kuch nahi hai yahaann.. apparently I should accept this as AM 2.0 caz adi used to do pda then too..well sorry I never liked that then and won't like to now..agar mujbe fakers and plastic hi dekhna tha toh AM main kya buraai thi akhir 7 saal chalaye thay unho ne and if inka dynamic bhi wohi hona tha toh unhi ko dekh lete na hum

Remember she ain't bahu enough in shalwar suits and koi bhi bahu apne ghar ke kaam ko haath nahi laga sakti nobody is bahu until they are not in fancy saris

The episodes might be a tad better than what we have been seeing execution wise, considering they need to now actually pander to the TRP crowd, but they have changed everything. If you get what I mean...

NN is going to get crass really fast. She’s ok for an episode or two but if you put her character front and center, disillusion is bound to set in. Yesterday’s scene was a total filler. They probably wanted to show what goes around comes around too but 🤷🏻‍♀️ The episode was also average.

Word to what you mentioned about Imlie - agar ise jaake Malini hi banana tha toh Imlie kyun chahiye. Malini se shaadi toh ho hi chuki thi 🤷🏻‍♀️Their talks about substance above beauty is falling flat because those dialogues are now just random tokenbaazi. And Aditya Imlie have gotten awkward. I guess GM is bored with the track or something but they’ve been sidelined for so long that now being used in forced situations is just not coming through.

I have not liked their lollipops for the longest time and I’m not going to start liking them now just because rituals or something. Iss se accha khatam kar dete show ko because they clearly do not want to hold Malini accountable for anything and want to use Imlie only to get TRPs. Story pe toh kisiko dhyaan hi nahin hai

It is sheer disservice to their own genesis that they’ve decided Imlie needs to look a certain way in order to become the bahu. Like Aparna will suddenly accept because she wore Malini kind of sarees 🤷🏻‍♀️ There is a lot more underlying to her hatred than her looks alone.

I’m not liking what they’re doing to the show. Have not liked it for a long time now. I have no idea why I’m still watching though
