And the other reason this scene amuses me is that Adi apne hi mehendi function mein, under the excuse ki yeh Jhalli koi problem na khadi kar de, was constantly mandraaoing around her in the kitchen😆....and then moments like these where he grabs her hands to pulls her down to shush her....and there is just the briefest pause of awareness....it showed he was affected by her then also that he was actively trying to suppress in various ways....through complaining, through irritation....but sab fail ho gaya, Babusahib😆

@MB: LOL this was the scene that hooked you? For me, it was the Dil Se clip....I caught up around the time the gunshot track aired....what perfect timing it was😆

Yup it was one of the rare scenes where they got a bit into fun zone with the jhalli sunaooing him left right and center 😆 it was a breeze of freshness in the otherwise heavy mahol. 😆 adi ko phir se totally helpless mode main daal.dia.tha jhalli ne.. uska.koj bhi pentra kaam nahi aaya tha..and rofl.yes him chasing his zimmedari making sure she is okay all over was next level of hilarity .. apni man pasand ki shaadi se bhagta phir raha tha to make sure jhalli is fine and not in trouble..

@bold - this is what happens when you have seen all of two ITV shows in your life 😆 Koi bhi regular scene done a little differently gets you 😆 I actually did not pick it up too regularly even then. The gunshot track was pretty much when I went back and saw everything as well

I feel Adi is smitten by Imlie from the first time they both had that takkar

he is fascinated by her ,if not why would any person take that many pictures of a girls. doesn't make sense to take pictures of a stranger. if we check that camera I think it will be her pictures more than anything.

The feelings are there since then, because what he had with Malini is not love

The gunpoint wedding kind of hurt his ego which he took it out on Imlie

subconsciously he was in love with her from the first sight only it took this lonnnnnnnnnng for hime to realize it . It's slow process and losing her kind of intensified those feelings.

I do feel Adi instantly felt a connection to Imlie....there was just something in her aura that instantly fascinated him.....but it wasn't typical attraction, which is why he didn't feel any kind of realization that he's feeling connected to someone other than Malini. He was comfortable discussing Malini with Imlie even when Imlie was teasing him about his love back in the city.....that's how relaxed he was.

He admired Imlie, he was fascinated by her, there was an instinctual connect between them as they talked so easily about so many things....he was protective about her....but in those early stages it wasn't typical attraction. All of that evolved later post the forced wedding when they went through various ups and downs together, when fate ended up making them stay together, in the same house even in various awkward situations.

I kinda love that we can't really pinpoint that "moment" of when they fell in love with each other😆.....it's the flowing quality to it all that makes it lovely to watch :)

Hi guys,

New to Imlie Forum but not on IF. Used to be quite active on some other Gul shows. Have been watching Imlie since first epi and totally loving it. Might come back with a bit longer and detailed comment, lekin I just saw this promo/precap aur mujhse raha nahin gaya to say something. I haven’t watched all the episodes yet (I watch on tv with mom) but I do read the updates here.

Khair, coming back to the promo: love love love the way Adi says “aankhen band karo” and with the back ground score (sorry, Don’t know what you call it and don’t want to offend the religion by calling it by some name). Pata nahin yeh scène actual epi mein hoga ya nahin aur maybe something similar, but it’s the subtleness and cotton-soft relationship they share now, which burst your heart ❤️ There is love on some other level and Adi realizing the overwhelming feeling of falling in love and loving someone to that extent is so well done and portrayed. He wants this hence will make it happen by taking small steps, beginning with the most important sign; sindoor...

Again, I’m merely talking about this particular promo. Aage, peeche kuch nahin. Just this moment of Adi filling her maang willingly and lovingly ...

Thank you 😊

Hey welcome to the forum :) So glad to have someone popping into this forum to NOT abuse Adi-Imlie for a change😆....so thank you for that😆....it's heartening to see atleast some new entrants get what the story is about.

@bold: Such a beautiful description of the scene....I loved that word you used for their relationship...cotton-soft....it really fills your heart to see how they are evolving....glad to see others appreciating it too :)

When Adi married Imlie, that automatically gave her rights as his wife.....if she let go for whatever reason later on, stepping back for him to go to Malini, does that make those rights void forever?

Reason I'm asking this question also is cuz people are making it sound like just cuz Imlie isn't walking around with sindoor/MS on her, she isn't actually Adi's wife and doesn't have the rights of a wife....lol so is the logic ki only the one who "looks" like a wife all dolled up in sari/sindoor/MS is the one who has the rights?

Adi right now is literally struggling to give those rights back to Imlie that she herself let go of....that is what this is all about....but people are making it sound like Imlie has no rights anymore and all the rights are only Malini's.

Ofcourse this is fiction so we are debating it like this😆.....reality mein it would be getting hashed out via the legal route😆.

If you’re just looking at from the religious point of view, people in the olden times always pulled an Adi😂😂 but that doesn’t mean the first wife loose her rights, right? For Imlie, she believes in this marriage so does Adi and this marriage was done with all the religious rituals and people present. So,I don’t think she lost her rights, but did she give up her right?yes ,but it’s because Imlie is a selfless soul who is thinking about others above herself. As you said, how many people walk around with MS and sindhoor these days?Just because this is a serial people expect the wife to go full on sugan wala look and if you’re not wearing it,I guess they’re are not married which is crazy.People’s mind still stuck in the 90’s🌚

So I was watching the last bit from yesterday when Imlie is talking about sun.. I dont know how I missed it yesterday- Adi actually said "toh kya doob jaaoon" - Adi aur uske taane! 😂

I am loving all the posts on when and how Adi fell in love with Imlie. I cannot put my finger on any particular scene..it definitely has been a journey..and still is. Imlie has had the emotion sickness for a while right, the bike ride?!

Thank you ji 😊

I’m not new to this forum, trust me I have seen quite a lot so people who have different opinions are welcome but should have a good basis, samaj gayi nah 😉

I absolutely love the way their relationship is evolving - not new, starting from “hate” to love now but it’s the journey and realization that is new. How many times have we seen straight to the point conversations between the lead pair without too much unnecessary drama around them?! I get the circumstances are not in their favor at all and the bigamy is apparently hatke for some people (to each their own), but let’s not forget it’s a tv show and there is so much worse being shown on tv and movies...

Anyways, yes I absolutely feel theirs is cotton-soft because that is what I feel when I watch them.
Since Imlie is still hesitating to give into her feelings, it’s more than logical and natural for Adi to take a few (bold) steps. He is starting to paint the town red, literally with that sindoor, so I really hope that Imlie will also take that pencil and fill up her part of that blank paper. Though that won’t happen any time soon, since she is so conscious of her guilt feeling for Malini. So yeah, Adi it’s kinda on you now ...

Is it weird that it doesn't even bother me in anyway when it happened .. it happened in the process along the way with admiring choti choti cheezein koi solid moment of eureka nahi tha and I LOVE it so much .. that it flowed just like hawa..
