Aa gayi 😆 A small Aditya appreciation post after today’s episode because it was that kind of an episode

I have said this once in another thread too. The reason I started watching this show was because of Aditya’s “nahin cheenenge” during the nashe mein Imlie at the mehendi episode that was playing at a friend’s house. It was those two words that got me watching this show. The inflection that came when he said those words, it was as though he understood the exact pain with which Imlie asked “will you take away my SM also from me”.

The Aditya in today’s episode has actually come a full circle, almost. He can act impulsively but is unshakable once he decides on something. Love has softened the edges a bit, making him vulnerable, but he will not cede his principles for it. He is repentant about his actions but also ready to be held accountable. All traits that make up a paragon of a perfectly imperfect human being.

His scene with his parents said so much more than what you see at first glance. It spoke about the mountain-like strain that comes on the shoulders of every individual in a household who slightly outperforms others. They carry with them the overwhelming onus others hold that they are the only ones who are expected to be the problem-solvers. All the while discounting their issues. Aditya is going to bear this burden for a long time to come. Especially because Imlie still does not have the acumen to get these vulnerabilities in him to support him through it. Her presence however will carry him through and that should be enough.

This is just to show how much she loves Aditya and to what extent she can go to get him. Like Adi said woh bimaar hain and this is to show TRP audience how very bimaar she is in the head too and hence he cannot tell the truth just yet as it will affect her. Also a way to extend the truth reveal as long as possible.

I am also with AY here that she might just do a strategic cut and they might reveal this much later when they show her true picture but we will have to wait to see about that 🤣

As Fary said, ITV mein everything and anything can happen even people coming back from dead if required for the plot without a rational reason and even after a body was shown 🤣🤣

Strategic cut. My god 😲 I obviously have been spared quite a bit of ITV crazy so far then! Glad you girls have my back 😆

That was my fav scene from today as well. He is everything to her isn’t he- a lover, friend and a mentor and a true partner. Which makes it all the more frustrating that Imlie is not seeing that. I hope the writers bring back our Imaliya soon.

Or may be it has something to do with Imlie not willing to fight for her haq just yet. May be something has to happen to make Imlie realize how much she loves him.....dunno- just throwing these thoughts out there

I have full faith in Aditya that this is one of those sentences he said to get Imlie out of her didi jaap headspace. Just like he promised her to never hurt Malini, or he told her he will leave for mumbai, or he told her that he will give her time during sindoor scene, or like he told her she can leave the house and go. This is typical Aditya. You cannot take anything he says seriously when it comes to dealing with imlie’s stubbornness. 😆 Woh karega wohi joh usko karna hain. He is extremely honest about his feelings but bolne ke liye kuch bhi bolega. 😆

And if Pari works with Malini to annul the marriage then god save pari from Aditya’s wrath.

hhahahah yes the pshycho paths do quite a lot strategically esp in gul land.. the 3rd angles always indulge in extremes to extract what they want.. hahah humse poocho jinho ne tanveer aka ( billo rani )bhi jheli hai the most psychoooooo villain of all of gul vamps.. the woman alone finished generations and generatiosn of ahmed's in her psychopanti.. God it may never come to that level.. Here Ameen. i won't get into details here caz for one they are gory and 2 irrelevant here..

but yeah didi ka strategic cut is also pretty mild in comaprison.

I think it was a HUGE relief after 3 days of non-stop Didi related torture to see someone embracing Imlie and advocating for her like this without a second thought....in moments like these it just hits you so hard HOW alone that poor girl actually has been.....she's not had any female support to grapple with this huge challenge she's facing....aaj pehli baar she got a woman's perspective in support of her like this and it was quite lovely to see the way Rupi embraced her like an apna. It was also a balm to the soul to see someone valuing Imlie like a human being for herself rather than using her per convenience to prop their own image and then trashing her in snobbery as Malini has subjected us to for a long time now. Dunno if that's the contrast they were going for but to me, that is why it gave that sukoon today.

As for Adi ka no faraks zone....haha yes that is always the best zone😆.....Rupi di has atleast started to put the idea in Imlie's head that her abstract approach to marriage is not sustainable long term....a marriage involves the person you are tied to as well.....let's see when it starts penetrating the thick walls in Imlie's head😆

Atleast this makes one less person that Adi-Imlie have to hide from in the family😆

+1

What I liked about the treatment is there was no drama to Rupali’s acceptance of the truth. Imlie told her the truth and she accepted it. She saw it for exactly what it was. And that was the biggest gift Imlie could get. She got the best supporter of the lot and a major part of it is because of Rupali’s history. I loved the bit where she acknowledged that Imlie was still a young girl who had been pulled apart from her mother in a sense.

I would like to see a Rupali and Aditya convo but I doubt we get it soon? I’m happy that Imlie has an in-house confidant for now.

It remains to be seen how much Imlie listens to her though like you said. She is not in the headspace that is willing to go beyond Malini right now.

Beautiful words.👏 You have perfectly penned down Aditya’s character. 😊

He does not only want to say the truth so that he can get out of the suffocating relationship but he also is finding it hard to live with the burden of lies. His whole career and life is about reporting the truth and he constantly has to live with lies in his personal life. He can be anything but he cannot be a hypocrite, a liar. This goes so much against his principles no wonder he is dying to speak the truth. Imlie is not getting this part of his personality because of her didi jaap.

