So Imlie has some extra lectures in college today and she would be getting home a bit late. She informs this to the family at the breakfast table. Nishant offers to pick her up .. Adi says he too may get home late and would be around the college zone so he will pick her up. Imlie leaves to college and Adi is pretty excited about evening, it is after a while he would get chance to pick Imlie and spend some time with her after the KC fiasco. He decides to take her to some restaurants/cafe for a quick bite.
In evening Adi has picked Imlie and she is happy to see him then on the way to restaurant Imlie says “ Babu saheb ee toh humar Ghar ka rasta nahi hain ...”
Adi : “haan hume bhook lagi hain toh thoda khana khake jaate hain”
Imlie: “Ghar ma toh khana hui hain”
Adi: “ par humara mann kuch accha chatpata khane ka hain”
Imlie is perplexed 🤔 and says ” ee ka hoyi raaha hain”
they enter the restaurant it is nice setup with nice music playing in background few ppl dancing 💃 they enter and wait to be seated and to their surprise Malini and KC are also there .
Adi tries to avoid them but Imlie being Imlie calls out ..he sshhh her saying let them spend time together then Imlie realizes what bailbuddhi she is ... Adi and Imlie are invited to join them.. by KC. He is pretty happy to see Imlie as Malini has forced this date on him and he was confused 🤷♂️.
Malini steps aways with her drink in hand and stands closer to the balcony looking towards the passing by traffic .. Adi notices she is aloof and decides to join her with his drink to just talk if anything was bothering her and they can seat on another table if she is not comfortable with them joining her and KC.
Adi - “Sorry aapki date humari wajah we kharab hogayi. Please apna mood spoil mat kijiye .. hum Imlie ko samalte tab tak woh chila chuki thi 🤦🏽♀️“
Malini - “ aisa kuch Nahi hain accha hain hum mile aur accha laga aap Imlie ko date par leke aaye “
Adi - “ haan lekin uss jhalli ko yeh pata bhi nahi hain 😆”
suddenly in the crowd , some1 has proposed some1 and they have accepted it and love is in air and they are pulling ppl to the dance floor in that Adi - malini gets pulled to the dance floor Adi thinks looks at Imlie who is busy sipping water with straw he smiles and goes with the flow and decides to dance with malini ...
KC watches them dancing and is a bit annoyed .
Monologue- “ muje ladkhi bhi nahi mili aur mera naam bhi kharab ho gaya 🤪 and he chuckles “
Imlie see him smiling by himself and starts her conversation..
Imlie - “Sorry woh hum aapki date kharab kardi “
KC - “Aare nahi, toh tum kya khaoogi hum order karte hain . Un loggo ka dance khatam hoga tab tak khana bhi aajayega “
Imlie - “ haan par hume pata nahi yahan kya milat hain hum firsttt time idhar aaye hain”
KC - “Koi nahi hum, humare hisab se order karte hain unko kuch aalag khana hoga toh woh log aake decide karlege”
KC places order.
KC to Imlie - “ tum kya padh raahi hoo”
Imlie - “Hume nah badi Wali Police officer banah hain, isilye humne Geography liya hain .. par socht rahi agriculture lete toh aapan gaav mein kheti mein sudhar latte “
KC - “wow toh tum IPS banah chahti hoo”
Imlie - “woh ka hot hain”
mean while adi and malani are engaged in dancing Adi looks at Imlie to check how is she doing and he sees she is having conversation with KC and he continues...
KC explains her about IPS officers role and responsibilities she gets excited and thinks this is exactly what I want to be .
Imlie - “ Oohh baneke liye hume kya karna hoo ga “
KC - “ Mera ek dost IPS just bana hain hum tumari baat karva denge aur woh tume aapne notes bhi degega ,woh Kafi time se try kar raaha tha abb jaake usne crack kiya “
Imlie - “crack kiya matlab”
KC - “ Pass huaa, IPS banah aasan nahi hain baut mehnet karni padti hain aur lagaan se padhna padta hain, kahi logg apni aaddhi zindagi nikal dete hain exam crack karne mein”
Imlie is so glad that she met KC who gave her direction to her destination.
Imlie - “Thannkooo”
KC - “Tume apni bhasa par mehnant karni hoogi . Hindi kadambari ya akbhar padhna suru Karoo regularly tumari bhasha sundar jayegi aur current affairs pata rahege . Aur thankoo nahi Thank - you bolo.
Waise tumara thankooo cute hain par IPS ko apni bhasa par pura control hona chaiye. Saaf baat karogi toh robb badega 😊”
Imlie - “Thank you 😊”
now they start conversation where she pulls his leg by teasing him with malini didi’s name .
KC asks her to refer him as KC and not Chauhan babu and he says he will not discuss about Malini with her as he knows a different side of her which she is not aware and it is special to him 😋 and he mummer - I hardly knw her to talk abt her 🤪
So Imlie starts talking about her chuari amma and PD in a funny way and they give high five 🙌 to each other .
Adi notices this and sees them giggling 🤭 he is uncomfortable but malini seems to be not bothered and njoying the dance so he thinks let me continue for few minutes and then go back .. but now the giggles have turned into laughs and he is very restless he tell malini “wapis chale hume bhook lagi hain “
at the table when they get back these 2 don’t realize and are still talking abt PD . Adi coughs to get their attention and
Imlie - “kaisan raaha aapka naache “
KC clears his throat, Imlie then again asks “ Aapka dance kaisa raaha”
And gives a smile to KC .. and KC and she gives high fives 🙋♂️ 🙋🏽♀️ to each other
Adi is really uncomfortable , food arrives he glares at both of them(KC - Imlie), they comfortably serve each other and others too. Everyone finishes their dinner and disperse while leaving Imlie say “ bye malini didi bye KC aur woh information jarur dena “ with a big smile.
Adi is fully “J” but can’t express he ask Imlie. “ Chauhan babu se direct KC , accha jab hum dance kar rahethe tab tum log kya baatein kar rahe the!”
she tell him about their IPS conversation and was thankful to KC abt it ,that conversation hits Adi like a jolt reminding him that he has been so self engrossed and has been neglecting her studies/ career path and have involved her in cleaning up his Raita . He decides going fwd he won’t do that.
They are sitting on the bike and he request her to sit the way she sat while holding banana leaf she sits and then places her hands on his shoulders he takes her hand and place on the shoulder from underarms and hold both her hand tight with his and tells her to hold him tight . He feels Sukoon she is so close to him . Imlie too holds him tight 🥰 rests her face on his back and he starts his bike with a sense of responsibility and contentment and off they go to their sweet home 🏡 with new aspirations 💕
