To conclude - no one says Malini is perfect but the fact is - as I have said before - she is a FAR FAR FAR superior human being compared to all Tripathis and Imli put together. She would NEVER DO what Aditya and Imli did to her - and this is where she is THE BEST CHARACTER. Imli is not even close to being a decent human being - she is just a selfish attention seeking bechari who can go to any extend to harm anyone.

Let's also face the fact that Malini made up this story to get Aditya to speak the truth. How can this even be compared to what Aditya and Imli did? And no Imli and Aditya did not just "hide a lie"...they committed a crime. I WONDER WHY THIS GETS BRUSHED UNDER THE CARPER ALL THE TIME.

I have read sssssoooooooooooo many theories trying to put Malini down - unfortunetly most of them have no facts AT ALL.

Face saving is one part of it, the other part is her obsession with Adi.....that obsession is beyond any logic or self-respect.

Like in today's epi also, she admitted to her mom that she feels ashamed that she is still unable to get over Adi after all this.....so her Mom again justified her by saying that it's difficult for her to get over Adi since Adi made many promises to her and didn't keep any of them. Both Maa-Beti have that lifetime excuse to use to blame Adi that he once made promises to Malini so it's understandable why Malini is still clinging to those past delusions even after Adi has cleared it up so directly to her and apologized as well.
