My late late review:

I see a lot of bashing of prakash... but i must say i appreciate the character and the actor. The actor plays him well. Yes Pari was in love with Imlie since childhood and maybe crossing boundaries. But his character speeded the Adhi jealous/realization arc. I for one am glad Imlie has a friend to confide in. She has been so lonely. I actualy liked when he proposed to imlie and she rejected him but he genuenly agreed to help her because he is friend first.

Now coming to episode with his gyan of infidelity was as paiful as it sounded is how society will perceive. This will make Imlie reject BS persuit of her allowing the story to move forward. Lets face it if Adilie get together now the story is pretty much over. We need angst and the close of malini chapter first.

The scene where BS wa missing imlie so much that he was kissing his shirt and feeling lost was well done. It was unexpected and i was genuenly suprised. Even strong dashing men can show their vunerable side. Gashmeer well done.

I also liked Imlie and Badki kaka conversation. Imlie as a character is soo well written. Her personality is amazing.

The tripatis are as usual boring! Just sitting around and dont even know how to enjoy holi.

Malini my dear needs to start loating Adhi now. She needs to get some backbone and start giving Adhi hell. I am done with her sati role now. The girl needs to be strong. Give Adhi some more missery

Yes, he can see it but she is not giving him direct answers so he is not sure what her thoughts are regarding him.... its that feeling of new love plus uncertainty that may be I am seeing things because I want to. Plus her walking away from him is something he is not experienced before so it really pricks him that she can do it so easily where as he cannot even think about doing it.... That was such a touching scene. GM ofcourse made it even more poignant.

But your point makes me think- wasnt there an episode where they show how Nishant and Adi were like inseparable and they both always confided in each other...I am wondering if they will show that ahead..?!

I remember the episode when the T family found married women jewellery in Imlie's belonging returned by the hospital & feared that she had been married & abandoned. That time Malini was saying that if she finds Imlie's husband she would slap him & teach him a lesson for behaving this way with his wife.

But what did she herself do when she made such a big issue out of Adi leaving home for work purposes & she felt he has not treated her right? She punished his family as well as her own with her 24*7 crying, hunger strike to eventually falling into the same husband's arms. She knew he was behaving distantly from her, was suspicious that he was maybe having an affair but still returned with him without even scolding him. If she felt that Adi is not treating her right as a husband why is not holding him accountable for his mistakes & ready to sweep everything under the carpet just so that she doesn't lose him.

Modernity is only in the outer package internally she is as regressive as they come with attaching her own self worth with small things such as cakes, cooking for her husband, not holding husband accountable for his mistakes as long as he grovels in front of her. She looks for validation in such ridiculous things it's unbelievable.

I had raised this question in one of my previous posts that whether Malini would be more upset that Adi has fallen in love with someone else or that he has fallen in love with Imlie. Malini does not consider Imlie as a competition because on paper Malini is better than her in every way that matters be it her background, education, profession. That is why she is able to dismiss any of the obvious signs that show Adi's more than necessary concern for Imlie like Adi's outburst at her & her mom in Imlie's defense or Adi rescuing Imlie without even registering her own presence during the bridge collapse even after her mom's repeated suspicions.

I do think she will be more hurt that Adi has fallen for Imlie- a simple village girl who on paper falls short in everything that Malini excels in. She will not be able to understand how she could be defeated by Imlie when she is the better option. Maybe later on she will be able to understand that Adi has found the qualities that he expects from his life partner in Imlie. Let's see what the makers show.

Yeah, I gave up on her character a while ago. I realized after recalling that she had been this insecure from the very beginning. She used to call Aditya pretty incessantly and ask dumb questions even then.

I do not think she’s regressive. What she wants is undivided attention. There was one episode where she even questioned BKaki if she did not love her without her even bringing up Malini. I think this was the one where they were talking just before going to a restaurant. She wants everyone to mandrao around her and she wants to mandrao around Aditya. Probably a need stemming from her dysfunctional upbringing.

🤣 My first watch normally ends up being time constrained toh if I decide to skip something it is mostly Malini. The second watch I do not have restraints toh dekh leti hoon sab kuch but there are times I skip Malini out of that one too 😆

I have just caught all the episodes and yes your on point here. There has been fear in his eyes he knows there is validation of the relationship but he is not sure if she loves him too. He wanted to say it but was not able to and this is why he acted the way I feel at the bus stop. There is fear in his eyes and body language one that wants to claim her heart and soul. His words to Prakash a proving point that she is his life partner for life.

