Edit: the blue, the personal attack it was from Another Adili shipper but due disagreement on one of imlie statement not due to Malini argument , just to be clear👌🏻

Yeah, I guess the show is such both the camps get easily defensive about their respective povs. It’s just I thought the extent one is willing to go is larger than the other, especially on sm. It’s just according to what I have seen since the past few months.

I remember what forced me to start participating in discussions and start posting my pov was this one really disgusting post about aditya just made for the purpose of talking shit about the character and anyone who likes it. That was not a discussion, that was just attacks. And I try to have constructive arguments but that made me sensitive to any form of criticism for a while, the words used were so horrible it took me a while to get over it. That’s why I said some people have become sensitive to it, just my viewpoint. But yes, I have seen a couple adilie shippers here who need to learn to draw a boundary too, especially the die hard shipping, I try to stay away from that too because of the taking it personal each time. No need to get dangerously aggressive over a ship or characters.

We need to understand if there’s space for discussion we can discuss but if there’s not we can just leave that topic of discussion or not enter it in the first place. When I start feeling like I am talking to a wall, I leave.

And also, please don’t stop expressing your thoughts. This platform is made for discussion on the show and you watch it too. Report if anyone goes personal and if anyone’s being rude ask them to talk in a better manner. If they still don’t get it, just leave that topic.

Edit: I think I know who you’re talking about. Please don’t stop posting because of them. I like your replies in the posts and I really enjoy reading it. I’d love it if you continue giving your opinions x

If you have issues with Malini flip-flopping, then Aditya and Imlie are no better. Aditya does not communicate at all, goes away and barely says anything to Malini and then she gets even more paranoid. If she can be blamed for not confronting, then he should also take the ownership of telling the truth even if it hurts her. Now everyone is wary of her condition. but this will just prolong the paranoia. Best to rip the bandaid and even Malini has no choice but to confront the truth. He's the root of all the problems so why can't he just take charge? And he himself "abused" Imlie before but he's in love with her now so that's OK.

And Imlie, she also flips flops trying to fulfill wife duties and at the same time, maintain distance. Like how? She calls Malini her friend, yet wears her husband's sindoor. And Imlie almost left but then they had that forced Aditya kidnapping just to bring her back.

Malini's mom was right in recent eps, she keeps saying she wants to leave but never does. She can go to the hostel but stays because Malini's dad told her to. At some point all of these characters need to grow a spine and make some tough decisions. It's just painful to watch at this point; everyone is suffering. And of course Imlie is Malini's step-sister. It will just be a slap in Malini's mom's face when she finds out why her husband/mother-in-law are adamant in keeping her around.

And I don't like how Aditya's sister? sister-in-law? tells Imlie she is his first wife and therefore has the right over him. I just hate the importance given to marriage - forced marriage > 7 years relationship. At least give it time before she starts supporting Adi/Imlie.

Imlie and Adi should have just nulled their marriage and let her study and get married to someone else. Malini should have just followed her mother's advice and marries someone rich instead lol

Exactly dear! The words in bold reflect our thinking .. because this is such a hypothetical situation that majority in the country won’t encounter .. bus filmo mein dikhta hai so public also borrows that same logic .. tell me an instance where a city guy got forced married, and he without getting it annulled gets into another wedding.. and then after two weddings he thinks that first wedding is the one he wants and just tries to discard the second ..late realisations don’t work in marriages but this show has made it so easy!!!if this was an entirely village based show then it would have been understood.. but here Adi is well educated from a city like Delhi and he’s a journalist .. he doesn’t have a spine to put the villagers in their place but rather he chooses to vent his frustration on Imlie alone.. in real life, the guy would have got it real bad..

So in short I don’t support Malini because she is perfect or flawless but because she is best of the lot. Don’t feel attacked babe, all of us just have fun here with different ideas and povs. As long as no one is being rude.

exactly in the beginning I used to relate to all three characters but right now I cannot stand either adi or imili and I know malini will joined the list soon so I have stop watching just reading update in the greed for trp they ruined a good story

The story is going exactly the way it was supposed to go since the start. These characters were not supposed to be perfect. The whole story is based on a guy being married to two women ofcourse it’s going to be messy. All three have their own flaws, some like malini with her flaws and some like adi imlie with their flaws. We’re all watching it for our own characters, and some as neutral viewers for the storytelling, but they’ve certainly not changed the story for greed this is what was supposed to happen since day one. If the repeated piya tose bgm was not an indicator enough creaters’ and actors’ interviews pointed to the same since the beginning, imlie is one of the few shows which has reached 150 and hasn’t lost its originality.

Read it again. I asked for no attacks from everyone. Not just malini fans. Every viewer of the show. Gave reasoning for the points I was attacked on a personal level for and then asked for a stop to personal attacks. Not towards any fans specifically, it’s a general request to everyone.

Edit: it’s also a reaction to actions btw, there’s been a lot of bashing and hatred. From what I have noticed most anti malini people always speak against malini as a character and leave it at that, while the anti adilie and pro malini ones always almost always have a comment like ‘kaise log hai support karte hai’ attacking moral values and stuff like that, it’s only natural for people to become sensitive to it after a period of time and associate it with the character. But despite all that, I’d like it if we could all keep this forum a place we can all discuss what we want to regarding the show within the boundaries of respect. Hence, a request to everyone.

Multiple times main iss thread mein bol chuki hoon in a show like this arguments happen and people sometimes even get rude but we are talking about personal attacks here people going towards family etc. Go a bit back and see the threads regarding aditya where extremely horrible words were used for the character and people who like him. I am talking about things like that and deeply personal comments. Across all platforms not only IF. Clear difference between difference of opinion, rude comments and vile and degrading personal comments.

Even you have commented on a person who liked imlie’s thread giving your opposite opinion, and other times too and even I have commented on Malini threads explaining or sometimes when I got mad, but I don’t consider it a part of the people who I was referring to here. Neither you nor I have gone that far. This thread is not referring to viewers like you and me.
