What a depressing episode today.

How can I be so angry at a character that was not even in the episode today.......Aditya. Why did Aditya have to bring Imlie back to his house? How could he be so blind about Malini’s real personality for 7 freaking years? Why did he let Imlie and Malini get so close that Imlie will take any behavior dished out at her from Malini? Does he realize what a tsunami he has gotten into his house by marrying Malini?

Imlie, a girl who has the strength to deal with the world by herself at a young age of 19, stood so helpless in front of Malini’s malicious anger today. What is she reduced to in tripathi house? None of them could stand up to Malini today. And why the heck is Imlie guilty of anything. She has done absolutely nothing to feel guilty about. Why could she not stop Malini from using her as a punching bag. Why does she need Adtiya to protect her against Malini. Gosh seeing how helpless she was in today’s episode and in the precap, especially after seeing how well she handled herself in the first part of the episode, made me so damn angry at her situation. Just what happens to her when faced with Malini’s Nautanki. Where does the strong Imlie go? And why the heck is the female lead in ITV always the punching bag of everyone’s anger....be it nakli nani, then Aditya, then Anu and now Malini. All imlie wanted was to go to college and become a police officer to support her dadda. What the heck has happened to her life. Clearly I am Damn angry after watching today’s episode. I don’t know if I can take another episode of Malini using Imlie as her emotional punching bag. Adi and the tripatis have to step up big time to protect Imlie or else she might as well move back to the hostel for her own sanity.

Do you think Imlie will leave the house after this fiasco and also Meethi knows the truth. Imlie only have her faith to navigate through her life. If she abides by Didi’s dictatorship that would be conflicting with the show’s key point. So, I wonder if Imlie would leave the T house after this and to answer Meethi’s questions

Ye Didi ki dadagiri is getting too much. Now the elder T's really need to step up to make her understand her role as a bahu in the house & what are her rights & limitations of her role. Aise chup baithne se kuch nahi hoga.

Last time Adi was at fault so Ok, they were not able to speak against her. But what is her excuse everytime to just bulldozer her way on everyone. Lihaaz naam ki cheez sikhani padegi na. Itna sar pe chadhaoge toh aise hi woh naachegi. Arey naaraz hoti hai toh hone do. Koi crime nahi commit karnege agar bahu ko galti ke liye thoda suna diya toh. And please acknowledge that it is not your son's fault everytime.

I also think Adi needs to have a conversation with the elder T's about them supporting Malini Didi all the time. He should tell them to not hesitate to scold her as well if she is at fault.

Frankly I am not sure why the family doesn't ever support Adi. Just because he is grouchy or is it something else. Honestly they do not give any value to his opinions as well. Toh ye uski wife ko kyu sir par chadhake rakhe hai. Beta jaap na karna is one thing but they take it to the other extreme with disregarding his opinions & not siding with him even a single time.

One last bit before I end the day on here. Malini’s actions today were fueled by jealousy. Plain resentment that Imlie could have held her own with the principal without any need for her intervention. The principal knowing who Imlie was stung her to the extent that the sindoor just became the impetus for her outburst. Like how Aditya has no control over himself where Imlie is concerned, neither does Malini, albeit for different reasons.

She begrudges Imlie’s ability to become a part of the fold wherever she goes without being what Malini considers to be cultured or refined. Be it in the Ts household, with Aditya or most of all with her dad. Malini dislikes that someone of Imlie’s stature can get away with being the object of affection of so many people so effortlessly. The first moti roti incident, the bhaang filled family dance, her dad’s gift, the bridge incident - every single time she has felt Imlie taking away the spotlight from her. None of them have gone unnoticed and now she is in the mental space where all roads lead to Imlie so she has to inevitably be her sole punching bag. I hope Aditya soon goes back to giving 0 faraks instead of being guilted into the horizon.

So what is the purpose of all this, one has to wonder.....was this supposed to be a reminder to Imlie ki woh jaise sochti hai, waise duniya mein aur koi nahin sochta? Her faith, which anchors her, carries her through every tough situation today crashed into the harsh reality of Didi ke frustrations......so maybe this is meant to show to Imlie that no one will let her live in peace simply with carrying her faith in her heart. Even if she thinks she is not taking anything away from someone, they will not let her have a moment's peace by herself either. So a choice will have to be made....does she really think even if she stopped wearing that sindoor, Didi will be pacified?

