Bull shit .... again bashing Malini for no reason...work harder with your fault finding about her...all the things you mentioned are baseless

not sure what happened to you, but atleast be happy you are being allowed to post your thoughts without being ambushed by the majority adilie fans here
I now think twice to post anything because of the sheer negativity for contradicting opinions..
Read it again. I asked for no attacks from everyone. Not just malini fans. Every viewer of the show. Gave reasoning for the points I was attacked on a personal level for and then asked for a stop to personal attacks. Not towards any fans specifically, it’s a general request to everyone.
Edit: it’s also a reaction to actions btw, there’s been a lot of bashing and hatred. From what I have noticed most anti malini people always speak against malini as a character and leave it at that, while the anti adilie and pro malini ones always almost always have a comment like ‘kaise log hai support karte hai’ attacking moral values and stuff like that, it’s only natural for people to become sensitive to it after a period of time and associate it with the character. But despite all that, I’d like it if we could all keep this forum a place we can all discuss what we want to regarding the show within the boundaries of respect. Hence, a request to everyone.
Wow, absolutely loved your review. I stopped giving any importance to that delusional madam's character. She is only sugarcoated there is no value added in her role. After doing all sorts of antics she still came back with Adithya who does that . Hope this dragging track should end and give me my sigh of relief.
I am nearly almost done. I keep fluctuating between exhaustion and keeping a little hope alive. The latter is only because the separation hasn’t happened yet and I want to see what she’ll be like after that. Hopefully has some growth as a character. Let’s see though, I don’t have high hopes. The exhaustion keeps winning, she has almost drained me.

Read your post again, still stand by what I said..a token one paragraph requesting all fans not to fight doesn’t really send across the peace white flag..
no it not a reaction, if you observe this forum, the adilie fans ganging up is crazy, the moment someone tries to explain malini’s pov, you’ll find indirects floating around, invalidating people’s opinions by calling them on not watching the show or whatever high horse they are on, and shamelessly personally attack. That’s why you don’t find many opinions posted here to discuss anything on malini’s pov. You can discuss malini, only if you agree on her being classist/elitist/ whatever is the majority opinion.
I am not trying to invalidate your experience nor trying to start a fight with you, I’m sorry you had to experience nasty personal attacks but I just felt it was such a joke on calling out personal attacks, when that’s being happening all along with the Malini supporters all along. Anyway I didn’t mean to post but just couldn’t help myself 😆
I don't really like how this serial is being stretched out. I haven't been watching this show as closely but there are some scenes which I didn't process the same as you.
If you have issues with Malini flip-flopping, then Aditya and Imlie are no better. Aditya does not communicate at all, goes away and barely says anything to Malini and then she gets even more paranoid. If she can be blamed for not confronting, then he should also take the ownership of telling the truth even if it hurts her. Now everyone is wary of her condition. but this will just prolong the paranoia. Best to rip the bandaid and even Malini has no choice but to confront the truth. He's the root of all the problems so why can't he just take charge? And he himself "abused" Imlie before but he's in love with her now so that's OK.
And Imlie, she also flips flops trying to fulfill wife duties and at the same time, maintain distance. Like how? She calls Malini her friend, yet wears her husband's sindoor. And Imlie almost left but then they had that forced Aditya kidnapping just to bring her back.
Malini's mom was right in recent eps, she keeps saying she wants to leave but never does. She can go to the hostel but stays because Malini's dad told her to. At some point all of these characters need to grow a spine and make some tough decisions. It's just painful to watch at this point; everyone is suffering. And of course Imlie is Malini's step-sister. It will just be a slap in Malini's mom's face when she finds out why her husband/mother-in-law are adamant in keeping her around.
And I don't like how Aditya's sister? sister-in-law? tells Imlie she is his first wife and therefore has the right over him. I just hate the importance given to marriage - forced marriage > 7 years relationship. At least give it time before she starts supporting Adi/Imlie.
Imlie and Adi should have just nulled their marriage and let her study and get married to someone else. Malini should have just followed her mother's advice and marries someone rich instead lol

This is not my first time saying this, I have already done it times before even though I have hardly been here a couple weeks. I am not gonna be repeating myself again and again. I said what I felt that’s it. I also still stand by what I said, no adi imlie supporter go as far as the antis go in the bashing part. I am not supposed to be fighting for anyone or waving the white peace flag, in a show like this there’s bound to be a clash of opinions and even people being rude I am just asking people to draw a line when it comes to actual people you’re interacting with, when I thought there was a scope for discussions I had discussions in the malini threads or any other when it started reaching a point I was uncomfortable and felt no more discussion could occur I left. As simple as that.
Excellent points. Malini is a person with insecurities which is reflecting through her behavior

