Agreed it was pretty infuriating to watch adi being guilt tripped into staying silent but we as audience have character analysed malini into soo much depth that i feel we are pretty disconnected with what the other characters in the show know.

We seem to be forgetting here that aditya and malini were together for 7 yrs. Malini in a few months has already understood how to trigger imlie into feeling guilty soo it makes sense if she already knows how to trigger and guilt adi into staying mum, like the back of her hand. And for adi we still need to put a thought in his shoes. Aditya has been with this lady for the past 7 yrs and even if he hasnt been in love with her for those years there still must have been a basic human bond of decency and completely disregarding her health at this moment would have seemed insensitive.

We have already seen an adi that took a strong stand against AC but the same cannot be done with malini because he has grown to care for her and specially not now when she is just recovering from a suicidal self harm injury. We may have varied opinions about how much of that suicide attempt was a guilt trapping move but in real life when a person self harms everyone around him/her is extra cautious not to push them into a state of stress and that i am speaking from personal experience.

As for how the tripathi ladies behaved today i think it was a quietly well done move by the makers. I think this turn of the characters was not to blindly glorify malini but to give a sudden jolt of realisation to imlie that the same people who she is prioritising above aditya and herself will absolutely abandon her at the drop of a hat if the situation demands it and she will have to stand up for herself and her own self respect as well as her relationship with her babusahib.

This just might work as a wake up call for imlie to get her priorities straight and stop being the naive self sacrificing girl that she is.

I also believe that aditya's inaction rn is solely on the consideration that his action will create more problems for imlie. Aditya now knows how his one move of dropping imlie off from her college created a huge scene at both the C house as well as the T house and he has seen the blatant accusations of his own family regarding imlie just now. If he at this point takes imlie back with him it will raise several questions on not just him but imlie as well and he may also have thought that imlie isnt in the need of immediate rescuing since she was already looking for a hostel accomodation.

This was just my opinion on today's episode and you are quite free to disagree.

Adi's consideration for Malini's health is well & good but he was still arguing with her today as well. Just that he quickly shut up. So what kind of consideration is he showing to her health? Is his consideration only about his & Imlie's truth, rest all he is free to have arguments with her?

Also after Malini's lie that she committed suicide because of her feelings for some ex-BF , Adi was shown to be free from the guilt of her suicide already. He is now under the impression that she has also stopped loving him & is ready to move on from this marriage. So why is he not telling her the truth?!

Also Adi's inaction right now being due to not wanting to create more problems for Imlie is a faulty reasoning. He had already realised this after the sindoor drama. But still he keeps on going to meet her. So how is he trying to not get Imlie into trouble. Imlie is already in trouble & hence sent away to C house. This toh even amAdi knows. So I don't agree with this reasoning.

Adi not revealing the truth to Malini now would have made sense if Malini had not spun the tale of her being in love with her ex-BF & Adi believing that she committed suicide due to their martial problems. Right now the story is just being dragged uselessly.

I agree that the Tripathis being extra rude to Imlie without any proof is contrived for isolating Imlie. But really it is butchering for Aparna's character as well that she is treating Imlie like she really is the sole reason for Adi-Malini marriage failing without any proof.

Everyone is pakaoed because of Didi bhakti by everyone & the truth ka carrot being dangled since Holi epis. That is my POV.

Yes, it is the inconsistency that dilutes the storyline around this sadly.....they are all now acting like her suicide attempt cancels out all the ugly shouting matches that happened before where Adi made his contempt for her pretty clear.

So now these token pushbacks he does asking her to samjhaao her mom are super LOL....as if he doesn't know how her mom is and for how long Malini also has just brushed aside her mom's bakwaas more or less.

If they want to do fillers, that's fine.....but why bother with these token convos between Adi-Malini too then that just end up diluting the previous set of scenes.

How I would love it if someone asked Adi one day ki why did you marry Malini if you find her mom so disgusting and you could see she thinks her mom is more or less justified in her "worry for her daughter"....lol.....but they will never have the guts to show that.....cuz Malini bhakti is supreme.

It's all so bizarre that he allowed Malini to dump the whole blame on Imlie for having lied to AC and that apparently JUSTIFIED her mom's psychotic rampage over in T house but yeh bas mute banaa sunta raha with just a half-hearted "Imlie ko beech mein kyun laa rahi ho" sentence....what nonsense.

