Mithi satyakam were right they can sambaloo imlie.. Ond thing i expected was when mithi sk asked t members will accept her even after knowing her birt thing.. I was expecting him to say yea.. I think t family are above all these love imlie. They can nevee think like that ..but its all right time will show how they react.

Loved rupi didi ka concern for imlie.. She knw wbat exactly going in imlie mind.. I hope she convence her and nishant too join them to manavo cool bhabhi..

@bold - i think he said the sae just different words.. he is been consistent in saying they will accept imlie but if they dont then he had her back.. as parents you want reassurance that ur child will be protected.. I think aditya tried to give that protective feeling to Sk n mithi which is more important than that of acceptance..

Okay, finally saw the whole episode and I am ready to give my 2 cents, specifically after reading the alternate theories going around.

1. Imlie's rant was not just expected, but justified from her character's point of view. Whether she likes it or not, her truth will always have to face the harsh winds of the society she has to live in. That same society prefers to believe easy lies over difficult truths because it is convenient for them. I loved how she said that she was tired. That sense of helplessness and frustration has tired her to the point of exhaustion. The dialogue about being made to share her husband was uncalled for, but again true from her point of view. Destiny has played a cruel joke where both sisters love the same person and Imlie is feeling the weight of that today, more so than any other time.

2. The entire suhaag stealer speil. - Okay, unpopular opinion, but I get where that dialogue came from. I do not like it or agree with it, but I am trying to understand the thought process behind it. While we all agree that Imlie is the first wife legally & she did not steal anything. But the fact that she not only saw but actually allowed for Adi to marry Malini means that at that time in a way she gave away those rights in the eyes of the world. Now that Adi loves her and wants to be with her, even when the truth of their marriage comes out, the society is likely to still hold Imlie responsible for Adi & Malini's divorce. Reason being that they will always say that when she gave away her rights on Adi, why is she now taking it back just because Adi says so. This is how society will perceive it, no matter what the actual equation is between the characters.

In Imlie's case she feels that she will be put in the same bracket as her mom, despite doing nothing wrong and despite her situation being very different from her mother's. Also, Imlie still feels that she is taking Adi from Malini. While Adi never loved Malini, Imlie has always been shown that he genuinely did at one point of time. Like she said, Imlie was his zimmedari while Malini was his choice. Also the girl who said once that "Humne aaj tak kisi kai ek paisa nahi liya hai, kisika pyaar kaise cheen le" is bound to feel that much more guilty on finding out that the person whose "husband" (In quotes because he is not, but for Imlie he used to be) has left her because of Imlie, is going to have a very hard time accepting otherwise.

3. The great continuity question- Now here I am in 2 minds about what to think. I agree at some points the flow seemed off, but some things did seem fine to me. I hated that they showed Mithi equating her circumstances with her daughter's, though they are nothing alike. But I somehow was able to connect to Adi's worry in the end despite all the assurances he gave before. He felt like a regular person who despite everything is worried that even after assuring everyone about the space Imlie has in his life & his family and what he is willing to do for her, she can still leave him out of her misplaced notion that she will be giving him to her didi as a return gift. He is not a toy, but both sisters will treat as one, and his worry about being in the middle of that and losing her in the process was the reason for that conversation. Someone mentioned that he said that he was scared to go talk to Imlie. That was not what I heard. Rupi di said she will talk to her and Adi said "please do", more so because he felt that talking to Rupi di will help. Again, my opinion, you are welcome to contradict.

True. Adi was being very practical that despite everything, all he can control is his reaction, which will always be support for Imlie. That was the reassurance that SK & Mithi were looking for.

Loved the Episode.❤️

Thank you for this post n Loved the title of the topic.❤️...

@Apsvenky Completely agree. I too feel same about the points you made.

Regarding suhaag thing. Mithi N Rupi just voiced Imlie's POV ...what she will think. These two ladies themselves have gone through somewhat similar cicrumstances in their life, so them understanding n expressing how she will blame herself was okay for me. We all know Imlie has always blamed herself n how selfless she has been. No doubt, she loves Aditya n wants his saath but also she cant hurt anyone. N Also this Suhaag thing was not their(Mithi, Rupi or Imlie) prespective but how society or T family may see her.

Adi - Rupi scene: I wish it was planned better. It looked like CVs hurried to show that now Adi knows Rupi support them. Only thing I liked that Adi's fear of losing Imlie. Yes, he is ready to fight against everybody for her but at the same time he is scared that she may leave him for Malu or family. that just made him human.

👏Thoroughly enjoyed reading your post.
1.
Imlie’s reaction was more based on her shattered sense of identity than the facts that M is really her sis or Aadi and Amma thought that truth would break her heart. Off course the later 2 factors are there too add to the guilt but all ‘kabtak’ questions she had came from her helplessness and no control whatsoever over her own life. Aadi had no answers there, no one has. She is at age where one thinks the world can be grabbed with their resolution and here she is, despite being capable and righteous fate is cruelly playing with her life. Realising being ‘najayaz’ is something that she can never change and that is frustrating to the extent of giving up. She doesn’t have enough experience of life to understand jayaz/najayaz hardly has any impact when your resolve is strong. This is where I see why destiny chose a better knowing Aadi as her sazedar. She is yet to realise that aspect.

