And yes, it's also possible that someone in the family may notice the vibes between Adi-Imlie and start to think that Malini's insecurity of her is justified...the person most likely to support Malini here is Rupi....it would be a return to the Rupi from the early days of the show, who was quite rude and misbehaved with her own family waale too. Tripathis mein bas ek hi insaan hai who has taken a walk down the dark side before toh they might try to align her with Malini on this.

Malini crossed a major line in this epi but I guess her full elitism and snobbery related to Imlie still won't register on the Tripathis for a while.....and she will continue to get the sympathy of "bechari wife" until the truth is revealed.....that is the loophole they may use in getting Rupi to sympathize with her.

If Nishant finds out, I don't see him blindly supporting Malini....he will know Adi and Imlie's side of the story and will approach the situation with that context.

Also, I do feel this turn of events is supposed to be a jolt to bring Adi out of the guilt that is weighing him down regarding Malini.

Not saying the guilt of the overall situation won't keep hitting him but this will just make it clearer that if the choice comes between protecting Imlie or giving token consideration to Malini out of guilt, he will always choose Imlie.

Malini is currently directly attacking the symbol of Imlie's faith as well as the symbol of her marriage with Adi. No matter the overall mess that this situation is, I don't think Adi will tolerate Imlie being attacked for this....in the very least because all this while, he feels he hasn't stood up for her and her rights as his wife. If Adi can beat up random gundas for trying to take Imlie's MS away from her, does it seem like he will now be able to tolerate anyone, yes even Malini attacking Imlie's sindoor?

I guess they are circling around the issue given the complications of Malini still having the technical label of his wife but in his mind/heart, Adi has fully detached that label from Malini. Imlie is the only one he considers his wife.....and his actions in the coming days will prove this more I feel.

Yesterday’s episode would be a deciding point for many characters.

Imlie - she has been standing at crossroads since the beginning and playing fence. She wanted both pati ka saath and didi ka pyaar. She have to choose only one. She have to choose a path faithfully and believe it. Right now she is afraid to choose as she would hurting her beloved didi. She can’t have both.

Didi - she has been playing both victim and mahaan cards very tactfully for people to accept her dictatorship. She has finally chosen to let go mahaan card and picked up “obey me” card. Now she will play both victim and dictator games. The game for for her changed the tides from subtle to hard using all her strength.

Adi - well he is playing dev at times and a game changer at times. The path he chooses in situations would decide the forward play for Didi that is whether to play victim or a dictator at times.

But imlie’s one move or when she stops playing the fence can be a game changer/end of moves.

I have learnt a new thing in the forum today🤓.

AC, Malini & DC are characters which are real.

Imlie is over the top & Adi is unreal👏.

Behan aapko zor ki jhappi deni hai🤗 but you are right about all of these things🤞 later on when I watched the episode I didn't mind it as much caz mujhe didi ki desperation pe pity feel hua ke kaise khud ka tamasha bana rahi hai yeh in guise I'd making imlie ka tamasha pehle apni job pe phir sasural walon ke saamne . Imlie toh kuch Lamhon ke liye college main thi hardly anyone knew her but Professor sahiba ne sab colleagues and students ke saamne apna mazaak banwaya and Gave them fodder to banao baatein rofl so much for I wanted to shut people's mouths haha

Adi ka fierce side needs to come and I hope it does come in full force 🤞 but word ke he has detached himself from malini the the extent ke ab Dunia ke saamne bhi he can't call her his wife or do random dikhava bhi the distance is being maintained even the slightest touch from her makes him jump and he feels the disgust of sorts and goes this is WRONG

I have not rewatched today's epi except for precap. And precap has given me hope ki Adi will take a stand for imlie. Hopefully kal ka epi accha hua toh I will see today's epi once again tomorrow😆.

I think we have discussed it before also on the previous threads that nothing will make Adi come out from his guilt zone for Malini faster than Malini Didi attacking Imlie. And that is what has happened today. So yes I am expecting Adi to fiercely defend Imlie & give a piece of his mind to Didi. Uske baad Didi might try to change her tactics to try & become a bechari in front of everyone once again.

Also I do think either Nishant or Rupi might get suspicious seeing Adi's fierce protectiveness for Imlie. Something's gotta give to start the suspicion cycle on the Tripathis side. But maybe someone unexpected might make the connection because we also got Meethi being the one to know the truth suddenly when we were not even expecting it.

And Adi definitely has not called Malini Didi as his wife outloud after his return from PD. Malini herself, Imlie & other characters have said it but not him. He has completely removed Malini Didi as his wife from his heart as well as mind. He considers only Imlie as his wife now.

Haan thoda cool down hone ke baad I was reflecting on the epi a bit more objectively😆.....first watch mein toh Didi ne paagal kar diya and it just felt too awful to see Imlie being subjected to all that.

But your point is so valid too ki Malini was claiming she was saving Imlie from embarrassment but yeh toh apna khud ka tamasha hi banaake aayi hai wahaan pe bhi, and ghar mein bhi in front of the family. Her over the top reactions regarding the sindoor were putting herself in a bad light, not Imlie.

I think whenever Adi-Imlie talk after this, the discussion will shift aise hi....Adi will tell Imlie candidly ki promise jo bhi ho, it will not come at the cost of you being disrespected by Malini....woh main bardaasht nahin karunga. Status quo mein agar koi shift aayega toh yeh wala aayega....Imlie ka stance may not change much on Didi yet, but Adi will start shifting a bit in terms of deciding that he will stick up for Imlie come what may.

Ideally ofcourse he should just end the marriage with Malini regardless of all these issues, but drama kheechenge cuz of Imlie ka promise😆....so I think if Adi feels he can't get out of this cuz of Imlie's promise, he's going to go the route of expressing his truth via his actions in terms of elevating Imlie's respect and status in his life and home in every other way that he can. Abhi tak it was just about him supporting Imlie ki education, but I think soon enough, Adi will start elevating her place in his life in other apparent ways.....the more Imlie backs off from her rights, the more Adi will step forward to find ways to give her the respect she deserves.

Exactly....Adi has totally detached that label of wife from Malini and is currently giving her the token regard of zimmedaari/responsibility. The guilt he is feeling is not about thinking he owes her something as a husband....the guilt he is feeling is with regards to her feeling hurt by the truth....but that still hasn't stopped him from fully committing himself to the idea of Imlie as his wife.

That is why I said ki you can debate the fair/unfair aspect of it but it's quite something that Adi has embraced his resolve with regards to Imlie being his wife....ki ab chaahe koi bhi aandhi/toofaan aaye, he will not back down from nibhaaoing the rishta from his side. Aur kisi rishte ko nibhaane mein usko koi interest nahin other than this one right now.....it's token cohabiting with Didi again only cuz of the regard he wants to give to Imlie's requests of him....but everything is stemming from his need only to nibhaao his rishta with Imlie as his wife. Since he is not being able to do it openly with his full right on her as her husband, he is trying to do it jitna bhi in bits and pieces as the situation allows.