I actually think aditya and imlie have been pretty true to their core characterisation since the beginning. I understand why you think they fluctuate too though, it’s because of the change in the dynamics but it was a long time coming, the setup for it started around episode 50 or something, the dil se track was where I felt Aditya’s subconscious feelings for imlie started developing. He’s been pretty consistent in his core characterisation the only change was falling in love with imlie which has been a journey since day 1, not something you could pinpoint exactly when it happened. I don’t think the 7 year relationship had any substance to begin with, it seemed like both malini and adi were in it for different reasons and like malini had been making compromises while aditya was never really interested just mistook comfort for love. I think the progression of the story has been pretty wonderful in that aspect, of showing how one relationship was superficial and the other one started bonding on an emotional level.
As for imlie, to understand her you have to look at her from her cultural pov, aditya to her will remain her husband for the rest of time. The marriage’s legality on a paper does not matter to her when she was married in the eyes of her sita maiyya. She did leave everything but aditya fell in love with her and brought her back, being in love she couldn’t stay away and they showed that phase of surfacing emotions really nicely you did see it didn’t last long right? She quickly realised it couldn’t work and started distancing herself from him, to her the sindoor only remains a symbol of her marriage. Her malini didi jaap is annoying af, but considering the circumstances since the beginning of the show till now it makes sense, to her malini is the one who supported her when adi wasn’t there, malini calling her a naukrani and her nightmare also confirmed she also has abandonment issues, probably due to dev, so she fears losing the tripathis hence does not want the family to fall apart even at the cost of adi and malini suffocating together with each other she’s forcing them together, and even at the cost of her own self, that’s her character flaw, selfishness and fear mistaken for mahanta.
And yes I have a problem with the labels too, especially pehli patni stuff, this show I don’t watch attaching labels with I watch it for the complexities of changing human emotions and I thought aditya and imlie had developed an amazing emotional bond and that should be the thing they need to focus on. Not the pehli patni crap that’s not what it’s about, might be true but not what we need to focus on. But I guess that’s what it is for the trp audience and that’s why they give it focus no matter how much I wish they’d keep it about the emotional connect. As for rupi, she’s just reliving her own experiences through imlie, wants justice for herself through imlie as well, her intentions are not all one singular line. All of these characters have many layers to them, that actually makes them worth watching to me.
Tbh rn, I am just waiting for these torturous episodes to move forward so I can see imlie growing a spine again like she had in the initial episodes. I understand the need for going slow and that a lot has happened, especially malini’s suicide attempt probably traumatising her, but there’s so much torture I can watch as a viewer honestly. I need her to speak up soon.
Edit: the points I quoted from you are too logical for a daily soap especially one with so much complexities. Aise hota toh show kaise chalta behan? 😆 I am working with what we have lol. Owing to the characterisations even what happened as it did happen makes sense.
I am totally with you!
But disagree on one point!, that Adili fans, and Imlie's show fans do not bash and personal attack others!
Ok I am an Imlie show fan and Adili shipper to,
But I was also sympathies with Millani before realizing her character as you describe it here
So I can't ignore the gang-up and personal attacks (it hurts very much when some one point at your morals due disagreement!) and mocking my views back then via hidden rebuke. It happens to me in this very forum, and I think I got blacklisted by some of these members too 😂
So it is a two way road! You cant ignore the other fact when you stand in one road, I had been their, because like you I am watching the show for it is plot, storytelling and amazing execution! Not for any specific character or couple!
But this is a fact That I learned the hard way too, none of the two views will ever neither accept or try to understand the other, no matter how you and me and other trying to make a healthy and understanding environment because both parties believe their pov is the absolute truth, and others is such insane to just think otherwise!
What can you do if most of them are base their opinion on reading WU! FF the unwanted scene, or watching from half the story! Or just view the story from their pov and relate that to their own life, and also some of them bash it for other regional versions! So how can they really see the big picture and understand the story as the maker deliver it to us!
So I just gave up of defending or expressing my thoughts, most of the time just silent reading, and trying my best not to be triggered and post to replay in such a thread that I know it will not be understandable!
Edit: the blue, the personal attack it was from Another Adili shipper but due disagreement on one of imlie statement not due to Malini argument , just to be clear👌🏻
