It's not even that. Honestly I have no issues with him holding on to his memories or even continuing his friendship with Malini, as I would have been disappointed in his character if he hadn't. But again, touting it as a gehri dosti when it has never been so is where the disconnect comes. A dear friend does not put you on the spot the way Malini did today. Forget Malini, Adi ne kab usse gehri dosti nibhai? He let her get found by the authorities rather than find her himself, he never had seen her write but accepted that she wrote the poem, had issues with her classism, but brushed it under the carpet everytime she got uncomfortable, the list can go on.

So yeah, yeh gehri dosti mere palle to padhne se rahi, memories is the least of my concerns