When the truth is out, I hope the family ask him 2 questions:

1) why did he not tell the truth to his family after returning from PD

2) why did he not take any action against PD people for forcing him to marry at gun point

so much word to this.. just the bhojh that comes with that expectation too ke jo kuch bhi hi this person can never go wrong and will sambhalo the situation and always expected to be right and be strong. they expect him caz they also think he is capable and his emotional dettachment and hard extrior gives them that but they have to realize things can affect him too and they need to let him have his weak moments too and esp now when itna kuch ho raha hai adi needs the space and not anymroe pressure.. so am glad he said it..

another bit that touched me was aparna being so careful in what she was saying being sensitive mother warning pankaj ji ke plz do not unload like typical dad here plz the least he deserves is daant hahah even though papa Tripathi was hardly being rude he was just asking questions too like a dad just thodi more authority ke saath... it was such a realistic bit too with moms trying to control the situations much as they can between baap beta .. we need more of these moments between the 3 too..

Superb analysis AY...👍🏼

Coming to the episode some scenes were breathe taking

Adi and his irritation with each and everyone giving him gyaan abt how wrong he is and she is boon to him 😆...plus imlie not on his side. Because she is more on "didi bachao ghar bachao mission " 😆

Yahan rupi completely on her side of getting haq ..moonji ko jhatka lagega ...agar saare ek taraf huye toh 😆waise she has not done anything to bond everyone together sirf gossips and entertainment ke liye she used to join or where she will get footage .🤢

Apu still on how great bahu we got ...have they ever thought before entry of moon all things were just so cool and relaxed paar jabse ayi tabse either moon or her mom doing tamasha back to back good adi just said ..not going to entertain you and your bahu decisions ..infact much bothered abt imlie study and future ....

One thing is sure imlie, study and his relationship ke beech adi will not permit anyone to mess with it

Imlie still wearing all the stuff given by adi means abhi bhi she is happy with things rather than her rights she needs to wake up ...as adi ,rupi too said no one going to be happy if it continues this way ...😳

Finally adi too understood moon yeah model uske liye designed nahi hai they would have always ended in this way 😆wheather imlie would have been or not been there ...mess hone hi wala tha...

Adi that time just thought of his haan mein haan milao partner or say the partner where he would have felt comfortable and not loved so jumped in to this relation with moon which was friendship...

Let see what they serve us tommorrow👍🏼

Now that I have ranted a bit about my frustration with Imlie's characterization today, I feel free to talk about the other parts of the story😃.

I am so glad that Rupi Di got to hear the complete truth about Adi-Imlie relationship. Glad that the writers did not use the incomplete truth tactic because that would have only added onto Imlie's guilt.

It was so nice to see that Rupi Di was worried about Imlie's state of mind as soon as she saw her. She genuinely cares for Imlie & knows that Imlie would be upset, sad & feel guilty about Adi-Malini fight. She was worried that she would leave home in her guilt & went after her to talk to her & make her understand that she should not feel guilty for Adi- Malini's fight.

I loved how this then evolved into her making Imlie understand that she is not the guilty party after she came to know the whole truth about Adi-Imlie's marriage. Rupi Di was shocked after listening to Adi-Imlie's convo but she took the effort to ask Imlie the truth of what she had heard. Her response when Imlie confirmed the truth was so realistic. She was worried, upset & panicked as well. But she took the time to listen to the complete story before making any judgements because she genuinely cares about both Adi & Imlie. This consideration to listen to their truth before judging them has elevated her character today by miles🤗.

I knew that she would support Imlie as the one who was wronged because of her own marriage experience where she had to give up on her marriage because her husband chose to be with someone else. She is identifying with Imlie on that basis. But that is not the only factor. She truly cares for Imlie & is empathising with her for going through such trauma at such a young age all alone. Her advising Imlie to fight for her rights as a wife was the correct advice. She understands that Imlie is not able to see the larger picture of how this will impact her life in the long term in her guilt about Adi-Malini relationship being broken. Hence she tried to make her understand that she was the victim of the circumstances & should not feel guilty.

I think she will continue to support Imlie & help her to understand that fighting for her relationship with Adi is not the wrong thing. Imlie genuinely needs this advice from a third party as she has completely blocked Adi out because of the inherent bias involved & her own guilt.

I am interested to see Rupi Di's view on Malini as an individual & in her role as Adi's wife & member of the family. I personally think that she is not that impressed with her. I remember how excited she was to have Malini as a member of the family before marriage. But we have hardly got any one on one scene with them both bonding together after marriage. Even during Didi's drama during Adi's recent PD trip, she was not the one who went to samjhao Didi, it was Nishant. It would have made more sense that Rupi Di would have sympathised with her then & tried to give her moral support but I think Rupi Di has not bonded with her much on individual level & hence did not feel comfortable to have an honest conversation with her.

In contrast, we have seen many Imlie-Rupi Di significant scenes be it Imlie helping her make the decision to accept the lower level job, preventing her from harming herself, crying in her pain with her, etc. So now that she gives Imlie the consideration & concern, it is justified. Her support for Imlie over Malini is justified. Also, she is truly playing the role of a big sister to Imlie without just making big declaration like the dementor Didi.
