One thought on symbolisms and all that.

Malini brought darkness both at her home and today in her sasuraal as well. She entered her maayka after getting angry with Adi and trying to prove a point. On reaching there was a powercut, plunging the house into darkness. The house will be rocked and shaken with the coming revelations that will destroy all that they know.

Today, she entered her sasuraal on the sly, without anyone being made aware of her entry. Was it her insecurities at play here, trying to catch her hubby in the act of lying or just plain ignorance on not informing anyone.

She makes her way through the house in the darkness, trying to navigate her path with her phone to light her path.

Compare this to the scene of Adilie.

Adi was in darkness, his sunlight having dimmed for the day. 😆 Now Imlie brought a candle and she brings light to his life. On seeing her, his mood considerably lifted and his headache disappeared too. His mood changed from despondency, trying to untangle the mess he is in, to that of wooing his love, his wife.

Forgot to get to this darkness/light symbolism earlier, but good point, Nim.

To me, it wasn't so obvious cuz the lights went out before Malini got back to T house😆....but yes, when she went to C house, that time she did bring the darkness with her.

Despite the creepiness of the way she was walking in like a ghost😆, I can give her benefit of doubt ki lights were out toh doorbell kaam nahin ki, so she used her house key to let herself in.....lol....but she definitely did not look like the harbinger of light in anyway.

As for Imlie, she did bring light into the darkness where Adi was sitting....then there is the symbolism of Adi himself as the Sun (lol I still find this to be a flimsy metaphor for him....I don't see sun-like qualities in him😆) ...but anyways, Imlie wants to use that metaphor for him to indicate ki she expects this Sun to move on to giving light to someone else now😆....aka his Moon....but Imlie doesn't seem to realize ki ab Moon hi Moon nahin rahi for this Sun😆....toh kya roshni dega use😆.

I feel Adi is smitten by Imlie from the first time they both had that takkar

he is fascinated by her ,if not why would any person take that many pictures of a girls. doesn't make sense to take pictures of a stranger. if we check that camera I think it will be her pictures more than anything.

The feelings are there since then, because what he had with Malini is not love

The gunpoint wedding kind of hurt his ego which he took it out on Imlie

subconsciously he was in love with her from the first sight only it took this lonnnnnnnnnng for hime to realize it . It's slow process and losing her kind of intensified those feelings.

Hahaha the sun and moon is gul ki permanent metaphor right it just feels like she copy pasted what worked for somebody else here.. mere ko bhi adi.suraj nahi lagta he doesn't have that larger than life quality to him 😆 sabko life dega type .. and khair the less I saw about moon the better

LOL this is one of my fav. scenes btw😆....especially cuz it came during a phase where Imlie bechaari ko yeh otherwise bahut daraa ke rakhta tha but apni Jhalli ne kya PARADE lagvaayi Adi ki is scene mein🤣

And the other reason this scene amuses me is that Adi apne hi mehendi function mein, under the excuse ki yeh Jhalli koi problem na khadi kar de, was constantly mandraaoing around her in the kitchen😆....and then moments like these where he grabs her hands to pulls her down to shush her....and there is just the briefest pause of awareness....it showed he was affected by her then also that he was actively trying to suppress in various ways....through complaining, through irritation....but sab fail ho gaya, Babusahib😆

@MB: LOL this was the scene that hooked you? For me, it was the Dil Se clip....I caught up around the time the gunshot track aired....what perfect timing it was😆