2. ‘Kisne kiska pati cheena’ is a debatable question. I agree with your pov that she knowingly gave her rights to Malini. Also from the very moment Imlie decided to get into this marriage she knew it was a sacrifice. She very well knew Aaditya was committed, so whether AM loved each other or no is immaterial when Imlie entered the equation well aware of the fact that she was the other woman. IMO the only way this can be resolved for her is if Imlie takes her out of equation and then let whatever happen( which is pretty evident now), baki Sita maiya sambhal legi 😊 So I am ok if Imlie takes a call to give up both Aadi and Malini, distance gives you a better view and helps making right decisions. don’t know what makers are planning.😶 This so called first right on a person can be argued to lengths but chronological sequence of events has nothing to do when it comes to relationships which stand the test of time. Rishta woh hona chahie jisme dono ka jivan saware.

3. Finally Rupi di talking to Adi was touching. He definitely needed support, watching your love crumble in front of your eyes is not easy. he had no option to be vulnerable in front of Imlie, Amma, Dadda, Nishant is not the person at this point for multiple reasons, so only Rupi di was the one he could share his fears with. He was searching for that person and Rupi di came, he straight away let it out ‘kuch bhi thik nahi hai’. I find that conversation well placed and performed.

my only concern for today was why Dadda left without talking to Imlie, at this point only and only SK can instil Himmat in Imlie, Aaditya has his limitations due to his non disclosure of DC truth stand and he has done all he could do.

Very curious about how they move the story forward now.🤞

Thank you for the amazing post Seera😃

Another fantastic episode high on emotions. Really enjoyed the performances of all actors.

Dev's betrayal shook imlie's vishaas today. She felt betrayed by everyone, including her BBSB. There was heart break in her voice as she asked him if he hid the truth from her. He told her what we all knew, that he did not tell her as Mithi did not want it and also because the truth would only shatter her.

She raged that dreams, rocks and glass can shatter. She doesn’t have the right to shatter. She wanted to come to city to find her identity, her father. But now that she found the truth, she was ashamed of her existence too. She saw her self as the result of the Dhoka. Not as the symbol of love Mithi told her she was.

The girl who proudly told BBSB that she wants to be a journalist and report the truth, become the voice of the weak was left wondering if the truth even matters. There was the truth that Mithi was cheated, Dev lied to her. But she spent her entire life getting blamed. And today she was called a characterless woman. So Dev's lies won over Mithi's truth. No one believed the truth.

She had truth to tell too. But would anyone believe her truth? Will she always be the girl who snatched away her sister's husband? Will she be blamed like her mother was? Will she have to live her life alone?

Aditya shook her to senses and told her fiercely that he will not let that happen. Mithi suffered because Dev was a coward. But he will always stand by her. He will protect her. Anyone who is against imlie is against him. Whether its Mrs C, samaj or his own family.

He did the only thing that would comfort her. Cradled her in his arms and let her cry her heart out❤️

Well said Aps! Imlie is beyond exhausted and so is Adi. Even though Adi was rock solid for her...he is scared because no matter how hard they try, the guilt is always 2 steps ahead of them. Sumbul nailed that breakdown scene so perfectly. A 19 years old is tired...tired of the truth, the world's perception...she is dejected when she says- "tutne ka bhi haq nahi hai and baarish ke paani mein ghul jaayen.."

This whole thing about suhaag and pati nahi baata karte-...Imlie ofcourse is caught in a web of delusions herself and that is where it is coming from. But maybe that is where Adi/Rupi di/Nishant will have to give her that perspective that what she is thinking is not the right way of looking at things. Yes, she was the one who gave away her rights, but at that point wasn't it the circumstances. Malini was weak. Adi had not realized his love for Imlie- they did what was right at that point of time. And we have atleast 50 episodes to prove that both Imlie and Adi tried to keep doing the right thing even though destiny kept giving them the allusion and kept increasing Malini's delusion! Sigh, the complicated web of emotions/relations these three lives are entangled in. Malini's lie of KC is going to make things only worse for them.

@Bold: Agree with you. He is not scared to talk to Imlie...He is scared of how Imlie is going to respond in this situation and he just admitted that to Rupi di. She offered to talk, Adi agreed, probably he thinks Imlie needs a friend, a sister like figure at this point.

Now I have a question- Will Imlie try to find Malini didi so she can tell her the truth that just got revealed and the truth that Malini already knows?

So well said! And that is exactly what she needed at that time. Enough words were spoken by then...but that strong hug was what calmed her down. A very strategically placed forehead kiss also by the makers! 😊