Especially when he left at the bus stop when he promised he return when she called and cried with a bounce in his step afraid to look back that he resolve will falter for he won’t want to leave. He has said it well he has never understood love and know that he has he cannot walk away. We all change and evolve and I am sure his care for Maline was genuine but he always said I have a woman that loves me and is waiting we never had him say more on the topic. When he married her he has cold feet and his talk with his father showed us the fear he felt. I don’t think it was of guilt alone but I also believe that within he ran for so long because he felt they didn’t fit. It’s goes back to there talk of we always look on the mirror to see what we want and rather avoid what should be. It showed that he looked at her through such eyes whereas Imlie was like I will follow my own may they sit well with you or not.

The yearning for her to be close and the white shirt was a blanket of security that he will be able to fix it. For someone whom has always been reserved and focused on logic he is struggling to contain the flame. I think one of ay post said it well a moth to a flame. I feel a lot of passions are hidden within him and his alter ego pointed that out. His room is a indication of what the man wishes and may enjoy but because he is left on his own the family never considered his wishes.

As for Maline the failing lay in there communication and today the whole sindoor drama didn’t sit well with me. Sorry to say but I felt it was a calculated move and one she should have mentioned to him first. It felt she had sat the scene for another drama because she has still not forgiven him. People mentioned about the saree change I feel that was down to show that she wanted to be in sink with Aditya outfit she was rattled by his words but it went unnoticed by him due to the happenings at the bus stop.

For someone that says she cares and wants to move forward she has pretty much held the family at fears end and we could see that In Barka Kaka today as he so longed to take imlie home. I felt it was more of a move of control then anything else.

God alone knows what they intend to do with Nishant. They did that one scene and conveniently put him on the backburner. From that conversation it looked like he would potentially play a catalyst of some sort. But Imlie chali gayi knowing his sach 😆I am not even interested in this Nishant character anymore because that guy is such a bad actor. Koi aur mila nahin kya inn logon ko.

Lovely points and reviews raised by everyone. Sorry so late to the discussion but I have finally managed to catch-up and read all the reviews.

I cannot agree more but focus on a key piont that nishant pointed out today. He said it well the house didn’t feel like a place of celebration. My dadi kept on harbouring on about this point so have to ask for her. She believes that Maline should have taken a step and spread some joy she is a new member but she is always so reserved. It feels like it’s about her wishes alone and everyone else is secondary. It felt like this throughout the debate and the sindoor scene the longing in the family was the simple warmth she brings. Let’s not forget she left him and bk was upset but a the same time understood why. I felt Maline has not felt remorse for hurting there feelings and is only focusing on her own pain. She keeps saying she is being wronged but at the same time how can one person whom has dated someone for 7 years fall prey and say there partner is having an affair. I don’t believe she had trust in him to begin with the idea of having a large family was cosy but the reality I feel is she was always in it for Aditya whereas he ja always been about relationships even if he cannot express what he feels well. He is protective of his family as we have seen.

I find her more like her mother and as my dadi said education is a tool and guide help on move forward it’s not one that makes everything definitive. It’s not about how one wears relationships it’s about how we carry it. She has shown weak resolve in the matter because like Aditya she did walk away and hurt others yet she never reflected on her actions. Whereas she once again is making him the target just like her mother has done for so many years. In many ways I believe she felt Aditya was like her father one she could control but she never realised or questioned that a man whom waited for 7 years to marry her must have his reasons.

As for imlie and Aditya there feelings have developed over time and there conflict, communication and variance in opinions have made them bond. We always knew there journey was never easy and they both shall learn this. They are protective of each other and there truth speaks through there eyes. Sometimes words are not needed but actions are and today Aditya showing up at the hostile and bus stand was a proving piont that he is there for her even if she is not willing to believe it yet.

for Prakash his opinion was both out of jealousy and rejection. The points raised maybe valid and the lay common one society goes to but I felt all the eduction and effection he has had from meethi to sk was put down the drain. It reminded me of nakli nani whom said you can never trust him. It felt right in the moment he could have chosen his words better but at the time he sounded just like a bitter man whom didn’t want her to receive the love and respect she deserves for both his points where muted today once by Aditya actions and the later with bk. she is loved for whom she is yes they shall be disappointed but at the same time they will manage to move forward together. Sorry to say it showed more of his insecurities then his protective side which he said he would bring by being her friend.
