Just like Imlie did constantly after saying that she has immense love and respect for Malini. Just like Aditya kept running after Imlie when she told him that she didn't want to be with him. Just like Imlie continues to stay in the Tripathi house waiting for acceptance despite being berated so many times - desperation!

If Imlie initially couldn't walk away from a forced relationship, when Adi told her that she was his biggest problem, he doesn't want to be with her and even married Malini, then how can Malini walk away from a 7 year relationship and a marriage?

If its so easy then Imlie should have walked away when Aditya brought sent her out of her house. She had the opportunity to get her education and build her life.

Aditya only looses Malini as his wife in all this, but Malini looses a family.

Her biggest fear was to have a marriage like her parents, she even told this to Aditya. He continue to lie to her, got angry at her, more than anything I dont see why either Malini or Imlie will want to be with Aditya.

We are not talking about Aaditya or Imlie in this thread so sticking to the point of discussion : Malini is delusional and desperate to cling to her ex-husband and his family.

Malini could file a case IF she is his first wife. The law in India acknowledges a marriage between two adults legal and binding. May need to delve deeper if Malini can claim to be the legal wife.

Malini cannot however claim Adi cheated her or lied to her. He did tell her he married Imli at gunpoint in PD and she fainted, not his fault. Then doctor warned not to say anything as she was weak and could be dangerous to her health. So he went along and married her too.😔 A dumb thing to do but who knows if he was scared for her life if he called off the wedding.

Now we see more of her delusion surface even after Adi told her the whole story.

Just imagine she has dated a guy for 7 years and married him with whole hearted love.andsuddenly that person declares that he is over that marriage. Why becoz he was married and he found true love.

Come on just understand her situation.

Aditya should have made her understand and his whole family.But family still clings on to malini , even imlie wanted her back ....these all gave her hope.

Its not easy to give up. But then playing games is wrong. In this kind of situations women either just leave and go and rehab or fight for their rights. Which our indian serials show in the form of manipulation, scheming etc instead of law fight

I have a soft corner for this character no man has a right to play with women like that. Shaadi nahi karni thi malini se.

She loved (?)him or dated him or befriended him for last seven yrs and it's a relationship and not money which can give her monetary benefit , so why should they stay in a loveless marriage? She married him as he is her best friend and has a family where there is love ( apparently) between the family members and she craves for a happy family because of her disturbing childhood and her own unhappy family background. She thought that they would stay together out of friendship if not love and she was staying in this relationship with a very comprising way .It's better to break up than tolerate being in a loveless marriage. I think here Aditya is more rational as he decided to break up.

Well if you are comparing Imlie and Malini, then let me point out Imlie is a 19 year old teenager who has grew up in a backward village, conditioned to believe sacredness of marriage. Her belief in that marriage stems from Conditioning, but she never forced that relationship on Aditya ever, in contrast to what Malini is being doing.

Imlie did pursued her education, but she didn't dumped her faith in her marriage, neither forced it on anyone.

Aditya pursued Imlie because he knew she had feelings for him, again, it wasn't forceful but mutual.

Malini has all right to be hung up on 7 year old relationship, but hijacking the 'right' when Aditya isn't available looks crooked to me, when the man has explicitly told her that he doesn't see her anything more than a 'Friend' and is in love with Imlie who happened to be his first wife

Now, if she is that hurt, she can go ahead take a legal action against Aditya, but No, she choose to play passive aggressive games with his wife and compete on who saves Aditya first. Pathetic!

Forced marriages are illegal, so legally Malini is his first wife. Malini just wants to handle the situation in a more mature way, cause she has seen Imlie crazy ideas to get what she wants. But since the show's protagonist is Imlie her illogical actions will always win. Malini is not forcing herself on Aditya, yet, but I am hoping she would.

Having Aditya behind bars would be nice to see.