Ek taraf they want to keep the "compassionate friend" angle going, dusri taraf Malini is giving him obvious attitude like she can't stand to be in the same room as him, still this strange naatak is being continued.....even contrivance is feeling like too mild a word for it now. Whole family knows about their bedroom issues, their act in front of the family is so half-hearted that no one buys it, but they still must continue to live together in the same room?😕

Imlie is the only character who is operating as per her beliefs & convictions. We all already knew she is going to do Didi Jaap based on her character sketch. The bigger annoyance is from the daily Didi flips and the lack of pushback regarding Mrs. C ki bakwaas....the fact that they all seem happier than ever to do her ghulaami and expect Imlie to do it too is beyond disgusting. Adi ne empty bhaashans hi dene hain toh ek din yeh token line bhi maar de ki sab log Mrs. C ki GHULAAMI kyun karte hain? 🤔.....cuz bas bolne ko bolna hota hai na is story mein...follow up toh hoga nahin....so bolne ko hi point out kar do how everyone acts like Chaturvedis ke slaves all the time.

As for Imlie, yes she is very much in character and yes, she understood why T ladies are behaving that way with her but I do feel that this will leave a mark on her too in terms of how they pushed her away so easily after claiming so much love. Cuz what they did to her was worse than nikaaloing kisi apne pe gussa.....they were treating her like a stranger they don't want to have anything to do with since they think she has misled their son.....lol

Yeah they will flip them later into a random apology but the point has been proven that they will indeed prioritize Malini over her despite all the grand claims of Imlie humari beti jaisi hai....lol....didn't take them a second to throw her to the wolves and then double down with lack of remorse since they can't control their own son.

If the writers were interested in any actual build up, they would use a Rupi-Adi convo to set up Rupi giving him a reality check about how he needs to resolve this Malini issue ASAP since Imlie is being squeezed from all sides for his mistakes and being treated like an outsider when she has a legitimate right on this house.....and Adi could then decide to go to the HM trip to get the talk with Malini out of the away.

Instead we are subjected to daily rinse/repeat of aimless stalemates and psychotic tantrums from loser maa-beti....mehh.

Exactly.....LOL so this isn't about us supposedly having done too much "in depth analysis of Malini"....God knows I would be more than happy to never have to speak of her again but humaare sar pe baith ke nachaa rahe hain use roz.....ughh anyways.....this is about the fact that Adi's stance on Malini is also not being shown consistently.

Last time they talked, he was supposedly feeling guilty that she couldn't be with her true love for whom she actually committed suicide😕.....today it's suddenly back to him being guilt tripped by her as if she's doing him a favor by staying in his house and his room and he's the one bringing Imlie between them.....no one bothers asking ki ismein Imlie ka kya connection hai if Didi has told her own independent story of how she supposedly wants to be with someone else? Bas Malini ne Imlie ka naam le liya toh Adi ka mute button dab jaata hai......so then what was the point of the whole fake loverboy story anyways?

This isn't about us having "analyzed too much"....this is about the writers not keeping the character interactions consistent from one scene to the next......they can't have it both ways ki Adi argues with Malini on random topics but suddenly goes into mute mode when she brings up Imlie....cuz the health excuse should work on all arguments, not some for convenience. This is why it starts to become eyeroll worthy then......already the suicide aspect has been made a joke of in the story.....to then expect us to show latent "sensitivity" for it when it's being used so flippantly.....that's ridiculous.

Yes AY and also as Lodestar pointed out yesterday it could be that Anu comes to know that HM is cancelled and she is going to take it all out on Imlie. But whatever it is I just want that confrontation to happen soon 😆 at least story will move by Imlie leaving for PD as per the promo😆

LOL oh right, AC may show up in T house again to check the status of the HM trip😆...you know, just "normal FIKAR" of a mom for her daughter apparently.....and when she learns ki HM is cancelled, it will be time for another psychotic rant unloading on Imlie.

But then I still don't get how Imlie will reach the conclusion of Adi doing pyar ka naatak with her....lol I thought that will come from AC exaggerating and telling her stuff about how Adi-Malini are happy together....but now I don't know....maybe Adi will say something to Imlie in anger too possibly that will make her feel upset again....just like the Ts mistreated her today, will the writers go the distance of showing Adi mistreating her again too? lol anything is possible in this lame attempt at a build up to justify her leaving for PD.
