She is a fattu number 1. She is afraid of showing her real emotions because she needs to maintain her mature mahaan image. She feels Adi has wronged her but fears taking any action against him so that she doesn't loose all connection with him. She fears telling him her real emotions that she still "loves" him because she knows he doesn't love her & will still reject her.

What she actually needs is a lot of therapy alongwith the positive support of her family & friends to get over this obsession with Adi. But since people ignore the faults in her personality, her real problem never gets recognised & she continues to feed into it.

Aur kitna positive support abhi kaunsa negative mil raha hai isse kuch ab kya sheeshe ke dabba main saja dein doll ko bas wohi reh gaya hai.. am sorry never seen such a shallow and useless pathetic human being in life on TV and real..not one redeeming quality not ONE

Positive support here doesn't mean the Didi bhakti that is done in the show🤣.

I meant actual support by recognising that she has faults & issues. Making her face her faults because she is not going to recognise her faults on her own. Going to therapy.

That kind of support which frankly no body in her circle can give her because she gets whitewashed & she is the bestum besht for everyone🤪.

I agree with you about never having such a character in my entire show watching experience. She is just so irritating like a macchar jo bhinbhinata hai on screen😆.

Even the reason she told a lie was white washed and selfless - apparently to make is easier for Adi to share his truth about his EMA because she also was confessing to one. The million dollar question for me always has been if the creatives truly wanted to portray Malini as good and selfless and went wrong with their characterization or if this was truly an intentional brilliant way to sketch a character that is made to superficially do all the right things but never evoke understanding or empathy or sympathy from the viewers because of the characters underlying psycho issue that is apparent to the users but never acknowledged, challenged and given a chance to change - because no one really cares that much about her.

Unless the script writers make Imlie, Adi and the rest of the gang see the true Malini and not their formal, bleached white version because of her one forced choice and their guilt...there is no scope for her being held accountable.

Mayuri can speak about her character growth until the cows come home - nothing will happen unless makers truly take a u turn. I had some hope with the last episode...where for the first time MAlini while walking away acknowledges to herself that her love for Adi is interfering with her divorce plans and what she wants to do for her sister. If only they continue with that :( That gave me some hope that makers may see the point all the viewers are raising and see if they can give her a better path than being hung up on Adi and coming between Adilie till the end of the show...but this is ITV and I'm not sure if that is expecting too much. Mayuri may not have her story and the intent for her may always be as a plot device for Adilie.

Some of the insta posts by Ankkhoney with regard to Malini's characterization have been eye-opening. Her inconsistencies are shown well...by pitting scenes next to each other. How can creatives explain such carelesssness in their characterization and story unless its intentional?

She is in a situation but I am not able to comprehend what is she actually trying to achieve.. Normally when we do any action their is some goal to it..

Though Adi had told her the truth before marriage but she fainted.... I don't know how can anyone faint on hearing any news.. They can go numb, angry shocked but immediately faint kaise ho sakta hai.. But anyways she fainted and then completely ignored the truth... But she is not at fault for not introspecting into it... Chalo give her benefit of doubt here and they went ahead in marriage.. She ignored all signs of Adi's disinterest in marriage... Not her fault.. Again we can give benefit of doubt to her... Now Adi told her that she is not his wife and Imlie is his first wife and his wife... After this news and news that Imlie is her half sister I am not able to understand what is Malini trying to achieve.. What does she wants..

She could have fought with Adi for her rights and claim that she will not leave him now that he has married her but she did not do that... She had to be sacrificing

She could have gone to police to put complain on Adi... But she did not..

She opted for a peaceful departure... And decided to move on... This was very nice decision from her to move on and get out of loveless marriage where other partenr is denying the relationship but I don't see any efforts from her trying to move on... Imli is not even close to being a decent human being - she is just a selfish attention seeking bechari who can go to any extend to harm anyone.

Let's also face the fact that Malini made up this story to get Aditya to speak the truth. How can this even be compared to what Aditya and Imli did? And no Imli and Aditya did not just "hide a lie"...they committed a crime. I WONDER WHY THIS GETS BRUSHED UNDER THE CARPER ALL THE TIME.

Fainting acha ya nahi acha lagna depends on How the actors sell it . Some don't like some like it. I love it when Adi faints. Trp increased with his one fainting which was decreased by EMA of Malini didi. KunMun. The Nakre Adi does before and after the fainting is one of a kind. Ek tho he doesn't go and fall over Imlie when he wakes up. He keeps a dignified distance mostly angry unlike Malini. Unlike Malini who is all over Adi . And now she is all over Kunal 🤭

AdiNi marriage was biggest joke of century. He made sure Imlie was safe kept her infront of his eyes . Then did the ritual in auto pilot And when Adi saved Imlie from Malinis cousin he said baat rishto ki hai . So Rishta was there even then

Imlie came back to Ts because Adi brought her back. Not because Ts brought her back or becuse she was attached to Ts. Its always Adi who mattered for Imlie. Lol Ts doted on her when she packed & went 1st time . She went since she thought Adi doesn't wanted her. She came back to be with Adi in that same house . For him even becoming Naukarani didn't mattered to herSecond time also she went when she thought he was going back to Malini. She came back for Adi not for Ts.

Unlike Malini who come to Ts every now and then to mandrao around Adi when he screams from the top of roof that she is not his wife. 🤣