Malini has literally drained the life out of Imlie in her first day of college.....is this a sustainable situation? Time for Adi, Imlie and maybe even the Tripathis to think this through. I don't know where the writers are taking this but if this is the status quo, Imlie will need to leave the house again cuz Malini has fully gone off the deep end and no one seems capable of stopping her twisted torturing of Imlie.

This was an exhausting epi to watch and I'm not looking forward to another round of bakwaas from Didi tomorrow much either.....anyways, let's see how it goes.

Great point AY. Yes - it does feel like Imlie is learning this the painful way- that her live and let live attitude and wanting all peace on Earth attitude will not work . Even she was hurt despite her best benevolent efforts when she saw BS and Malini together. So she shouldn’t expect anything less than war from Malini- especially since this is a Malini who is used to passively getting her own way (eating santhrein despite ’ Dadi’s kheer, Mom’s custard and Papa- ice cream’ ;used to attention because of her looks and ‘sweet’ nature- Malini who just cannot understand how anyone especially her husband would not want to be at her feet .

BS warned Imlie multiple times- Malini khush nahin hai and I don’t have it in me to take that effort to make her happy.

It appears that Malini has made the connection between disappearance of BS attention/ affection in her and appearance of that affection in Imlie’s life- the sindoor that Imlie wears is now symbolic of that. Otherwise - if you think about it- why should she get so bothered? Even if Imlie is wearing sindoor in someone’s name- it could easily be someone from PD - it could be anyone. Why should she be bothered about sindoor that Imlie wears in some random persons name

Maine himmat karke precap fir se dekha to see whether Imlie really had red hands & I noticed some things.

The precap scene is happening in Imlie's room & only Adi & Nishant are present along with Imlie & Malini. I think this scene will come after whatever confrontation Adi has with Malini in front of the family.

Thodi expectation ho rahi mujhe shayad ki Adi really does shut down Malini acche se in front of the family the conclusion of which is that she has no right to say anything to Imlie. That is why now she is doing her main bechari crying drama ki I have no right to say anything to you & take my sindoor as well.

But kal ke epi ke baad hi pata chalega ki fir se as always meri expectations ki chop hoti hai ya for once I get something right😆.

Who the heck is Malini to interfere in Imlie’d life. Why she is behaving as if Imlie needs someone to take care of her? To discipline her? Who the heck is Malini to Imlie? And if Imlie wants to wear sindoor, it is her sindoor, her maang, her freaking life. Who the hell is Malini to tell her what she can and cannot do? Imlie needs to draw some personal boundary when it comes to other people. Except her mother and dadda, to some extent Aditya, no one can cross the line and interfere in her personal life. Tripatis can but only to the extent that they make sure they never hurt Imlie. This is their house, Malini is their bahu, if they cannot make sure to let Malini know never to talk to Imlie like this ever again then imlie needs to pack her bags like at that very moment. Imlie should remember never to disappoint her amma and Satyakam, and she is disappointing them if she allows Malini to walk all over her and put Malini’s misbehavior toward her above her self respect. It is one thing to do didi jaap if Malini is pretending to be sweet, but if she allows Malini to misbehave with her, she is then going against what her mother and dadda has taught her.

I have the same prediction too. Another thing is Nishanth being there. I think he might be first to console Imilie. I see a good trusting friendship happening between the two and with nishanths cancer and Pallavi story starting up, Imilie’s friendship will be valuable.

+1 to everything.. she just couldn't deal with the fact that imlie didn't needed her at all for whatsoever. she would've found her way to the class too but didi wanted to show her to get some brownie points and told her to stop and wait .. and then lost it at how imlie disobeyed her order of not applying it.. and now the i look back more it is making more sense to me caz adi told her to let it be in first place where she went extra crazy and violent in rubbing it off then she walked away and imlie quickly reapplied so this woman really is having a strong doubt but obviously she won't be bothered to seedhe se ask and thought humiliating imlie is the best thing to do to protect rofl .. Yeah ghanta protect IMlie but protect her jhoota rishta where the other partner has no faraks to give anyway. her resentment caz from the fact that imlie used her own will did not behave like a ghulam ke jo hukum mere aaka..
