My issue is not that she has flaws, my issue is that we are expected to avoid seeing any flaws and only focus on her big sacrifice, when she has not done anything to warrant such bhakti. She is supposed to be some mahaan aatma who advocates for Adi & Imlie, when they do not even need it and her words are making it worse. She accuses Imlie of leaving her husband, when she herself has left her husband everytime she feels like she has been "wronged" without having a frank discussion with him regarding her feelings. She tried committing suicide without knowing the full truth, yet lied to Adi to get the truth out without again confronting him. The issue is that she is the worst version of her parents - spineless like her father, but vicious like her mother. That combination is just nauseating to watch on screen.

I was really amazed by SBS segment, people just criticize you just coz your daughter/son gets married to a maid?

Unfortunately dear, yes. People even today taunt you and talk behind you if your child marries someone below your caste or class. Also here the criticism is that Adi married Malini in front of the world, while his marriage to Imlie was in the gaon, not witnessed by anyone. So all of them are assuming an EMA (Despite the fact that Adi is divorcing Malini), thus all this criticism & hula hoo about not giving their aashirwaad to Pallavi & Nishant.

Wohi na. Even Adi gave those 7 years of his life to that relationship, but he realized that his feelings have changed and has apologized to Malini about that fact multiple times. Yet that Malini did not do anything about it and chose to remain silent has been touted as the biggest sacrifice, when usne kuch kiya hi nahi hai. She just went along with whatever Adi said just because she does not have the inner strength to fight with him or for him. She just wants him to comeback, yet wants to give him to her sister as if he is a toy. She cannot decide what she wants, yet expects us as a viewer to symapathize. Sorry not my cup of tea.
