While I agree with the part that Aditya is big time responsible for the mess and his ill treatment with Imli cannot be justified either. However, Imli is not without faults of her own - and these were not just "minor" things. She actually destroyed Malini's marriage. She knew all along that when Aditya married Malini - he loved her. Yet she hovered about in T house and never once got Aditya to nullify her forced marriage. She never whole heartedly accepted the fact that Aditya was committed to someone else. If she had wanted, she could have nullified her marriage, she could have stayed away from T house. When Aditya told her to move on and achieve her goals - what did she do? Took off to PD instead of assuring Aditya that HE WAS RIGHT at that time. Instead, she threw a tantrum and took off to PD - where the script writers had a whole mahanta-pumped abduction and rescue saga planned.

As a woman, I absolutely cannot agree with Imli's character. One woman destroying other woman's house CANNOT BE DIVINE OR TRUE LOVE. Its appalling to say the least - nothing and nothing can justify it. Not even Imli's unlimited unreal illogical impossible mahantas.

The writers have it all wrong - no amount of white wash can change the fact that Imli as a human being is just terrible and horrendous

As far as I know Nobody consider Aditya as Saint but yeah I don't think him as a worst criminal too. Our mistakes doesnt defines us but how we rectify or work on it does.

Coming to Imlie, I dont think the onus of nullifying the marriage was at all on her. However, forcefully it was that marriage was real for her as She agreed to save Aditya's life for it. So, I think its not at all wrong for her to hold on to her belief when in return she never asked for anything. It was Aditya who said that he consider this marriage is invalid, So it was totally upto him to act on it. N why n where she should go? why Aditya should have it all easy n Imlie should suffer n fend for herself in a new city without money and support for saving his life and being married to him. How its fair? If Malini is married to Aditya in her world/society than Imlie too got married to him in hers.

N I have seen enough scenario not only in TV shows, movies but real life too, where girl getting married against a wish to a man who is/was already commited to someone else still consider him her husband n try to work on relationship. Here, I didnt find Imlie trying to do anything like that..she supported Aditya whole heartedly in his decision keeping her beliefs n pain to herself. Just bcoz Aditya was commited doesnt mean she cant have feelings.. this just makes her human n real for me.

N this is fiction. N all over world, most used concept followed is that ML/FL can do anything, its not new. So, I dont find it Makers way of white washing anything. On the contrary, Its commendable that Makers didnt take easy way, by showing third wheel as negative. Here, they showed all three characters as human who have their set of flaws n sometimes it is not human as such responsible for the circumstances but the fate/destiny plays its role.

I am sorry but I think there are just too many contradictions in lots of things here

On one hand you say - Just because coz Aditya was commited doesnt mean she cant have feelings.. this just makes her human n real for me - So why is this not applicable for Malini? She had 7 years with Aditya - married him out of love. When she tried to salvage her marriage - she was labelled as - don't even want to start

Agreed word to word. I just can't wrap my head around this mahanta. However i try to bring myself to ignore and root for adilie i just can't. I can't root for dishonesty cheaters and home wreckers.

As a woman I find Imlie strong and amazing. She has tried hard to aid Adi right from when she met him - getting sindoor to give to Malini for example, telling her mother that Adi had a fiance and so on, she saved him against her own wishes - she never wanted to be married - to save his life. nor did she want to destroy his marriage but tried to make it work for them, it didn't as there was no love there, and Adi was clearly falling for Imlie from day one. And so on. She is very sweet, good, kind and impressive. I would never think of her as divine, that' s just silly, but she has a very pure heart.

Again as a woman, I loathe Malini and her family, as I have met people like them numerous times and they are hateful. I have also known men who have married and realised that it was a great mistake as they were falling for someone else but married the first woman out of duty, which was disastrous and did not end well. In the end we are all human and flawed. How can any of us know who we were married to in a previous life if we do not follow our hearts and souls? People make mistakes, they misunderstand signals, they realise their dream was not what they wanted or needed after all. The brave thing is to admit it, and change things by quitting when they know things have gone wrong. Imlie cannot be held to blame for this and she has tried her best by following what Adi told her to do, first by his threatening his family would throw her out if she told the truth and later by trying to protect Malini's marriage, despite all the signs that she, Imlie, was chosen to be Adi's true wife.

In any case, surely the fact that Malini and Aditya were together for 7 long years ( a bit of an exaggeration as that would include becoming friends at college etc, before a proper relationship started), without even getting engaged let alone married, indicated that something was very wrong with this relationship from the start? Who really waits that long when they are truly in love?
